Insulated gloves
An insulated glove, including a covering, a lining and a plurality of heat insulators. The lining is sheathed in the covering, and the lining and the covering form a sandwich structure. Each of the heat insulators includes a first connecting end and a second connecting end which are respectively connected to the covering and the lining, so that the heat insulators are located in the sandwich structure. A cavity capable of insulating heat is formed between the heat insulators, the lining and the covering. The glove has a simple and reasonable structure and is flexible and convenient to use, which has good heat insulation and anti-scald effect, as well as an anti-shock effect.
THERMAL GLOVE FOR USE IN HAIR STYLING
A glove for use in hair styling applications, comprising: a glove body with an inner cavity therein generally conforming to a shape of a human hand, the body portion including an outer surface defining a front side with a palm area and an opposing back side of the glove body, a first end portion having an opening to the inner cavity and an opposing second end portion including a plurality of finger stalls extending from the glove body, the body portion being constructed of a first material; and a plurality of elements coupled to discrete areas of the body portion, wherein the elements are constructed of a second material, the second material having a property of greater thermal conductivity as compared with the first material.
PROTECTIVE FIRE GLOVE
A fire protective glove includes a palm portion and a back portion. The palm portion includes a polymer impregnated layer constructed of aramid fibers, leather, or a combination thereof; and a palm moisture barrier layer that is interior to the polymer impregnated layer, the palm moisture barrier layer being constructed of polyurethane, polytetrafluroethylene, aramid fibers, or a combination thereof. The back portion includes a first back protective layer constructed of aramid fibers, leather, or a combination thereof; and a second back protective layer that is interior to the first back protective layer, the second back protective layer being constructed of aramid fibers, modacrylic, or a combination thereof.
Enhanced Grip Heat Resistant Disposable Dental Medical Gloves
Disposable (or multi-use) gloves are made of latex, nitrile, or any other common material seen in current medical/dental gloves, with the addition of a thicker neoprene, polyurethane, polysuede, or suede-like material overlaid, or embedded, at the tips to allow for protection from heat or cold and enhanced grip for small (possibly wet) items such as crowns.
Gloves can have multiple applications: As described above, for dental hygienists, nurses, doctors, laboratory personnel, jewelers, watch makers, veterinarians, vet techs, do-it-yourselfers/employees working on automobiles/computers/soldering, crafters, anyone working on projects requiring enhanced finger grip as well as fingertip protection from extreme heat or cold.
GARMENT
A garment including a plurality of attached glove members having releasably attached glove bodies is provided. The garment includes a central portion and two opposed sleeve portions. Each attached glove member is attached to each opposed sleeve portion through the use of a retainer. The glove members may be used separately or together, allowing the user to deploy a combination of glove members simultaneously.
Protective device for use with a glove
A color splash effect is established by a darker backdrop color of an outer surface of a liquid proof and heat resistant glove in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails. The color splash effect is accomplished by a lighter and brighter color being visible through the rupture in the glove. The lighter and brighter color may be formed on or as part of a protective member positioned beneath the outer layer. The protective member also protects the wearer against sharp objects contacting the outer layer of the glove and moving over the protective member. Some embodiments provide that the protective member is in a thumb crotch region of the glove.
Protective Finger Heat Guard
A protective finger heat-guard and method of manufacture are disclosed. The protective finger heat guard includes a sleeve formed of a singular woven or non-woven material that defines a protective enclosure for receiving a finger of a user to insulate the finger from high-heat environments, such as during metal joining processes.
Oven mitt and pot holder devices with integrated fire extinguishing blanket
A device for handling hot objects and extinguishing a fire and a method of using the same are provided. A device for handling hot objects and extinguishing a fire includes: a first portion comprising an inner surface portion defining a pocket configured to receive a hand of a user therein; and a second portion configured to extinguish a fire by smothering, the second portion being configurable between a first configuration in which the second portion at least partially covers the first portion and has a first exposed surface area and a second configuration in which the second portion has a second exposed surface area greater than the first exposed surface area.
Mitt system
A mitt system includes a mitt for protecting a user's hand during performance of dirty tasks, and a carrier attachable to the user's body and designed hold the mitt spaced apart from the user's body. The mitt is configured for insertion of the hand through an opening and reception of the hand by a thumb section and a finger section without manipulation of an external surface. The carrier includes a first coupler which retains the mitt and a clip for attachment to the body. In an embodiment, a rigid member maintains the opening of the mitt accessible for reception of the hand.
