A closure for a container comprises a base and a cap comprising a top member and a body member; and a connecting member extending between and connecting the base and the cap, the cap being mobile between a first, closed position and a second, opened position, the body member further comprising a recess in the body member where the connecting member is fastened along a first hinge to the recess at a side thereof proximate to the top member, such that when the cap is disposed in the first, closed position the connecting member lies within the recess substantially flush with an exterior surface of the body member; the connecting member being capable of rotating through at least 90 about the first hinge in which the connecting member comprises a plurality of intermediate hinges providing rotation of the connecting member over a deflection of at least 270.

A fitment including a fitment body and a peripheral mount engaged with the fitment body. The fitment includes a timer and a spout oriented at an angle with respect to the mounting plane of the peripheral mount.

Disclosed herein are tethered cap and spout combinations. The tethered cap and spout combinations prevent loss of the cap after opening. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms for puncturing or opening a seal that may be present at a throat or neck of the container which provides both an anti-tampering and freshness function. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide anti-tampering mechanisms. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms to hold an opened and tethered cap away from the container opening during use.

A flip-top tube (1), for example for cream, includes a tubular body (2) having a mouth (22), a cap (18) having a tab (70), and a label film (4) which at least partially wraps the tubular body and covers the tab (70) of the cap (18) to form a tamper-evident seal suitable for indicating the first opening of the tube.

A mold can form a one-piece container closure by injection molding. The closure may have a base portion that inwardly defines an opening centered about a base portion longitudinal axis and a hinged cap that is linked to the base portion by an outside hinge member. The hinge member may have two opposite ends that are respectively connected to the base portion and the cap, thus defining an elongated hinge member therebetween. A mold may include two parts which respectively define two internal cavities facing each other along a longitudinal axis of alignment that coincides with the base portion longitudinal axis. The two mold parts my be movable along the longitudinal axis of alignment between a closed position where they define together a mold jointing plane and an open position where they are spaced apart from each other for demolding the closure.

A beverage container assembly has a container with an opening and a lid that closes the opening. The lid has a mouthpiece that extends laterally outwardly of the container to allow a person's head to remain upright or erect (i.e., minimizing or no head tilt movement) while drinking so as to not impede the user's straight-ahead vision, such as while driving. The mouthpiece is configured so that the container becomes disposed at one side of the nose so that the container is tiltable further as the nose does not interfere with the tilting action.

Disclosed herein is a dispensing assembly for dispensing flowable material from a container. The dispensing assembly has a spout that communicates with the flowable material and defines a spout retention element. The assembly further has a cap configured to releasably attach to the spout. The cap has a first collar and a second collar, the first collar defining a cap retention element. The cap retention element is configured to contact the spout retention element such that the cap is affixed to the spout, and the engagement between the cap retention element and the spout retention element is reversible, such that the cap is removed from contacting the spout.

A drinking cup lid, comprising: a center cover portion; a rib ring formed at the external circumferential edge of the center cover portion, the rib ring having a drinking recess, the external edge of the drinking recess being open while an insertion opening is disposed at the internal edge thereof, the bottom surface of the drinking recess being provided with a drinking opening; a vent hole formed in the center cover portion or in the rib ring; a snap ring portion formed at the external circumferential edge of the rib ring for a snap fit to the drinking cup; and a plug connected by a flexible strip in a hanging way to the external circumferential edge of the snap ring portion, the plug having a plug portion, a hand-held portion and an insert portion. Before use, the insert portion of the plug is fitted first into the insertion opening. Thereafter, the plug portion is fitted to the drinking opening. In this way, the laborious plug-and-pull problem of the conventional splash proof plug is resolved. As a result, the splash proof plug according to the invention can achieve an effort-saving plug-and-pull effect.

A lift top cap for bottles and the like adapted to be used on liquid filled bottle allowing selective directional access through cap base portion having a limited access opening with internal one way sealing. The flip top cap has a raised central portion registerable with the enabled access opening. A flexible insert slot defines the access cap base opening with a spring urged one way valve mounted there with for sealing registration with access opening when not accessed.

A scaling and dispensing structure for a container for storing and dispensing cleaning articles includes a scaling and dispensing structure. The sealing and dispensing structure includes a floor defining a bottom of the sealing and dispensing structure and a perimetric flange adjoined to the floor at an interior bottom. The perimetric flange and the floor at least partially defining a side and a bottom of a dispensing compartment. The sealing and dispensing structure further includes a dispensing orifice extending through the floor for individually dispensing the cleaning articles into the dispensing compartment and an access orifice extending through at least a portion of the floor for accessing the cleaning articles stored in the container. The scaling and dispensing structure also includes an outer lid having a size and shape adapted to mate with and seal an interior top of the perimetric flange and form a top of the dispensing compartment when in a closed position and an inner lid having a size and shape adapted to mate with and seal the access orifice and form at least a portion of a bottom of the dispensing compartment when in a closed position.
