ADJUSTABLE HEADBAND
An adjustable headband is disclosed. The adjustable headband comprising an elongate base band being formed of an elastic material. The adjustable headband is provided with inner and outer surfaces and further includes a base band internal channel that is configured to receive and expel an elastic strap through openings being provided thereon. The elongate base band is capable of stretching to conform to the scalp of a user and wherein fastening means are used to secure the headband against the scalp once the elastic strap is fed through the base band channel and the elastic strap is fastened to the elongate base by creating a compressive force on the scalp to hold the adjustable headband in place. An integral layer of silicone webbing on the inner surface of the elongate base band is used to increase the friction between the elongate base band and the scalp.

Garment With Wipe Zones
A garment having one or more wipe zones for transferring away perspiration from a wearer's skin upon contact with the wearer's skin is provided herein. The wipe zones may be comprised of hydrophobic material formed from yarns having a smaller denier per filament (DPF) than adjacent non-wipe zones on the garment. In some aspects, the DPF of the wipe-zone material is within a range of 0.025 to 0.0025. The wipe zones may be positioned on an outer-facing surface of the garment or an inner-facing surface of the garment in areas that are readily accessible to remove perspiration from the wearer's hands and/or head. Methods of manufacturing a garment having wipe zones are also provided herein.

No Sweat Marks Fabric with Moisture Management Function
Examples of a knitted or woven fabric with moisture management function are described, comprising a face fabric layer with a durable water repellency (DWR) additives forming a fabric outer surface that is hydrophobic and a back fabric layer comprising a second yarn that is highly hydrophilic forming a moisture regain core to absorb the moisture and spread it across on an inside surface of the back fabric layer. The outer (face) layer of the fabric is hydrophobic due to the added DWR additives to the first yarn while the inner (back) layer of the fabric is highly hydrophilic that absorbs and spreads the moisture across the inner side of the back layer so that it dries faster making the outer surface of the face fabric layer dry thus reducing the occurrence of water I liquid spots on the face layer outer surface.
THERMAL LINER FOR PROTECTIVE GARMENTS
A nonwoven for use in a thermal liner for protective apparel includes 1-45 wt % of a first inherently heat resistant fiber excluding an aramid, and a balance of a second heat resistant fiber. The nonwoven excludes wool and has a thickness less than 3 mm and a basis weight of less than 2.9 osy (100 gsm). In another embodiment, the insulating layer for protective apparel includes a nonwoven including an inherently flame resistant fiber and fibers being inherently resistant to moisture absorption. The inherently flame resistant fiber is different from said inherently resistant to moisture absorption fiber. The nonwoven has an equivalent or better thermal protective performance (TPP) and a lower basis weight than an industry standard nonwoven consisting of a nonwoven of para-aramids or meta-aramids or a blend of both.
Sport Performance Gloves
According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to football and golf. Primarily because of its unique finger configurations, and/or grip enhancers, and/or hand protective properties, as well as providing an strategically located aperture exposing a portion of a user's forefinger, the present invention makes a glove more operable in various sports activities.
TRAINING TUNIC
A training tunic is provided with tapered front and back panels. The back panel has attached side straps that mate with matable front portions on the front panel. The end of each side strap is folded to form a pocket compartment opening upward. Where each side strap is attached to the back panel, an outer side pocket is formed along the back panel that is sized and positioned so that the side strap may be inserted into the outer side pocket. When the training tunic is worn, it is open on the sides above and below the side straps, and a sleeveless arm area is formed on each side of the garment between the shoulder seams and the side straps. Preferably the training tunic has a hood or may have a collar.
Cooling shirt and method of making same
A cooling shirt is disclosed. The shirt is formed from a resilient fabric comprised of a first yarn of a first material and a second yarn of a second material twisted and knitted together. In one embodiment, the first yarn is formed from fibers have surfaces adapted to channel liquid from wet areas to dry areas and the yarn has pores adapted to permit evaporation of liquid vapor therethrough, and the second yarn is resilient and capable of being stretched at least 300% without deforming. The first yarn constitutes between 85% and 95% of the weight of the fabric with the second yarn constituting the remainder. In one embodiment the resilient fabric is capable of being resiliently stretched at least 40% in each of two perpendicular directions without tearing and returning immediately to its at-rest position. In one embodiment, the first yarn has a porosity of between approximately 20% and 45%.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRIGGERING THERMOGENESIS
According to at least one exemplary embodiment, a system and articles for triggering thermogenesis may be provided. In an exemplary embodiment, the system may include a vest, at least one wrist wrap, and a neck pad. The vest, at least one wrist wrap, and neck pad may each include at least one cooling element capable of influencing a wearer's body temperature.
