In an embodiment, a roof airbag apparatus may include: a roof airbag cushion connected to an inflator, the roof airbag cushion configured to be disposed in a first folded state in a panorama roof, and to be inflated in a second expanded state and deployed as gas is supplied from the inflator; and a constraint connected to the roof airbag cushion configured to pull downward a distal end portion of the roof airbag cushion as it is being inflated to prevent reverse deployment of the roof airbag cushion.

Roof mounted partitioning airbag
An airbag assembly includes an airbag, roof mounting tethers, guide tethers and guides. The airbag when inflated has an upper part at a roof and a lower part above a floor and extends laterally across a vehicle interior. The roof mounting tethers are on a left side and a right side of the upper part. The guide tethers at a left side and a right side of the lower part connect to left and right guides. The guides are slidably engageable with first and second guide tracks.
Steering wheel assembly including an airbag tether
A steering wheel assembly for a vehicle includes a steering wheel and an airbag that is supported by the steering wheel. The airbag is inflatable away from the steering wheel in an inflation direction. An airbag tether includes a first end coupled to the steering wheel, and a second end spaced from the first end and coupled to the steering wheel. The airbag is disposed between the steering wheel and the airbag tether. During a frontal impact of the vehicle, the airbag tether may be positioned independent of steering wheel position to restrict inflation of the airbag adjacent a thorax of a driver of the vehicle.
SELF STANDING CENTER SIDE AIRBAG
A self standing center side airbag includes: an airbag cushion configured to be located at a side of an interior facing side of a seat back; a first through hole configured to penetrate through the airbag cushion and be located at a back with respect to a central line that bisects the airbag cushion in a front and back direction; a second through hole configured to penetrate through the airbag cushion and be located at a front with respect to the central line that bisects the airbag cushion in the front and back direction; and a tether configured to penetrate through the first through hole and the second through hole and have both ends fixed at the seat back side.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle airbag device, which includes a main cushion and an auxiliary cushion deploying from the main cushion and may more effectively protect both a passenger-seat passenger in a normal seating state and a passenger-seat passenger in a relaxed seating state even in the event of an oblique offset collision by differentiating the deployment of the auxiliary cushion by releasing or maintaining the connection of a tether connected to the auxiliary cushion during deployment of an airbag cushion.

A vehicle includes a vehicle roof and an airbag supported by the vehicle roof. The airbag is inflatable to an inflated position. The airbag defines an inflation chamber in the inflated position. The airbag includes a distal end below the vehicle roof in the inflated position. The vehicle includes an inflatable device supported by the vehicle roof. The inflatable device is a thermoplastic elastomer and inflatable to an inflated position. The inflatable device is in the inflation chamber of the airbag when the inflatable device and the airbag are in the inflated positions. The inflatable device includes a distal end in the inflation chamber of the airbag. The distal end of the inflatable device is below the vehicle roof and above the distal end of the airbag in the inflated position.
Airbag device and passenger protecting device
An airbag device has an airbag. The airbag has a front-rear chamber and an airbag main body. The front-rear chamber has a left and right pair of front-rear extending portions that pass by respective left and right sides of a head of a passenger seated in a vehicle seat and inflate and deploy toward the seat front side, and a connecting portion connecting front end portions of the pair of front-rear extending portions in a seat left-right direction. The airbag main body inflates and deploys toward a side of the passenger at a seat rear side of the connecting portion, later than the front-rear chamber. At a time when the passenger is restrained, the airbag main body is compressed in a seat front-rear direction while stretching the front-rear chamber in the seat front-rear direction.

A deployable restraint system includes an inflatable structure and a tether. The inflatable structure comprises a main chamber and a pair of auxiliary chambers coupled to the main chamber and sealed with respect to the main chamber. The tether is coupled to the inflatable structure via an anchor and configured to guide the anchor.
