COMBINATION SWITCH LEVER

A combination switch lever includes a cylinder body including an opening, a plurality of switches to operate an electric component disposed in the vehicle, a flexible board that is disposed inside the cylinder body and that includes a circuit part and a non-circuit part disposed outside the circuit part in a width direction, and a first guide member and a second guide member that are disposed inside the cylinder body so as to be opposite to each other sandwiching the flexible board. An inside projection is formed at a vicinity of the opening of the cylinder body on an opposite surface of the first guide member and/or the second guide member, and the inside projection presses the non-circuit part. The first guide member and the second guide member include an adjacent opposite surface such that an opposite distance therebetween is partially narrowed.

Vehicle having a gearshift element arranged on the steering wheel

A vehicle has a transmission and a gearshift element pivotally arranged on a steering wheel of the vehicle. By actuating the gearshift element, the transmission is shiftable in an electrically controlled manner from one transmission gear to a next-higher or a next-lower transmission gear. At least one electric switch element and/or at least one optical display device is arranged on the gearshift element.

A lever device in which a lid is mounted to an opening portion of a lever member without dropping down therefrom and with a good visual quality is disclosed. The lever device comprises a lever member swingably supported in a fixed system, an opening portion provided in the lever member to open in a radial direction, and a lid that is engaged to the opening portion to cover the opening portion therewith, wherein the lid is provided with a thin portion. Deflections are generated in such a manner as to concentrate on the thin portion of the lid.

Steering column switch for a motor vehicle

A steering column switch includes a switch lever, a switch piece, a slide, a magnet, and a magnet sensor. The switch lever is pivotable in perpendicular directions. The switch piece is pivotable about the first axis. The switch lever has an end piece pivotably mounted in the switch piece so that the switch lever is pivotable about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The end piece bears a latching sleeve that is engageable into a detent cam at different positions. The slide is mounted on the switch piece so that the slide is linearly displaceable parallel to the first axis and follows switch lever movement about the second axis. The magnet and the magnet sensor are positionable relative to one another via switch lever movements. The magnet is connected to the slide and swivels with the switch piece as the switch piece swivels about the first axis.

ROTATIONAL MOVEMENT DETECTION DEVICE

A steering column assembly includes a steering column having a longitudinal axis; and a lever. The lever includes a first end and a second end. The second end of the lever is attached to the steering column. A hinge is disposed between the first end and the second end of the lever. The first end of the lever is biased away from the steering column in a first condition and folded at the hinge towards the steering column in a second condition.

Case-equipped mechanism device

Ribs formed on two sides of a case are press-fitted into grooves formed in the holding faces of a holding member. Two case bodies constituting the case have rib divisions formed by dividing ribs in their longitudinal directions. Accordingly, the two case bodies are brought into contact with each other in a wide range on the divided surfaces of the rib divisions, the divided surfaces extending in the longitudinal directions. When the ribs are press-fitted into the grooves, the divided surfaces in contact with each other are brought into pressure-contact with each other in a wide range.

A vehicle headlight control system, includes: an operation section configured to adopt a first position and a second position by being rotated with respect to a lever body; a biasing section that returns the operation section to the first position; and a processor coupled to a memory, the processor configured to enable control of vehicle sidelights and low-beam headlights; a first display portion that indicates a relative position of the operation section with respect to the lever body; and a second display portion that is adjacent to the first display portion in a case in which the operation section is at the first position, and that indicates either being in an automatic illumination state in which the illumination state of the vehicle sidelights and the low-beam headlights is switchable automatically or being in a vehicle sidelight illumination state in which the vehicle sidelights are illuminated.

STEERING COLUMN SWITCH FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A steering column switch for a motor vehicle includes a steering column switch housing, a switch lever, a switch gate, a spring-loaded locking pin, a locking pin sleeve, and a support part. The switch lever is pivotably mounted on the housing. The switch lever is a one-armed lever having an actuating lever arm that is pivotable against a restoring force from a stable neutral position into functional positions. A switch function is enabled upon reaching each functional position. The switch gate and the spring-loaded locking pin are inside the actuating lever arm. The spring-loaded locking pin is guided in the switch gate and brings about the restoring force. The locking pin sleeve is fixedly connected to the actuating lever arm. The support part is affixed to the housing. The spring-loaded locking pin is accommodated in the locking pin sleeve and the switch gate is fixedly connected to the support part.
