RESEALABLE CONTAININER INCLUDING EASY OPEN TAB
A container comprises a housing that comprises a box and a lid that is hingedly attached to the box. The lid comprises a bottom edge. The box comprises a front wall and a rear wall. The container also comprises an inner package disposed at least partially within the housing and at least partially defining an interior volume for housing consumer goods. The inner package is configured to open and close when the lid of the housing is opened and closed. The inner package comprises an access opening and a sealing flap. The sealing flap comprises a tab that has a bottom edge. The bottom edge of the tab is positioned below the bottom edge of the lid when the lid is in a closed position.
Container For Consumer Goods With Reclosable Flap
A container for consumer goods, such as smoking articles, includes an outer housing with a hinged lid that houses an inner package of consumer goods. The inner package has an access opening through which consumer goods can be removed and that is covered by a reclosable flap, which is attached to a first lid panel that is relatively movable to a second lid panel throughout rotation of the lid between lid open and closed positions. Blanks for forming the outer housing and a method of forming the container are also provided.
Container with a bevelled edge and an adjacent transverse curved edge
A container for consumer goods and a laminar blank (300) for forming such a container. The laminar blank defines a portion of the container, which comprises: a first planar wall (322); a second planar wall (314) connected to the first planar wall (322) by a first modified edge portion (3140) forming a bevelled edge portion of the container; and a third planar wall (316) connected to the first planar wall (322) by a second modified edge portion (3130) forming a curved edge portion of the container. The longitudinal direction of the first modified edge portion (3140) being transverse to the longitudinal direction of the second modified edge portion (3130); the first modified edge portion (3140) and the second modified edge portion (3130) forming, when the container is assembled from the laminar blank, adjacent edge portions of the container meeting at a junction.
Creased blank for forming a container with round or beveled corners
A blank (300) for forming a container for consumer articles comprises panels (308, 309, 312, 314) for forming corresponding walls of the container. First side panels (311) extend from the rear wall panel (312) and second side panels (310) extend from the front wall panel (308). When assembling the container, the first and the second side panels overlap to form at least part of left and right side walls. The first side panels or the second side panels or both are connected to the respective one of the rear wall panel and the front wall panel by modified edge portions (3100, 3110, 3120, 3130). The blank comprises a pair of flaps extending from the first side panels or the second side panels or both.
Method and apparatus for producing packs for cigarettes, and pack for cigarettes
A method for producing packs for cigarettes, in which at least one group of cigarettes is wrapped in an inner wrapper and is introduced into a pocket of a folding turret and therein is packed in a blank for the pack, and a corresponding apparatus and to a pack for cigarettes. At least one dimension of the at least one cigarette group does not correspond to the respective dimension of the interior space of the pack, the at least one deviating dimension is equalized by at least one filler piece, and the at least one filler piece is wrapped in the inner wrapper conjointly with at least one cigarette group.
Package
The present invention relates to packaging for tobacco industry products and, more particularly, packages comprising a label having a tab. A package comprises a barrier material for enclosing one or more tobacco industry products, the barrier material having a region which, in use, forms an aperture, and a label formed from two or more layers which overlie the region, the label having a tab formed from one or more layers, but not all layers, of the two or more layers of the label.
Round corner container
A container for consumer articles is at least partially formed from a blank defining a portion of the container, which comprises a first and a second planar walls connected to one another by a curved edge portion. An inner surface of the curved edge portion defines an ablation area (A) having a length (L) in the longitudinal direction of the curved edge portion and a width (W) that extends along the curve of the curved edge portion. The ablation area comprises a plurality of pairs of ablation lines, all of which extend in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the curved edge portion. The distance (X) between two ablated zones in each pair as measured along the width (W) of the ablation area is less than the distance (Y) between two adjacent pairs of ablated zones as measured along the width (W) of the ablation area.
Package
The invention relates to packaging for tobacco industry products and, particularly but not exclusively, to packages including a label having a tab. A barrier material encloses one or more tobacco industry products and has a region which, in use, forms an aperture over which is positioned the label. The tab at least partially overlies the region.
PACKAGE FOR SMOKING ARTICLES
The present invention relates to a package for smoking articles comprising a container portion and a lid hingedly connected to the container portion about a hinge line. The container portion has an inner frame and an outer frame. The lid includes an end portion and a lid wall extending from the end portion that overlaps a container wall of the container portion when closed, the container wall having a locking element that locates over a corresponding locking part on the lid wall and a recess formed in the inner frame extending from an upper edge of the inner frame. In one embodiment, a lower edge of the recess is spaced further from the upper edge of the container wall than the locking element. In another embodiment, the recess extends into the second container wall.
PACKAGE FOR SMOKING ARTICLES
A package for storing smoking articles includes a body having a plurality of walls defining a volume, including a front wall and a rear wall, and an opening; a lid for closing the opening and having a plurality of walls and being hinged on the rear wall, allowing the lid to be moved between closed and open positions; a locking tab; and an engagement recess for engaging the locking tab when the lid is in the closed position. The locking tab is connected to one of either the front wall of the body or an inner side of a front wall of the lid, and the engagement recess is located on the other one. The locking tab and the engagement recess each have a respective engagement edge for mutual engagement. The engagement edge of at least one of the locking tab and the engagement recess follows a curved line.
