Protective Garment Having Water and Oil Resistance
Fabric materials are disclosed that have been treated with a water resistant treatment and an oil resistant treatment. The water resistant treatment includes a durable water resistant composition that is substantially fluorocarbon free. The oil resistant treatment includes an elastomeric coating that may include a silicone polymer. Protective garments can be made from the fabric that provide resistance to oil and water. The fabric materials can optionally include an antiviral agent, providing resistance against airborne pathogens by preventing penetration through the fabric material and by destroying any pathogens that land upon the fabric.
SELF-ORGANIZING COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK NODES AND SYSTEMS
A communications node includes an apparel item in the form of a backpack attachment that includes a panel, first and second arms extending therefrom. An antenna element and A/V hub may be affixed to an arm. The attachment may include a communications device and battery. A control circuit may be communicatively coupled to the antenna element, the A/V hub, the communications device, and the battery. The A/V hub may demountably and communicatively couple to an audio/video source. The control circuit may establish a mesh network with computing devices. The antenna element may include a graphene polymer conductive composition. The graphene may form a three-dimensional percolated network within the polymer matrix. The apparel item may include a multilayered material that reflect RF radiation generated by the antenna element away from the apparel item. The layer may include a conductive material. The layer may include a foam.

Flame-Retardant Protective Bib For Smoking Users
A novel fire-retardant protective bib including a generally rectangular or square body having a front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface has a textile friendly adhesive material that may be detachably attached or laid across a clothing article of a smoking user such that the front surface of the bib collects ashes and debris dropped from a cigar, cigarette, cannabis, and the like. The bib is configured to cover a lap or chest area and a portion of the smoking user’s torso, thereby preventing stains and burns on the clothing of the user. The bib also comprises a rear pocket for storing smoking items therein, and the front surface includes several customization options, such as a unique logo.

Fabric material that is resistant to molten metals
Fabrics and garments are disclosed that have dual protection against molten metal splashes and electrical arc flashes. The fabrics can be made from spun yarns containing an intimate blend of fibers. The fibers contained in each yarn can include wool fibers, flame resistant cellulose fibers, and nylon fibers. In one aspect, relatively long wool fibers are incorporated into the yarns.
REINFORCEMENT MATERIAL FOR A GARMENT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
There is provided a reinforcement material for a garment, the garment having at least one region exposed to external mechanical forces. The reinforcement material includes a piece of fabric, the piece of fabric including a plurality of micrometric pores distributed among a surface of the piece of fabric. The micrometric pores are sized, positioned and oriented to allow a passage of at least one of: heat, moisture, vapors and water therethrough. The piece of fabric has abrasion resistance properties and breathability properties and is configured to be affixed to the garment in the region(s) exposed to the external mechanical forces, thereby enhancing the mechanical resistance of the garment without significantly affecting breathability properties of the garment, when the piece of fabric is affixed to the garment.
