Abstract:

An apparatus for supplying a welding tip of a welder and an apparatus for replacing the same include a fixed bracket secured to a support. The apparatus includes an actuator coupled to the fixed bracket and a first moving member moved by the actuator. A second moving member is coupled to the first moving member and hingedly coupled to the fixed bracket. A third moving member is hingedly coupled to the second moving member. A first welding tip removal member is coupled to the third moving member to separate a welding tip coupled to a shank. A fourth moving member is disposed opposite to the first moving member. A fifth moving member is coupled to the fourth moving member and hingedly coupled to the fixed bracket. A sixth moving member is coupled to the fifth moving member. A second welding tip removal member is coupled to the sixth moving member.

A circular distribution apparatus for distributing loose products has a top portion (17) with an inlet (19) positioned centrally relative to a vertical central axis, a base portion (7) comprising an annular horizontal floor (11); a plurality of openable and closable outlets (23) provided in the annular floor (11); a side wall (9) surrounding entirely the annular floor (11); a central elevation (13) disposed between the annular floor (11) and the inlet (19); and a vibrator (51) configured to vibrate the base portion (7) so that products received on the base portion (7) circulate around the elevation (13) on the annular floor (11). The top portion (17); the elevation (13); the annular floor (11); and the side wall (9) provide a housing (3) comprising a distribution chamber (5), where at least the elevation (13), the annular floor (11) and the side wall (9) are provided integrally.

Discrete object singulation

A vibratory tablet feeder includes a reservoir for storing a supply of tablets with a pathway that leads to an exit opening for discharging tablets therefrom. Vibration of the reservoir moves tablets as a flow of tablets along the pathway to the exit opening. The feeder can include a wiper spaced vertically from the pathway. The wiper has a wiping surface that is configured to guide at least one vertically-bunched tablet in the flow of tablets away from the exit opening for return to the reservoir in order to provide singulated flow of tablets at the exit opening. A portion of the pathway may define a chamfered edge that is configured to guide at least one horizontally-bunched tablet in the flow of tablets away from the exit opening for return to the reservoir in order to provide singulated flow of tablets at the exit opening.

Crimping machine

A crimping machine includes a storage arrangement having a plurality of feeding bowls for separated contact elements. The crimping machine further includes a device for transporting the contact elements to a crimp head. At least some of the feeding bowls are designed with a common vibration driver and can be driven via a common control unit.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FEEDING WORKPIECES TO A MANUFACTURING LINE

Computer-implemented methods and systems for feeding workpieces to a manufacturing line are provided. An example method involves operating at least one processor to: receive, from at least one image device proximal to a bowl feeder, a sequence of images of workpieces within the bowl feeder; determine a flow velocity of the workpieces within the bowl feeder; generate bowl feeder control settings by applying the flow velocity to a predictive model; and automatically apply the bowl feeder control settings to the bowl feeder. Computer-implemented methods and systems for predicting anomalies in a manufacturing line are also provided. An example method involves operating at least one processor to: receive a sequence of images of workpieces in the manufacturing line; extract feature data from the sequence of images; apply the feature data to a predictive model to detect anomalies in the manufacturing line; and generate annotations to locate the anomalies within the images.
