Pulse Welding Method and Welding Tool for Pulse Welding for a Medical Pack Formed As a Bag
The invention relates to a welding tool and a method for pulse welding films of plastic for medical packs formed as bags. The invention generally provides for the film material that has been plastified during welding, and is consequently free-flowing, to be specifically displaced by increasing the sealing surface area. The displaced film material can for instance compensate for dimensional and form tolerances. At the same time, however, the strength of the welded seam region, which adjoins the interior space of the bag, is not reduced.
Fitment with ethylene/α-olefin multi-block copolymer
A fitment is provided and includes a top portion, a base, and a channel extending through the top portion and the base for passage of a flowable material. The base includes a pair of opposing sidewalls. The sidewalls extend around the channel. The sidewalls are joined together at opposing ends. The fitment further includes at least one sealing rib extending along the sidewalls. The sealing rib includes an ethylene/-olefin multi-block copolymer.
Spout fitment apparatus for a flexible container
A spout fitment has a spout for dispensing liquid into or out of a flexible container, the spout passing through a base portion that is connected to attachment ribs for sealing to the flexible container. The attachment ribs can contain a sharp edge to facilitate improved adhesion of the flexible container to the attachment ribs of the spout fitment. The attachment ribs can also contain a beveled edge that can provide mechanical support to the attachment sites between the spout fitment and the flexible container. Other embodiments can include a base portion having lateral attachment walls containing a series of elevated ridges that provide extended areas of focal contact between the spout fitment and the flexible container. The base portion can include one or more pockets for holding and manipulating the spout fitment while it is attached to the flexible container.
Fitment with Blend Component and Flexible Container with Same
The present disclosure provides a fitment. In an embodiment, a fitment is provided and includes a top portion, a base, and a channel extending through the top portion and the base for passage of a flowable material. The fitment is composed of a polymeric composition. The polymeric composition includes (i) from 70 to 90 weight percent of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a density from 0.940 g/cc to 0.970 g/cc, a melt temperature, Tm, greater than 125 C., and a melt index from 1 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min; and (ii) from 30 to 10 weight percent of an oletin based elastomer having a density from 0.860 g/cc to 0.905 g/cc, a melt index from 0.2 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min, and a Tm less than 125 C.
DEVICE FOR FILLING A BAG, BAG CONTOUR SEALING TOOL, SEALING TOOL, METHOD FOR FILLING A BAG, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BAG, SYSTEM AND BAG
The invention relates to a device for filling a bag, a bag contour welding tool for manufacturing a bag, a welding tool for welding a bag, a method of filling a bag, a method of manufacturing a bag, a plant for manufacturing and filling a bag and to a bag which has been manufactured and filled with such a plant or which has been manufactured with a bag contour welding tool.
The invention allows a filling of a bag, in particular a bag for medical purposes, without the necessity of providing a filling port on the bag.
In this way, resources and costs can be saved, preventing damage to the environment.
DEVICE FOR EXTENDING A FILM AND FOR WELDING THE FILM TO A CONNECTION PART HAVING AN AXIAL DIRECTION, AND METHOD, PRODUCTION METHOD, SYSTEM, AND BAG
The invention relates to a device for welding a connection region of a film to a connection part having an axial direction. In the case of conventional devices, there is the risk of steep workpiece edges causing uncontrolled weak spots in the film and in the weld seam. According to the invention, the film is extended in a controlled manner such that the film has a length reserve. The film is extended in such a way that the film has a deformation cross-section that runs out such that the deformation is not visible on the final product. In this connection, the invention further relates to a use of a film, to a method for welding, to a method for producing bags, to a system for producing bags, and to a bag.
Production of collapsible pouches having a fitment
A production machine for the production of collapsible pouches having a fitment. The machine has a fitment sealing station with an impulse sealing device comprising a first jaw and a second jaw and with an actuator device configured to move the first and second jaws relative to one another between an opened position and a clamped position, as well as a cooling device configured to cool each of the first and second jaws. The fitment sealing station is configured to perform an impulse sealing cycle.
Container of a fluid
A container of a fluid including a collar having a passage and a pair of laminated film sheets heat-welded along perimetral welding lines so as to form a bag, the pair of sheets also being heat-welded to the collar so that the passage in the collar provides access to interior of the bag; the outer surface of the collar, in a zone in which the collar is welded to the pair of sheets has, seen in section, an oblong shape with two tapered ends aligned along at least one axis along which the pair of sheets are welded.
Port with Septum and Ethylene/a-Olefin Multi-Block Copolymer
The present disclosure provides a port. In an embodiment, a port is provided and includes (i) an optional top portion, (ii) a base, and a channel extending through the optional top portion and the base for passage of a flowable material, and (iii) a septum extending across the channel. The septum comprises an ethylene/?-olefin multi-block copolymer.
