A smart mask includes a first material layer, at least one display, a first sensor, and a control module. The first material layer is configured to cover a portion of a face of a person. The at least one display is connected to the first material layer and configured to display images over a mouth of the person. The first sensor is configured to detect movement of the mouth of the person and generate a signal indicative of the movement of the mouth. The control module is configured to receive the signal and display the images on the display based on the movement of the mouth.

An article of clothing is provided having a plurality of accesses for accessing, when the clothing is worn by a wearer, the area below the clothing without removing the clothing. In one example, the article of clothing is an upper-body garment with two arm accesses, an anterior torso access, and two side torso accesses. In another example, the article of clothing is a lower-body garment with two leg accesses, two knee accesses, and two hip accesses. In one example, each access is opened or closed by an incremental fastening device such as a one-way or two-way zipper.

Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for absorbing moisture within a face mask worn by a user. A face mask may comprise at least one layer of filtration material. configured to filter one or more harmful substances from the air breathed by a user; at least one layer of absorbent material configured to absorb moisture exhaled by the user, wherein the at least one layer of absorbent material spans the entire inner surface area of the mask; at least one layer of waterproof material located between the at least one layer of filtration material and the at least one layer of absorbent material configured to prevent moisture from the absorbent material from contacting the filtration material; and at least one layer of anti-bacterial material located adjacent to the at least one layer of absorbent material and forming the inner surface of the mask.

Self-sterilizing fabric for personal protection against pathogens

A fabric containing nanotubes which is impervious to viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens; which is self-sterilizing and reusable; and a method of producing the same are disclosed. The fabric can be used to construct facemasks, gloves, protective suits, protective habitats, continuous air filtration/sterilization systems or any other type of protective clothing or structure. The fabric may have integrated temperature monitoring sensors. The fabric may be made into patches which may be integrated into existing articles of clothing. When connected to an electrical power source, either via built-in electrical connections or by induction, the active layer which is one of the components of the fabric will heat to a temperature high enough to eliminate potential biological contamination from viruses, bacteria and other microbial threats. Combining the CNT active layer with an insulating layer will allow a garment to be continuously worn or used without needing removal during multiple sterilization cycles.

Garment for Water Weight-Loss
20220338575 · 2022-10-27 ·

A garment and method for targeted water weight-loss of a user. The garment may be a typical article of clothing; however, heat trapping agents are applied to the garment, particularly on the inside of the garment so as to make contact with the skin causing increased perspiration of the user at the location where the heating trapping agent contacts the skin. The heat trapping agent can be applied to the garment at desired locations and with a desired pattern to increase the efficiency of perspiration, and therefore, water weight-loss. Preferably, the heat trapping agent is print material with a stretch additive.
