Partial Fingered Gloves for Football or Golf Play
According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves and the use of said gloves, intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to football and golf. Because of its unique finger configurations, grip enhancers, and/or its hand protective properties, the present invention makes a glove now operable on a football quarterback's throwing hand and on golfers dominant hand, for example.
Glove coating and manufacturing process
This invention relates to an elastomeric article with improved lubricity and donnablity and reduced stickiness/tackiness. According to the methods of the invention, the internal surface of the elastomeric article is coated with a polyisoprene coating. The coating of the invention is formed from synthetic polyisoprene rubber that may or may not contain minor amounts of other components. The coating is preferably directly bonded to the underlying elastomeric article.
UTILITY GLOVE
A utility glove formed of a glove blank of a fabric material in the shape of at least a portion of a hand having one or more areas of elastomeric material injection molded thereon to form one or more three dimensional molded portions, the three dimensional molded portions being the fabric material with the elastomeric material bonded thereto, wherein one or more three dimensional molded portions leave at least one area of fabric material of the glove blank without elastomeric material bonded to the fabric. The fabric material of the glove blank can be made from one or more fabrics, a treated fabric, a coated fabric or combinations thereof, or the fabric may have a portion with a coating on an area without elastomeric material.
WENZEL-CASSIE GLOVE
A glove with an enhanced gripping textured surface is disclosed herein. In preferred embodiments, the glove contains a palm region adapted to cover the palm of a person's hand, a thumb region extending outwardly from the palm region, an index finger region disposed adjacent the thumb region, a middle finger region adjacent the index finger region, a ring finger region adjacent the middle finger region, and a little finger region adjacent the ring finger region with each region containing a textured surface. In preferred embodiments, the textured surface is formed by a plurality of dimensionally hierarchical structures superimposed in layers. The textured surface of the invention, when in contact with wet tissue, repels water at a first texture layer and traps tissue at a second texture layer, such that when in tissue contact, especially exudative tissue, tissue fixatively localizes to the glove surface.
DRUG RESISTANT GLOVE
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove is fabricated of nitrile which is resistant to toxic or corrosive substances. These substances include drugs mixed with opioids such as fentanyl and carfentanil. The fingertip regions on the glove may be of a reduced circumference so as to pull the glove material therein tightly around the tips of a user's fingers and thumb. The reduced circumferences fingertip regions helps the user to detect even a faint pulse in a patient. The glove includes a first color exterior surface and a second color interior surface. The first and second colors contrast with one another and this feature serves as a tear indicator to the user.
Protective device for use with a glove having textured grip
A glove has a protective member in the thumb-crotch region and includes a textured outer surface. The protective member is configured to protected against slicing done by sharp objects. The textured outer surface enables grip ability in greasy environments. The textured outer surface may be formed via a foaming process during manufacture of the glove. There may be a colored layer between an inner liner and the protective member that establishes a color splash effect in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails.
APPAREL ARTICLE WITH TEXTURED GRIP
An apparel article with a grip texture on an exterior surface formed by a grip field of a plurality of spaced-apart nodules extending from the exterior surface to a distal end and each defining a concave recess therein. The apparel article may comprise (i) a glove body having a cuff with an open end and a hand portion from which four finger tubes and a thumb tube extend, for receiving a hand, and the exterior surface having at least one grip field for gripping an article and (2) a shoe cover with a sole having the grip field for resisting slippage on walking surfaces.
GLOVE HAVING DISCREET GRIPPING ZONES IN ONE OF THE PALM REGION AND WRIST REGION
A glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a plurality of digit regions. A gripping zone is provided on one or both of the palm region and wrist region. The gripping zone includes concave indentations formed in the glove material which project into the glove's interior cavity. The glove's circumference extending through the gripping zone is reduced. When performing a task while wearing the glove, frictional contact between the gripping zone and the person's skin tends to resist movement of the palm or wrist region relative to the person's hand. This helps to keep the digit regions of the glove in sufficient contact with the user's fingers and thumb to maintain tactile sensitivity and dexterity, even when the glove is worn for an extended period of time.
Protective glove with enhanced exterior sections
A protective glove includes a primary yarn that forms the palm, thumb and finger sections of the glove. The primary yarn has an interior surface forming the interior surface of the glove, and an exterior surface forming the exterior surface of the glove. A plaiting yarn can be plaited to portions of the exterior surface of the primary yarn to form a plurality of enhanced sections on the exterior surface of the glove. The enhanced sections can have at least one substantially enhanced physical characteristic in relation to the primary layer.
GLOVE CONFORMING TO HANDS OF VARIOUS SIZES
A glove has a palm side and a back side joined at a side edge and a number of sections including a palm part, a finger part and a thumb part. The component parts connect and stretch material is used in certain areas of the glove to make the glove adjust to varying hand sizes.
