PANORAMIC WINDOW SAFETY SYSTEM AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME
A panoramic window safety system applied to a vehicle moves a piston in a piston movement space of a piston carriage by a gas pressure of an inflator located on the bottom portion of a panoramic window space, and switches a wire that forms a side bending arrangement in the panoramic window space into an intermediate linear arrangement by a forward movement of the piston to be stood perpendicular to the panoramic window space to support an airbag covering the panoramic window space, preventing the risk of a passenger leaving when a panoramic window having the size at which the upper body of a passenger is exposed is damaged to meet the North American regulations that prescribe preventing the passenger from leaving.
CURTAIN AIRBAG APPARATUS HAVING TWIST PREVENTION STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates to a curtain airbag apparatus having a twist prevention structure, and it is possible to mark a strap line 300 extending in a straight shape on a strap part 210 of a tab strap 200 for fixing a curtain airbag cushion 100 folded in a roll form, and easily check whether the curtain airbag cushion 100 folded in the roll form is twisted with the naked eye through the strap line 300.
Roof airbag arrangement for a vehicle
A roof airbag arrangement includes an airbag, first and second guide rails, at least one first sliding member and at least one second sliding member. The airbag longitudinally extends along a length between first and second longitudinal sides and laterally extending along a width between first and second lateral sides. The first and second guide rails are on laterally opposite sides of the airbag, and define first and second channels, respectively. The at least one first sliding member is mounted within the first guide rail for translation within the first channel. The at least one second sliding member is mounted within the second guide rail for translation within the second channel. First and second pluralities of tethers connect the first lateral side of the airbag with the at least one first sliding member and the second lateral side of the airbag with the at least one second sliding member, respectively.
AIRBAG APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
An airbag apparatus for a vehicle, in which a lateral tether is disconnected or a front tether is disconnected, in the event of a collision accident, depending on whether a passenger seated in a passenger seat is in a normal seating state or a relaxed seating state, such that a deployed airbag cushion may effectively protect not only a passenger seated in the passenger seat in the normal seating state but also a passenger seated in the passenger seat in the relaxed seating state.
Occupant protection device
An occupant protection device includes: an airbag including an upper inflating portion and a lower inflating portion, and a rear inflating portion having a restraint surface that receives the occupant, the airbag being provided with a hollow portion penetrating in a left-right direction in a center; and a protrusion length adjustment unit configured to adjust a protrusion length from an accommodation position to the restraint surface in the airbag. An exhaust port configured to exhaust the inflation gas is disposed on an inner peripheral surface side in the vicinity of an intersection portion between the upper inflation portion and the lower inflation portion of the airbag. When the protrusion length by the protrusion length adjustment unit is adjusted to be long, the upper inflation portion and the lower inflation portion approach each other, so that an edge member approaches the exhaust port, thereby reducing an exhaust amount.
Side airbag for vehicles
Disclosed is a side airbag for vehicles including a first cushion coupled to one side of a seat, the first cushion extending from the side surface of the seat in a forward-rearward direction to cover a passenger at the side of the passenger when deployed, an inflator fixed to the seat, the inflator being configured to supply gas to the first cushion, a second cushion connected to the first cushion, the second cushion being bent from the first cushion toward the passenger and extending in a lateral direction, the second cushion being deployed by the gas supplied from the first cushion, and a support tether having one end fixedly coupled to the second cushion and the other end fixedly coupled to the seat, wherein the support tether is bent so as to be slidably coupled to the first cushion between one end and the other end thereof.
MULTI-CHAMBER CURTAIN AIRBAG
An assembly for a vehicle includes a roof and a headliner. The vehicle includes a seat having an occupant seating area. The vehicle includes a curtain airbag. The curtain airbag includes an extension. The curtain airbag is inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. The curtain airbag is between the roof and the headliner in the uninflated position. The curtain airbag is inflatable downwardly from the headliner to the inflated position. In the inflated position, the curtain airbag has a main chamber and the extension extending cross-vehicle from the main chamber and vehicle-forward of the occupant seating area.
AIR BAG DEVICE FOR CAR
An airbag device for a car may include an inflator positioned between first and second seats and generating an operating gas, a chamber part receiving the operating gas generated by the inflator and expanding between the first and second seats, a tether part connected to the chamber part to control a deployment shape of the chamber part, and a locking release part connected to the tether part at an inner surface or side surface of the chamber part which removes the connection to the tether part according to a control signal.
Actuator subassembly
The invention relates to an actuator subassembly for a vehicle safety system having a pin release actuator unit and a cradle bracket for holding the actuator unit and attaching to an airbag module. Further the invention relates to an airbag module with said actuator subassembly and a method of mounting a releasable tether on an airbag module by means of said actuator subassembly.
SIDE AIRBAG APPARATUS
A side airbag apparatus includes: an airbag cushion having a rear end configured to be secured to a side surface of a seat and a front end configured to move forwards while the airbag cushion is deployed forwards when gas is injected into the airbag cushion; at least one support tether having a first side coupled to a side surface of the seat to be rotatable about a rotating shaft extending in a direction parallel to a side of the seat, and extending in a longitudinal direction; and at least one outer tether having a first end coupled to a second side of the support tether, and a second end extending in the longitudinal direction and coupled to the front end of the airbag cushion.
