METHOD OF MAKING ARTICLE OF APPAREL INCLUDING THERMOREGULATORY TEXTILE
20230189911 · 2023-06-22 ·

An article of apparel and method of making the article of apparel for a wearer is disclosed herein. In at least one embodiment, the article of apparel comprises a fabric defining a first, inner surface facing the wearer, and a second, outer surface opposite the first surface. A plurality of compression areas are formed along the inner fabric surface, each compression area comprising compressed yarns. A sealing agent effective to reduce the air permeability of the fabric is applied to each compression area. The sealing agent secures the yarns in a compressed state.

SLEEVE FOR A GARMENT

Examples of a sleeve for a garment are disclosed. The sleeve comprises an outer panel attached along respective side edges thereof to form an outer sleeve and an inner panel attached along respective side edges thereof to form an inner liner of the sleeve. The inner liner and the outer sleeve are attached at least along respective edges of their respective lower ends forming a hand opening. An elastic band is attached to the inner liner proximate a wrist area of the sleeve and is spaced apart from the outer sleeve. The elastic band is configured to draw the inner liner into contact with and hug a wrist area of the wearer while the outer layer is loosely fitted around the wrist area of the wearer.

Digital Contracts in Blockchain Environments
20220372673 · 2022-11-24 · ·

Digital or “smart” contracts execute in a blockchain environment. Any entity (whether public or private) may specify a digital contract via a contract identifier in a blockchain. Because there may be many digital contracts offered as virtual services, the contract identifier uniquely identifies a particular digital contract offered by a virtual machine, vendor or supplier. The blockchain is thus not burdened with the programming code that is required to execute the digital contract. The blockchain need only include or specify the contract identifier (and perhaps one or more contractual parameters), thus greatly simplifying the blockchain and reducing its size (in bytes) and processing requirements.

Zoned Insulation Garment

Aspects herein relate to a garment having zoned insulation features. The zoned insulation features comprise projections that extend in the z-direction with respect to the surface of a base material forming the garment such that the projections face toward a body surface of a wearer when the garment is worn. The number and/or size of the projections may vary over the garment depending on the amount of insulation needed in different areas of the garment.

Heat insulation composition for improving heat insulation and soundproofing functions, containing aerogel, and method for manufacturing heat insulation fabric by using same

The present invention relates to a heat insulation composition, containing aerogel, with improved heat insulation and soundproofing properties, and a method for manufacturing a heat insulation fabric by using the same. The heat insulation composition is prepared by mixing solvent, aerogel powder, adhesive binder and carbon black powder, thereby improving the heat insulation property at an extremely low temperature and at a high temperature, and also enhancing the soundproofing property.

ARTICLE OF APPAREL INCLUDING INSULATION

An article of apparel including insulation material includes an insulating layer formed of waterfowl fibers and synthetic fibers. The waterfowl fibers can be present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the insulating layer. The insulating layer is generally free of waterfowl plumage.

THERMAL LINER FOR PROTECTIVE GARMENTS
20220053859 · 2022-02-24 ·

A nonwoven for use in a thermal liner for protective apparel includes 1-45 wt % of a first inherently heat resistant fiber excluding an aramid, and a balance of a second heat resistant fiber. The nonwoven excludes wool and has a thickness less than 3 mm and a basis weight of less than 2.9 osy (100 gsm). In another embodiment, the insulating layer for protective apparel includes a nonwoven including an inherently flame resistant fiber and fibers being inherently resistant to moisture absorption. The inherently flame resistant fiber is different from said inherently resistant to moisture absorption fiber. The nonwoven has an equivalent or better thermal protective performance (TPP) and a lower basis weight than an industry standard nonwoven consisting of a nonwoven of para-aramids or meta-aramids or a blend of both.
