JAM RESISTANT CHALK REEL
A chalk reel includes a housing defining a chalk chamber and an opening from the chalk chamber; a spool positioned within the chalk chamber; and a line wound on the spool and extending through the opening, the line having a width of dimension X. The spool comprises an axial hub and a sidewall. The sidewall comprises a plurality of apertures extending through the sidewall from a first face distal from the axial hub to a second face proximal to the axial hub. Each of the plurality of apertures having a maximum width of dimension Y. The dimension Y is less than or approximately equal to twice the dimension X.
Retractable duck decoy weight
A weight retraction device for use with a waterfowl decoy includes a housing having a spool rotatably coupled thereto. A weight is attached to a line that is wound around the spool. Rotation of the spool in a first rotational direction causing an unwinding of the line from the spool to cause the weight to extend away from the housing while rotation of the spool in a second rotational direction causing a rewinding of the line back onto the spool to cause the weight to retract back towards the housing. A power spring is configured to urge the spool to rotate in the second rotational direction. A lock release mechanism is configured to normally be in a locked configuration for preventing an undesired rotation of the spool in the second rotational direction. A manual actuation of the lock release mechanism releases the locked configuration of the lock release mechanism.
Lanyard with Locking Arm
A lanyard having a locking mechanism is provided. The lanyard locking mechanism actuates between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the lanyard spool is restricted from rotating, and in the unlocked position, the lanyard spool is permitted to rotate with reduced interference from the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes biasing components that bias the locking mechanism to remain stationary unless sufficient force is exerted.
CLOTHING DRYING DEVICE
A clothing drying device including: a rope having a rope main body and a grip portion provided at the tip of the rope main body; a main body storing the rope so that the rope can be polled out to the outside; and a receiving member provided independently of the main body and having a receiving member main body and a hook portion protruding from the receiving member main body, wherein the hook portion has an inner surface having an arc cross section and a pair of first flat surfaces provided on both sides sandwiching the inner surface, and the rope main body can be hooked so as to straddle at least one of the pair of first flat surfaces, and the inner surface.
Cable retractor
A cable retractor includes a housing. A spool is disposed within the housing and is mechanically coupled to the housing and rotatable about an axis. A spring mechanism is operatively attached to the spool and is configured to urge the spool to rotate in a first rotational direction about the axis. An electricity operated rotation regulator is operatively attached to the spool and is configured to, when activated, prevent the spool from rotating in the first rotational direction.
PET TRACTOR WITH STORAGE BIN AND STORAGE BIN OPENING CONTROL METHOD
A pet tractor with a storage bin and a storage bin opening control method. The pet tractor comprises a shell, a rotating wheel, a storage bin, a braking assembly and a locking assembly, wherein the rotating wheel is arranged on the shell, and a traction rope is arranged on the rotating wheel; the storage bin is arranged at one side of the shell; the braking assembly is arranged on the shell, is arranged above the rotating wheel and is used for limiting the rotation of the rotating wheel; the locking assembly is arranged on the shell, located at one side of the braking assembly and used for controlling the braking assembly to be in a braking state and controlling the storage bin to be opened and closed.
Adjustable closure devices with handle and locking mechanisms
Embodiments of the invention are directed to adjustable closure devices. One embodiment has a strap, a connector attached to a strap end, a chafe mounted on the strap behind the connector, and a hinged handle on the chafe. The chafe has a two outer bars and a central bar, these bars defining strap through-paths. The strap end-region has path segments arranged, directionally from the strap's central region toward the strap end at the chafe, or, in embodiments that configure the strap as a pulley, at the connector. An adjustable length region of the strap spans between the chafe and the connector. An elevatable handle configuration allows a user to pull the chafe to which it is connected along the strap, away from connector. As the chafe moves along the strap, the strap can transition between a large circumference configuration and small circumference. Some embodiments have a strap friction-locking mechanism associated with the handle and the chafe.

Chalk reel
A chalk reel is provided that includes a handgrip on housing supporting a chalk line extending from a nozzle of the housing that extends from the chalk reel to mark a straight line. The chalk reel may further include a rotatable handle that rotates to extend or retract (“pay out”) the chalk line. A hook is secured to the end of the chalk line to facilitate extension of the chalk line and prevent retraction of the chalk line end into the housing nozzle. The chalk reel may further include a transmission system with gearing and a selector to lock the gearing at locations around the handle rotation. The chalk reel may also include a large removable cap to facilitate refilling the chalk or other marking material.
