Zipper assembly

A zipper assembly includes various elements, such as a zipper-slider body and a zipper puller. The zipper puller can be gripped when manually traversing the zipper-slider body along zipper-teeth assemblies, such as when releasably fastening portions or edges of an article together. In addition, the zipper puller includes one or more additional hooking loops that releasably attach onto other surfaces or items.

The scarf is formed of a piece of soft and heavy fabric sewn into the form of a tube with a tube centerline (36) that extends 360 around the wearer's neck. The front (72) of the tube drapes in a plurality of folds on the chest (24) of the wearer to conceal a slit (50) in the tube that can be zipped open and through which the wearer has access to the inside of the tube. To encourage the scarf to lie in multiple folds on the chest, the tube has a taller front end (72) than rear end (73).

The panel may be secured between the two layers of the trim piece at a first edge, and the incised opening may be formed proximate to the first edge such that the article comprises a pocket presented proximate to the trim piece. The present invention further comprises a method of manufacturing the article including a pocket presented proximate to the trim piece.

Techniques are disclosed for producing a pocket square. The pocket square may include a single layer or may include multiple layers. In some embodiments, the pocket square may include a first layer having a length and width. The first layer may be attached to a second layer configured to have the same length and width as the first layer. Disposed between the first layer and the second layer there may be a third layer configured to maintain a desired shape of the pocket square. In some embodiments, the third layer comprises at least one of: a polymeric material, a non-polymeric material, a metallic mesh, a metallic foil, a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, and/or a fabric infiltrated with a polymer.

Method and garment for assisting a wearer with regulating body temperature

A temperature-regulating garment is provided for assisting a user with regulating body temperature. A garment body has first and second major garment body edges. The garment body has a neckline formed by a least a portion of the first major garment body edge. The garment body has a front right panel, a front left panel, and a back panel. At least one armhole is located laterally between the back panel and a selected one of the right front panel and the left front panel. First and second neck pockets are each configured to accept a temperature-regulating pack. The first neck pocket is disposed upon at least one of the right front panel and the back panel, spanning the first major garment body edge. The second neck pocket is disposed upon at least one of the left front panel and the back panel, spanning the first major garment body edge.

A protective pocket is provided for a substantially two-dimensional object, such as a race bib. The protective pocket includes cooperating first and second lightweight fabrics, and an opening for receiving the object. The first fabric may be an item of a race participant's apparel or a backing that itself is attached to such an apparel item. The second fabric may be a mesh member having spaced apertures through which the object is visible and exposed to elements. The first and second fabrics may be removeably secured to one another. The protective pocket is configured to maintain the object in a substantially vertical planar orientation, and thereby in an upright position, such that it that is (a) substantially parallel to the plane defined by the adjacent surface of the race participant's apparel item, and (b) substantially parallel to the plane defined by the adjacent body part of the race participant (e.g., a torso or leg). This positioning also improves the visibility of the indicia printed on the object through the mesh member. Methods of providing a memento from a competitive athletic event using the protective pockets are also disclosed herein.

Material reinforcement is added where the garment covers the wearer's body in at least two of the wearer's crotch, knees, elbows, and forearms. The garment can include a dispenser for storing and dispensing hygienic towels, with an outer impermeable layer to inhibit moisture loss from within the dispenser. The hygienic system can include a permeable bag for garment storage and garment sanitizing without removal from the bag during laundering.
