Printing-fluid cartridge including contact surface for providing positioning of the printing-fluid cartridge
A printing-fluid cartridge is inserted into a printing-fluid consuming apparatus in an insertion direction crossing a gravitational direction and attached thereto in a first posture. The printing-fluid cartridge includes: a storage chamber, a supply portion having a supply port, an upper surface and a locking surface positioned upward of the storage chamber, an electrical interface disposed at the upper surface, and a contact surface positioned rearward relative to the supply port of the supply portion in the insertion direction in the first posture. The printing-fluid cartridge inserted in the printing-fluid consuming apparatus is movable between the first posture and a second posture. In the first posture, the locking surface engages a lock portion and the contact surface abuts against a positioning portion. In the second posture, the locking surface is positioned downward relative to the lock portion and the contact surface is separated from the positioning portion.
Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head that ejects liquid and an attachment portion to which a liquid container that stores the liquid supplied to the liquid ejecting head is detachably attached. The attachment portion includes a liquid inlet portion that is coupled to a liquid outlet provided in the liquid container, and an urging mechanism that urges the liquid container in a direction opposite to an attaching direction in which the liquid container is attached to the attachment portion. The urging mechanism includes an elastic member that is in close contact with the liquid container attached to the attachment portion and that is provided below the liquid inlet portion in a direction of gravity.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
Examples of electrical connectors are provided herein. In some examples, an electrical connector includes a contact pad at a first end of a route. In some examples, the electrical connector includes a bond at a second end of the route. In some examples, the contact pad and the bond include a copper layer on a substrate, a nickel layer on the copper layer, and a gold layer on the nickel layer. In some examples, the gold layer has a first thickness on the contact pad and has a second thickness on the bond. In some examples, the second thickness is greater than the first thickness.
Liquid storage pack
Provided is a liquid storage pack including: a flat flexible bag member storing a liquid to be supplied to a liquid ejection apparatus; and a spacer member provided inside the bag member. The spacer member has an outer shape that is symmetrical with respect to a predetermined reference plane, and is disposed such that, in a state where the bag member is fully filled with the liquid, the reference plane is offset from a center plane of the bag member in a thickness direction of the bag member, the center plane passing a center of the bag member in the thickness direction and being perpendicular to the thickness direction. This liquid storage pack can stably supply the liquid therein at a uniform concentration.
Rotary printing integrated ink box for seal printing
A rotary printing integrated ink box special for seal printing comprises an ink box body (1) with a cylindrical or elliptic cylindrical outer contour, a spray head (6) with a circuit board (5) is arranged outside the ink box body (1), the spray head (6) corresponds to an ink outlet (3), and contacts (7) connected with control lines of the spray head (6) are integrated on the circuit board (5); and a rotary fixed surface of the ink box body (1) is parallel to a rotary injection surface of the spray head (6).
SUPPLY UNIT AND LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A supply unit in which a liquid container including a coupling portion being detachably mounted includes: a liquid introduction unit coupled to the coupling portion of the liquid container; an urging member that urges the liquid container in an uncoupling direction which is a direction opposite to a coupling direction, the coupling direction being a direction in which the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit; and an engagement lever having an engaging portion that engages with the liquid container when the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit, the engagement lever includes an operating portion operated by a user and a pressing portion configured to press the liquid container and is configured to release the engagement of the engaging portion with the liquid container when the operating portion is operated and to press the liquid container in the uncoupling direction by the pressing portion.
INKJET PRINTER
An inkjet printer includes a support member configured to support a recording medium moving in a first direction, a carriage configured to reciprocate in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and provided with a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact, a first recording head mounted on the carriage so as to contact the first electrical contact and configured to reciprocate together with the carriage, and an electrical contact protection member mounted on the carriage so as to contact the second electrical contact and configured to reciprocate together with the carriage. A shortest distance between the electrical contact protection member mounted on the carriage and the support member in a third direction is greater than a shortest distance between the first recording head mounted on the carriage and the support member in the third direction, the third direction being orthogonal to the first and second directions.
Printing-fluid cartridge having interfering surface, and set of the printing-fluid cartridges
A printing-fluid cartridge is inserted into a prescribed insertion space of a cartridge-attachment section in an insertion direction crossing a gravitational direction to be attached thereto in an attached posture. The printing-fluid cartridge includes: a housing including a storage chamber, a supply portion having a supply hole, an electrical interface disposed at an upper surface of the housing, and an interfering surface. The interfering surface is positioned upward of the storage chamber and extends in a widthwise direction of the housing. The interfering surface is positioned downward and frontward relative to the electrical interface and is configured to abut against a projection provided at another insertion space different from the prescribed insertion space of the cartridge-attachment section during an insertion of the printing-fluid cartridge into the another insertion space.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE INCLUDING FIRST AND SECOND PROTRUSIONS ON TOP WALL OF HOUSING
A liquid cartridge includes a housing, a circuit board including an electrode, and a liquid supply portion extending from the housing in a depth direction. The housing includes a top wall, and first and second protrusions protruding upward from the top wall. The first protrusion is positioned rearward but the second protrusion is positioned frontward relative to the circuit board. The first protrusion is higher than an upper edge of a front end of the second protrusion. No part of the liquid cartridge is positioned higher than an imaginary plane in a height direction in a region between a first point on the first protrusion and a second point on the second protrusion (the upper edge of the front end of the second protrusion) in the depth direction. The imaginary plane passes through the first and second points, and extends perpendicularly to the depth direction.
