Cold weather vented garment
The present invention relates to breathable, vented, and insulating cold weather garments. More particularly, the present invention relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Perforations along the seams between the insulating chambers may achieve optimal evaporative moisture transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment.
DISPOSABLE PROTECTIVE GARMENT
This invention concerns a disposable protective garment comprising a protective fabric, the garment being provided with at least one continuous line of flexible sealing material extending from the neck opening to at least one other opening in the garment, the continuous line of sealing material forming a liquid-impervious seal between the first and second parts of protective fabric in the garment; wherein the sealing material has a tensile strength less than the tensile strength of the protective fabric and the continuous line of flexible sealing material can be torn open by the wearer for doffing of the garment. This invention also concerns a disposable protective garment wherein the at least one continuous line of flexible sealing material extends from a torso opening to at least one pants sleeve opening,
Methods of joining textiles and other elements incorporating a thermoplastic polymer material
A yarn or thread may include a plurality of substantially aligned filaments, with at least ninety-five percent of a material of the filaments being a thermoplastic polymer material. Various woven textiles and knitted textiles may be formed from the yarn or thread. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be thermal bonded to other elements to form seams. A strand that is at least partially formed from a thermoplastic polymer material may extend through the seam, and the strand may be thermal bonded at the seam. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be shaped or molded, incorporated into products, and recycled to form other products.
CONTINUOUS FOLDED AND CREASED WAISTBAND, COLLAR STAND, AND SYSTEMS FOR MAKING SAME
An element for a garment includes a fused combination formed by a fusible substrate fused on a first substrate at a first temperature, and then folded and then pressed at a second temperature, wherein said second temperature is lower than said first temperature.
Fire resistant fabric with stitchbonding
A washable fire-resistant fabric and a method for making a washable fire-resistant fabric comprises a lightweight pliant non-woven batt blended from two or more types of fire-resistant organic fibers which are non-irritating to human skin. A method for stitch bonding a pliant batt of intertwined fire-resistant fibers to form a fabric which is durable and resistant to unraveling is also provided. The fabric has fire-resistant properties wherein the fabric prevents the ignition of articles made therefrom when exposed to high heat or flame sources and further insulates a wearer of the clothing from high heat or flame sources to prevent serious burns.
HEAT-PRESS SYSTEM FOR FOOTWEAR OR APPAREL
A heat-press system for use in the production of footwear or apparel can include at least a hollow first roll comprising an external surface and an internal surface. The internal surface can define a core. The core can include a first heating element.
This invention also concerns a disposable protective garment wherein the at least one continuous line of flexible sealing material extends from a torso opening to at least one pants sleeve opening.
Apparatus For The Application Of Material To A Crease Of A Garment
An apparatus for the application of resin material along crease line of one or more garments simultaneously by providing means which allow at least first and second cartridges containing the resin material to be mounted in a spaced relationship so as to allow resin from each of the cartridges to be dispensed simultaneously. The resin can be applied in substantially less time than conventional systems which only use one cartridge at a time.
Swimming garments
A swimming garment formed from a stretchable elasticated fabric that, in use, covers at least part of the wearer's thighs, hips and glutes. The garment includes at least two tension bands that have a higher modulus of elasticity than adjacent regions of the stretchable elasticated fabric so that, in use, the tension bands offer greater resistance to stretch than the adjacent regions. A first one of said tension bands follows a path that extends along the outside of a left thigh region of the garment to a left hip region of the garment and inwardly from the left hip region across a left upper glute region of the garment towards a mid-line of the garment. A second one of said tension bands follows a path that extends along the outside of a right thigh region of the garment to a right hip region of the garment and inwardly from the right hip region across a right upper glute region of the garment towards a mid-line of the garment.
Sealing sleeve for waterproof garments
A waterproof garment is provided that includes a waterproof garment textile defining a garment opening, and a sealing sleeve joined at the garment opening. The sealing sleeve includes a substantially waterproof textile composite in the form of a tube extending between (i) a first end having a first opening and configured to fit tightly around a wearers body part and (ii) an opposing second end having a second opening and joined to the waterproof garment textile by a seam around the garment opening. The textile composite includes a stretchable textile with a substantially waterproof coating layer applied to the stretchable textile.
