Strap Winding, Storage, And Dispensing Assembly
A strap winding, storage, and dispensing assembly for storing and dispensing a plurality of straps includes a spacing element engaged to and extending between a pair of plates. Each of a set of strap stowing units engaged to the pair of plates comprises a spindle having a winding element and a braking element operationally engaged thereto. The spindle can engage a respective end of a strap so that the strap is removably engaged to the spindle. The winding element is positioned to selectively rotate the spindle, in a first direction, to coil the strap therearound. The braking element is engaged to a respective one of the plates and is positioned to selectively engage the spindle, to prevent rotation thereof, to retain the strap therearound. The braking element also is positioned to selectively disengage the spindle so that the spindle can rotate in a second direction to uncoil the strap.
Fastening device
A fastening device including a case unit, a knob and an engaging unit is provided. The case unit includes a wall forming a receiving space and a plurality of mounting teeth. The knob covers on the case unit. The engaging unit is within the receiving space. The engaging unit corresponds to the mounting teeth and is selectively coupled to the knob. The knob is switched between a first position and a second position. When the knob is in the first position to couple to the engaging unit, the engaging unit is linked up with the knob and the engaging unit is engaged with the mounting teeth to prohibit the knob from rotating in a first direction, and when the knob is in the second position to disengage from the engaging unit, the engaging unit does not prohibit the knob from rotating in the first direction.
Seamless Hoist
The invention provides a hoist mechanism for a backdrop as used in the photographic setting. The hoist uses two vertical channels, each having and upper and a lower pull around which a belt is attached. A bracket, secured to the belt, is used to secure a roller of the backdrop thereto. A connecting rod, secured to the lower pullies of the vertical channels, is used to keep the two belts operating in concert. A hand crank, secured to the connecting rod, permits the operator to move the two brackets up/down which moves the a roller having the backdrop in like fashion.
One-piece hose guide for hose reel deck box
A hose guide for a hose reel deck box is provided. More specifically, the hose guide is a one piece, or unitary body, component. The unitary body hose guide is structured to snap-fit to one or two travel bars that are part of the unitary body of the hose reel deck box housing assembly. The hose guide preferably includes two semi-enclosed passages that are structured to be slidably coupled to the travel bars.
FISH TAPE ASSEMBLY
A fish tape assembly includes a fish tape tool including a housing, a chamber defined in the housing and a motor supported by the housing. The fish tape assembly also includes a fish tape drum configured to be inserted into the chamber of the housing. The fish tape drum contains a type of fish tape and includes a rotatable drum portion configured to rotate in response to receiving torque from the motor. The fish tape tool includes a sensor configured to detect the type of fish tape in the fish tape drum inserted into the chamber of the housing.
Hose Reel Unit and Hose Reel Assembly Comprising a Hose Reel Unit
A hose reel unit for a high-pressure washer has a hose reel and a reel hose arranged in its receptacle. The hose reel is rotatable about an axis of rotation for winding and unwinding the reel hose. The first end of the reel hose is connectable to a supply line and the second end to a washer wand of the high-pressure washer. The hose reel has sidewalls delimiting the receptacle in a direction of the axis of rotation. The first end of the reel hose extends to the first sidewall and is coaxial to the axis of rotation. A guide device arranged between the sidewalls guides the reel hose such that the axis of rotation extends through the reel hose. The guide device is spaced apart form the first end of the reel hose at a support distance measured in a direction of the axis of rotation.
SITE LIGHT
A site light including a body, an arm coupled to the body having an adjustable arm length, a light assembly coupled to the arm opposite the body, and a drive assembly configured to alter the arm length. The drive assembly, in turn, includes a drive wheel mounted for rotation with respect to the body, an idle wheel mounted for rotation with respect to the body, and a biasing member configured to bias the idle wheel toward the drive wheel. The site light also includes a cable coupled to the arm where the cable is positioned between and engaged by both the drive wheel and the idle wheel.
Hose or cable reel winder
A hose or cable reel winder provides a handle for winding hose or cable onto a stationary reel and facilitates an orderly winding onto the reel. A guide is attached to an arm and the arm is free to rotate with respect to the stationary reel. The handle rotates in the guide allowing a user to wind hose or cable onto the stationary reel, and slides into and out of the guide to facilitate the orderly winding of the hose or cable onto the reel. The stationary reel does not require couplings between fixed source hoses or cables and a rotating reel, and allows releasing and collecting pairs or groups of hoses or cables.
Crossbow with built in cranking mechanism
A crossbow with a built in cranking mechanism preferably includes a crank shaft, a one way bearing, a clutch, a reel shaft, a driven gear and at least one reel. The clutch preferably includes a clutch housing, a clutch pack and a pressure washer installed in a frame or stock of the crossbow. The clutch housing includes a clutch pack housing and a drive gear. The one way bearing and the clutch are retained on the crank shaft. A hand knob is threaded on to the crank shaft to exert pressure on the clutch pack. The driven gear is pressed on to the reel shaft. The at least one reel is retained on at least one end of the reel shaft. The hand knob is tightened against the clutch pack to frictionally engage the crank shaft with the drive gear. The drive gear rotates the at least one reel.
Site light
A site light includes a body, an arm coupled to the body having an adjustable arm length, a light assembly coupled to the arm opposite the body, and a drive mechanism with a crank arm rotatable about a first axis. Rotating the crank arm in a first direction causes the arm length to increase. Rotating the crank arm in a second direction causes the arm length to decrease. The drive mechanism is adjustable between a first configuration, where the crank arm can only rotate in the first direction, and a second configuration, where the crank arm can be rotated in the first direction and the second direction.
