LIQUID STORAGE BODY AND LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
Provided is a liquid storage body, including: a liquid storage bag configured to store a liquid containing precipitation components; a liquid introduction pipe arranged in the liquid storage bag; and a liquid discharge unit fixed at one end portion of the liquid storage bag and configured to discharge the liquid introduced from the liquid introduction pipe to a liquid ejection apparatus, in which the liquid introduction pipe includes a spacer portion including at least two liquid introduction ports at different positions in a height direction at a predetermined orientation, a convergence portion at which the liquids introduced from the at least two liquid introduction ports are converged with each other; and a flow channel configured to introduce the converged liquids to the liquid discharge unit.
Print materials replenishment
In some examples, a print materials container can include a dispense mechanism to dispense print materials directly to an in-situ reservoir of a printing device, a lock feature to engage a fill port during connection of the dispense mechanism to the fill port, and a valve integrated with the dispense mechanism for connecting the dispense mechanism to the fill port of the reservoir and comprising an output opening offset from a center axis of a tip of the dispense mechanism. The valve can open responsive to rotation of the valve opening with respect to the lock feature such that opposite openings align.
Inkjet printing apparatus and ink tank
An inkjet printing apparatus includes an ink tank that contains an ink to be supplied to a printing head that ejects the ink, the ink being injected from an ink bottle. The inkjet printing apparatus further includes an injection assistance member including a first passage and a second passage. The first passage is defined by a first upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and a first lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank. The second passage is defined by a second upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and projecting upward less than the first upper end portion and a second lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank and larger than the first lower end portion in terms of a distance from the bottom surface of the ink tank.
Method of installing printhead in print module
A method of installing a printhead in a print module includes the steps of: positioning the printhead in a nest of the print module; moving first and second ink couplings towards the nest and into engagement with complementary first and second ink ports positioned at opposite ends of the printhead; and moving a depressor towards the nest and into urging engagement with a portion of the printhead positioned between the first and second ink ports. The first ink coupling, the second ink coupling and the depressor are moved simultaneously, linearly and parallel to each other, thereby to datum the printhead against the nest.
Liquid discharge device
Aspects of a disclosure relates to a liquid discharge device enables previously disabled liquid discharge through a head after a cartridge including a first liquid chamber is replaced and before the liquid level in a second liquid chamber of a tank reaches a predetermined level or higher. Another aspects of the disclosure relates to a liquid discharge device that deactivates an alarm after a cartridge including a first liquid chamber is replaced and before the liquid level in a second liquid reaches a predetermined level or higher.
Ink supply bottle
An ink supply bottle from which ink is to be supplied to a printer includes: an ink bag that contains the ink; a bottle unit that houses the ink bag and that has a bottleneck with an exit opening; and an ink conduit member disposed in the bottleneck of the bottle. The ink conduit member is in contact with an inner side of the ink bag and seals an opening of the ink bag to form an ink outlet. The ink bag is made of an elastic or stretchable material.
DETECTION METHOD FOR LIQUID LEVEL OF STORAGE TANK
A detection method for a liquid level of a storage tank is provided. The detection method determines that an optical sensor is for a liquid level detection purpose when a sensing value to a tank object is consistent with a first threshold condition. The detection method further determines the optical sensor as valid on liquid level detection when sensing values respectively corresponding to statuses of print material and non-print-material are consistent with a second threshold condition. During printing, the detection method starts/stops pouring print material into a storage tank when the sensing value of the optical sensor is consistent with a third threshold condition correspondingly.
LIQUID EJECTION HEAD AND LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
A liquid ejection head and liquid ejection apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration in image quality without adding a member for heat radiation is to be provided. Therefore, in the liquid ejection head that ejects a circulating liquid, the second engagement part formed on the discharge port side has an elongated hole shape extending in the arrow B direction so as to support the liquid ejection unit support member in such a manner capable of allowing the thermal deformation.
CONTAINER
A container for accommodating a content of powder or a liquid includes an accommodating portion for accommodating the content; a top end portion including a discharging portion and a shielding member, wherein the discharging portion includes a discharge opening for discharging the content to an outside of the container and a passage for permitting passing of the content toward the discharge opening, and the shielding member shields the discharge opening; and a cap detachably mounted to the top end portion, wherein the cap includes a main body portion covering at least a part of the top end portion and a fixing portion fixed to the top end portion and connected to the main body portion, and wherein the main body portion of the cap is separated from the fixing portion by being rotated about a rotational axis thereof relative to the top end portion.
LIQUID CONTAINER
A liquid container connected to a liquid ejection apparatus for ejecting a liquid, includes a container for containing liquid and a filter section for collecting foreign matter, an injection port for injecting the liquid into the container and a lead out port for leading out the liquid from the container are opened in the container, and the filter part is positioned in the injection port.
