Connecting structure for connecting waterproof breathable and warm keeping fabrics
A connecting structure for connecting waterproof breathable and warm keeping fabrics includes: at least two pieces of fabric, a first adhesive layer, and a first waterproof rubberized layer. Each piece of fabric sequentially includes an inner mesh fabric layer, a breathable and waterproof layer, a breathable layer and an outer fabric layer. The breathable layer includes a plurality of air holes to communicate with the breathable and waterproof layer, the first adhesive layer is fixed to a connecting position of each pieces of fabric, and the first waterproof rubberized layer is fixed to the inner mesh fabric layer and coated with a second adhesive layer, so that the second adhesive layer and the first adhesive layer being adhered to each other, so as to connect the first waterproof rubberized layer to the at least two pieces of fabric.
SEAM TAPES INCLUDING FIBER BASED CIRCUITRY
Systems and methods which make use of metalized fabrics and threads as wiring by attaching them to clothing as a part of a seam tape. The attachment may occur at the seam through a seam tape which is already being used with the garment, or it may occur by attaching the seam tape to a seam, or simply a surface of the garment, to position the wiring in the desired location.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR EXERCISE
[Problem] To provide a body protection product such as a wetsuit that does not require a troublesome and time-consuming step such as machine sewing, does not cause discomfort for the wearer, and does not result in a loss to the degree of freedom in terms of design. [Solution] A wetsuit (10), in which a highly stretchable and elastic sheet-shaped fabric is draped so as to match the concave and convex features of the body shape of a wearer and a plurality of fabric pieces (11) are prepared, an adhesive (3) is applied to the draping surfaces of the fabric pieces (11), and the draping surfaces are then pressed against each other and joined without stitching, whereby a three-dimensional clothing base (1) is formed. Next, an adhesive (4) is applied to the surface of the clothing base and stretching is performed, whereby the surface of the clothing base is covered by a stretchable covering material (2) formed to match the shape of the clothing base (1). The clothing base (1) and the covering material (2) are compressed under heating and thereby made to adhere to each other.
Elastomeric articles having a welded seam made from a multi-layer film
Elastomeric articles, such as gloves, are made by welding together two plies of a multi-layer film. The film plies are welded together through ultrasonic bonding, thermal bonding, or mixtures thereof. The multi-layer film includes at least three layers that, in one embodiment, are coextruded. Each layer of the multi-layer film is made from a different composition that produces layers having different properties.
YARNS, THREADS, AND TEXTILES INCORPORATING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER MATERIAL
A yarn or thread may include a plurality of substantially aligned filaments, with at least ninety-five percent of a material of the filaments being a thermoplastic polymer material. Various woven textiles and knitted textiles may be formed from the yarn or thread. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be thermal bonded to other elements to form seams. A strand that is at least partially formed from a thermoplastic polymer material may extend through the seam, and the strand may be thermal bonded at the seam. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be shaped or molded, incorporated into products, and recycled to form other products.
CLOTHING ARTICLES ESPECIALLY USEFUL FOR AQUATIC ACTIVITIES
Clothing articles (e.g., aquatic board shorts) are generally comprised of at least one unitary woven fabric panel having multiple seamlessly adjacent different fabric weave sections. These seamlessly adjacent different fabric weave sections may be selected from plain fabric weaves, twill fabric weaves and/or Dobby fabric weaves. Aquatic activity shorts are provided which include a one piece rear fabric panel providing a seamless back rise.
Methods of joining textiles and other elements incorporating a thermoplastic polymer material
Water sport article joint and a method for manufacturing a water sport article joint
A water sport article is provided. The water sport article includes a joint formed between a first panel having a greater thickness than a second panel. The joint includes an overlapping interface between the first and second panels where one or more of adhesive bonding, blind stitching, and taping is used to attach the first and second panels at the overlapping interface.
Adhesive Fabrication Process for Garments and Other Fabric Products
A process for fabricating a three-dimensional, multi-layered fabric product with a moisture barrier is provided. A partially seamed inner lining fabric assembly having at least a two-dimensional shape is laminated with a membrane barrier film having flaps left un-laminated to cover at least one seam. The inner lining fabric assembly is further seamed and flaps of the of the membrane barrier film overlapped into contact with each other and sealed to provide a continuous moisture barrier. A process for fabricating a stretchable section of a garment with a moisture barrier is also provided. At least a section of a garment is formed from fibers arranged in a pattern having a direction of stretch in one direction and a three-dimensional surface texture such that a portion of the fibers protrude above another portion of the fibers. The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.
