The second ink storage unit includes an ink supplying port to which the tube is coupled, a communication hole communicating making inside and outside of the second ink storage unit communicate with each other, and a light-transmissive surface which is transparent or translucent. The communication hole and a portion of the light-transmissive surface are located at a position vertically higher than a front surface of the carriage in a state where the second ink storage unit is mounted on the carriage.
Inkjet printer
An inkjet printer includes a main body. An ink containing unit is disposed in the main body and is configured to contain ink to be supplied. The ink containing unit includes an ink refill portion through which ink is refilled and an ink level display surface disposed on a side surface of the main body. The side surface has an opening through which a jammed sheet is removed and a first cover configured to cover the opening. The ink level display surface and the first cover are juxtaposed on the side surface in a horizontal direction.
INK TANK AND INK JET PRINTING APPARATUS
An ink tank that enables to check whether a cover of an ink tank is normally bonded to the ink tank includes a first chamber having a supply port for supplying ink to a printing head that ejects ink, a second chamber having an external air introduction port capable of introducing external air, a partition wall configured to separate the first chamber and the second chamber, a communication path provided in the partition wall and configured to place the first chamber and the second chamber in communication with each other, a first cover member configured to cover an opening of the first chamber without extending over an opening of the second chamber, and a second cover member configured to cover the opening of the second chamber without extending over the opening of the first chamber.
INK REFILL CONTAINER AND INK REFILL SYSTEM
An ink refill container configured to refill an ink tank with ink and an ink refill system. An ink refill container includes a container main body having an ink chamber; an ink outlet forming portion provided at an edge of the container main body including an ink outlet configured to allow ink to flow out from the ink chamber; a valve provided in ink outlet forming portion and configured to seal the ink outlet in an openable and closable manner; and a positioning structure configured to abut on part of the ink tank and position the valve relative to ink tank when valve is opened. The positioning structure has a positioning surface located on an opposite side to a container main body side where the container main body is located, across the valve and extends in a direction intersecting with a center axis of the ink outlet.
LIQUID HOLDING MEMBER, CAP, AND CARTRIDGE
A liquid holding member includes a bottom surface, and a plurality of convex portions projecting from the bottom surface. Each of the convex portions includes a plurality of surfaces. The convex portions are molded integrally with the bottom surface.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS HAVING LIQUID CONTAINER AND OPERATING MEMBER
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid container and an operating member. The liquid container is configured to introduce liquid from a liquid introducing portion to an inside. The operating member is configured to rotate around a rotation shaft in a first direction from a first position for covering the liquid introducing portion to move to a second position for exposing the liquid introducing portion, and rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the second position to move to the first position. The operating member includes a plug member and a covering portion. The plug member is retained to the operating member by a retaining member and configured to plug the liquid introducing portion at the first position. The covering portion is configured to cover the plug member in a direction intersecting with the first direction.
INK JET PRINTING APPARATUS, INK TANK AND INK SUPPLY CONTAINER
A printing apparatus includes an ink tank and a flow channel member. The tank includes an ink chamber that stores ink, an injection port through which the ink is injected into the chamber, and a first shape portion formed near the injection port. The flow channel member is configured to be disposed inside the injection port and form a channel through which the ink is injected into the chamber. The ink is injected to the chamber from an ink supply container which includes a second shape portion formed near an outlet port of the container and configured to engage the first shape portion. The flow channel member is displaceable in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of inserting the outlet port into the injection port. The container is fixed to the tank by engagement between the first and second shape portions.
Inkjet recording apparatus and ink tank that prevents ink dripping when ink is injected into an ink tank
An inkjet recording apparatus includes an ink tank including an ink storage chamber configured to store ink to be supplied to a recording head configured to discharge ink. An injection portion is provided through which ink is injected from an ink bottle into the ink storage chamber. An ink reception portion is configured to receive ink inside the injection portion. A communication portion is configured to communicate with the ink storage chamber inside the injection portion. A guide portion is configured to guide ink received by the ink reception portion to the communication portion.
Ink supply container and method of reproducing the ink supply container
An ink supply container configured to supply an ink to a printer includes a container part configured to contain the ink, a conduit part on a top side of the container part, the conduit part being configured to lead the ink out, a cap configured to protect the conduit part, the cap being detachably attached to the conduit part, and a film attached to at least one of an inner surface of the container part, an inner surface of the conduit part, and an inner surface of the cap.
