Partial glove for protection of touchscreens
The invention is directed to a partial glove for the protection of a touchscreen. The partial glove comprises a pair of independent finger sleeves which slide over the index and middle finger, as well as a thumb sleeve which slides over the thumb and wraps around the ball of the hand, to be secured by a patch of hook-and-loop fabric. This prevents soiling and damage of the touchscreen. The partial glove is preferably manufactured from a breathable fabric mesh, except for three elliptical pads on the tips of the fingers and thumb. The pads are preferably manufactured from a smooth, solid material such as leather.
Glove
A glove includes a first part to cover the back side of a hand and a second part to cover the palm side of the hand. The first part and the second part form a space for placing the hand. The first part includes an outermost flame retardant polyester spandex layer, a thermoplastic polyurethane waterproof membrane adjacent to the flame retardant polyester spandex layer, an innermost cotton polyester knit layer, and a dual density pad layer made of ethylene vinyl acetate and low density polyethylene sandwiched between the thermoplastic polyurethane waterproof membrane and the cotton polyester knit layer.
Shooting Glove
The shooting gloves of this invention improves the shooter's ability to maintain the proper grip and hand orientation on a handgun. The shooting gloves have select areas on the outside of the glove covered by a viscid coating or sections of material that provide a tacky surface texture to the gloves. The viscid areas are strategically located on the gloves so that the viscid areas of the opposite glove contact each other when the shooter takes a conventional two handed grip of a handgun. The contacting viscid areas provide enhanced tactile feel and increased mechanical friction between the gloves that helps the shooter maintain the proper grip and hand position as the handgun is discharged. It should be noted that the viscid areas are located on the gloves not so as to directly contact the handgun, but are located on the gloves to directly contact corresponding or mating viscid areas of the other glove. The viscid areas of both right and left handed gloves are symmetrical, which allows the pair to be used by either right or left handed shooters.
Glove with removable fingertips
A glove, having a finger sheath comprising multiple pieces of fabric held together by seams; and reinforcements for the seams so that part of the sheath can be removed by cutting without the seams unraveling.
Garments, gloves and personal protective equipment enchanced with metal nanoparticle agglomerates
Metal nanoparticle agglomerates may aid in promoting infection control over an extended period of time when adhered to a touch or contact surface of personal protective equipment, such as gloves or garments. Gloves may comprise a body having one or more touch surfaces when worn, and metal nanoparticle agglomerates adhered to a material defining the one or more touch surfaces. The gloves may further comprise an identifying tag associated with the material. The identifying tag may be electronically identifiable, which may track, for example, how long the gloves have been in use, whether the gloves have been worn, conditions under which the gloves have been worn, and/or locations where the gloves have been worn. Other personal protective equipment and garments may similarly comprise metal nanoparticle agglomerates adhered to at least a portion of a material shaped for wear, optionally including an identifying tag associated with the material.
