Garment with cell phone pockets
This invention is directed toward a garment that is comfortable to wear and can safely, with easy accessibility, securely store a cell phone and other important items. A preferred embodiment of the invention is a pair of shorts, with an elasticized waistband that can be tightened by a non-elasticized drawstring cord. There is a seamless, knitted inner layer similar to “boy short” style underwear. This seamless, knitted “boy short” style underwear inner layer provides comfort to the user. Two vertical side hip interior pockets are sewn to the inner layer at the outside of the seamless, knitted “boy short” underwear at the hips of the user, making it comfortable for a user to carry a cell phone and/or other items. The shorts have a thin line of reflective fabric on the seams and hem of the shorts, providing safety for the user.
Secure pocket structure
Aspects herein are directed to a pocket structure that facilitates the secure storage of items stowed within the pocket structure. The pocket structure includes inner and outer pocket layers and a funnel-shaped structure positioned in the space between the inner and outer pocket layers. The funnel-shaped structure comprises an inlet opening that forms an opening to the pocket structure and an outlet opening that is in communication with the space between the inner and outer pocket layers. The outlet opening has a smaller circumference compared to the inlet opening.
WEARABLE RESISTIVE EQUIPMENT
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a wearable resistive equipment that integrates endurance and strength training capabilities into the clothing, while enhancing the effect of exercise, rest and motion. In one embodiment, the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands with end-clasping members for affixing to an external apparatus. In other embodiments the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands that can extend to various positions on a user's upper or lower legs. In yet other embodiments, the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands that extend upward toward the lower mid-section of a body for abdominal training.
Waistbands having Absorbent, Wicking, Expandable Bandrolls and Garments With Same
A waistband for a garment includes a bandroll having an absorption layer and a wicking layer. The wicking layer controls stretch properties of the absorption layer. The waistband comprises a second material and wherein a shrinkage of a material substrate of the bandroll substantially matches a shrinkage of the second material.
AQUATIC SPORT PERFORMANCE GARMENT WITH RESTRAINTS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
An aquatic sport performance garment comprising restraints affixed to a lateral material surface of the aquatic sport performance garment approximately parallel to a sagittal plane along each side of the garment and further comprising restraints affixed to a material surface across the back of the aquatic sport performance garment, posteriorly offset from the coronal plane of the garment in a criss-cross fashion, intersecting the longitudinal axis with the ends of the criss-cross restraints located in proximity to the ends of the longitudinally placed lateral restraints on each side of the garment; said restraints configured to inhibit side-to-side bending of the body of a user, reduce longitudinal drag, improve stroke mechanics, encourage proper torso rotation and muscle coordination about the midsection of the body of the user during movement and improve endurance when the garment is worn by the user when swimming.
Activewear Garment
An activewear garment having facial opening formed on an anterior side of an upper head portion of the garment. An elastic securing band is attached to an interior rim of the facial opening, said elastic securing band being attached around the entire circumference of said facial opening. An adhering layer composed of one or more types of adhesive substances, including pressure sensitive adhesives, are applied to an interior side of the elastic securing band, such adhering layer being configured to releasably adhere to a user's facial skin, thereby preventing the full or partial dislodgement of such activewear garment during high contact athletic activities.
Dynamic Socks and Associated Methods
The present disclosure relates to a dynamic sock, pantyhose, athletic pants/leggings or similar clothing, designed to increase propulsion or restrict motion in human gait as would be advantageous in athletic, lifestyle, medical or similar applications. Similarly, the described invention would be advantageous in sedentary applications to restrict joint angle for various pathologies. The exemplary sock includes an integrated propulsion/tension band with increased elastic/compression/tension capability at specific parts of the foot, ankle and lower leg to increase the tension at the dorsiflexion, midstance or plantarflexion phase of the gait cycle or restrict joint excursion in medical applications to thereby increase the rate, amount and force of plantarflexion or dorsiflexion or restrict motion in the sagittal, transverse or horizontal planes.
Athletic garment with dual-position panel and concealable decoration layer
An athletic garment includes a body-fitting portion and a skirt draped over the body-fitting portion. The skirt includes an attached portion fixedly attached to the body-fitting portion, and a dual-position panel forming a detachably connected portion of the skirt. The dual-position panel is repositionable by a wearer between a first position and a second position. The garment also includes a concealable decoration layer fixedly attached to the body-fitting portion, such that the dual-position panel detachably connected in the first position overlays and substantially conceals the concealable decoration layer. The concealable decoration layer overlays at least a portion of the dual-position panel in the second position.
MEDICAL GOWN
Various implementations include a medical gown. The gown includes a main panel and two sleeves. The main panel defines two sleeve openings. Each of the two sleeves is coupled to a perimetrical edge of one of the two sleeve openings. The main panel and the two sleeves include woven nylon 6,6. Various other implementations include a medical gown. The gown includes a main panel and two sleeves. The main panel defines two sleeve openings. Each of the two sleeves is coupled to a perimetrical edge of one of the two sleeve openings. The main panel and the two sleeves include woven polyester.
Heatable Garment, Fabrics for Such Garments, and Methods of Manufacture
