Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a recording head capable of moving back and forth relative to a recording medium and ejecting a liquid from a nozzle, a cover portion that covers at least a portion of a no-nozzle-formed region in which the nozzle is not formed within a nozzle-formed surface in which the nozzle is formed, and a wiper provided in a back-and-forth movement range of the recording head and capable of wiping the cover portion without contacting the nozzle-formed surface as the recording head moves back and forth.
LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE
A liquid ejecting device includes a base portion, a liquid ejecting portion movably provided at the base portion, a medium supporting portion provided at the base portion and configured to support a printing medium in a printing region where the liquid ejecting portion performs printing, and a maintenance portion disposed in a region on the +X direction side of the printing region in the X-axis direction in the base portion. The maintenance portion includes a moisturizing portion that can form a closed space to which nozzle opens, a cleaning portion that can forcibly discharge liquid from the nozzle, and a wiper that can wipe a nozzle surface where the nozzle is provided. The moisturizing portion, the cleaning portion and the wiper are disposed side by side in the Y-axis direction.
SINGLE-PASS INKJET PRINTER
A single-pass inkjet printer contains a track for guiding a printing medium in the Y direction, a plurality of printing head modules which are arranged one behind the other in the Y direction and a respective plurality of printing heads which extends in the X direction transversely over the track, and a printing region in which the printing head modules can be mounted in a respective printing position in an upright manner in the Z direction and in a reversibly insertable and removable manner along the Z direction. The single-pass inkjet printer further contains a storage region in which a number of printing head modules are mounted in a storage position in an upright manner substantially in the Z direction and in a reversibly insertable and removable manner along the Z direction. The printing heads of printing head modules set in the storage position are received in a protective cover.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS FOR WEB BEING PRINT MEDIUM
An inkjet printing apparatus includes: a print bar unit including an inkjet head configured to eject ink to a web being conveyed; and a guide configured to guide movement of the print bar unit in a print bar movement direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the web between a first position, a second position, and a third position. The first position is a position where the print bar unit performs printing on the web. The second position and third position are located on one and the other sides of the first position in the print bar movement direction.
SELECTIVELY CONFIGURABLE PRINT MODULE
An inkjet print module includes: a printhead having first and second rows of print chips, the printhead having 180 degree rotational symmetry about a print axis parallel to a direction of droplet ejection; a fixed printhead keying feature which is rotationally asymmetric about the print axis notwithstanding the rotational symmetry of the printhead; a cradle for removably receiving the printhead, the cradle having a key assembly for complementary engagement with the fixed printhead keying feature. The key assembly is selectively configurable in either one of first and second cradle configurations so as to receive the printhead either in a first printhead orientation or a second printhead orientation, the second printhead orientation being rotated 180 degrees about the print axis relative to the first printhead orientation.
Printer
A printer includes a head having a nozzle face which ejects ink toward an object, a driving mechanism which moves the head in a first direction and a second direction approximately orthogonal to the first direction, a nozzle cap movable between a first position where the nozzle face is capped and a second position where the nozzle face is uncapped, and a lock mechanism which regulates movement of the head in the first direction and the second direction in the state where the nozzle cap is in the first position.
PRINT MODULE WITH AIR COOLING ARRANGEMENT
A print module includes: a body housing first and second opposed printed circuit boards (PCBs), each of the first and second PCBs having heat-generating electronic components; an air inlet and an air outlet positioned towards an upper part of the body; an air pathway extending between the air inlet and the air outlet; a plurality of heatsinks, each heatsink being thermally coupled with one of the heat-generating components and having an array of cooling fins extending into the air pathway; and an inkjet printhead receiving power and print data from at least one of the first and second PCBs. The inkjet printhead is positioned toward a lower part of the print module.
LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE
Provided is a liquid ejecting device. An alternating current electric field generation unit includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed adjacent to each other, a high-frequency voltage generation unit configured to generate a high-frequency voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode, and a conductor configured to electrically couple the first electrode and the second electrode to the high-frequency voltage generation unit. The first electrode and the second electrode are disposed upstream of a liquid ejecting head in a transport direction of a medium.
CLEANING DEVICE OF LIQUID EJECTION HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTION DEVICE
A cleaning device includes a blade unit configured to move relative to an ink jet head and to wipe an ejection surface of the ink jet head. The blade unit includes a first blade and a second blade that are arranged in a moving direction of the blade unit and formed into flexible plate shapes and a blower that makes an inner space, which is defined by the first blade and the second blade, into a negative pressure.
Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a first liquid ejecting head having a first wiping surface oriented in a first direction; a second liquid ejecting head disposed in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction with respect to the first liquid ejecting head and having a second wiping surface; and a wiping member. A third direction is orthogonal to the first and second directions; a fourth direction is vertical to the first direction and intersects the second and third directions. The first and second liquid ejecting heads are arranged with a gap between the first and second wiping surfaces. The gap includes a first gap extending in the fourth direction. The first wiping surface has a first region that protrudes toward the second liquid ejecting head beyond an imaginary line extending in the fourth direction so as to overlap the first gap.
