Headgear for a shielding garment with face shield
Headgear for a shielding garment for operating on components exposed to high voltage, or for operating at a safe distance proximate to high voltage parts, or for activities involving exposure to high electric and/or electromagnetic fields at any frequency and voltage is disclosed. The headgear comprises a cover element which is configured to cover the head of an operator and has an opening at least at an upper portion of the operator's face. The headgear further comprises a transparent face shield made of an electrically conductive fabric. The face shield is removably coupled to the cover element to close the opening and is electrically connected to the shielding garment. The fabric has a density ranging from 25 to 40 g/m.sup.2 and comprises a plurality of yarns having a yarn count ranging from 10 to 30 deniers, and each comprising a respective core externally covered with a coating made of a conductive metal.
Tags for temporarily connecting two items
An apparatus includes a material, a first tag portion and a second tag portion. The material may be configured to be worn. The second tag portion may comprise a fastener. The first tag portion and the second tag portion may be attached near an opening of the material. When the material is worn, (a) the first tag portion may overlap the second tag portion and (b) the second tag portion may be between the first tag portion and the material. The fastener may be configured to removably attach to a complementary fastener on another of the apparatus.

A garment (300) includes a body-covering portion (301). A sleeve (100) is attached to the body-covering portion at a seam (310) and extends to a terminal edge (102) defining a first linear portion (104), a second linear portion (105), and a curved portion (106) spanning the first linear portion and the second linear portion. A first fastener (107) is coupled to the first linear portion on an interior side (201) of the terminal edge, while a second fastener (108) is coupled to the second linear portion on an exterior side (101) of the terminal edge. A third fastener (212) is coupled to the seam on an exterior side of the seam, while a fourth fastener (211) coupled to the seam on an interior side of the seam.

A detachable protective pad may attach to an article of clothing and allow a person to work comfortably for long periods of time. It may be used in various applications to protect various body regions such as knees or elbows, from abrasions, discomfort, and moisture, or other risks.
Garment extender
A garment extender including: a body provided with an attachment at each side thereof, each of the attachments defining a channel and a slit leading laterally into the channel. When the attachment is operatively secured to a garment slide fastener of a garment, a gripped portion of one of the stringer tapes of the garment slide fastener is inserted in the slit and the channel receives thereinto teeth that are supported by the stringer tape adjacent the gripped portion.

A garment for use with a medical device, the garment including a back panel having a central region, two back leg panel members projecting from the central region of the back panel, and, two arm panel members connected to the central region at a location distal to the two back leg panel members. The central region, the two leg panel members, and the two arm panel members are oriented so as to be coplanar when laid on a flat support surface. The two back leg panel members define inner edges proximate to a lower region of the central region of the back panel. The garment further includes two front panel members connected to the opposed sides of the central region defining a portion a lower crotch and each front panel member releasably connects with each back panel at a central slit that defines an access opening.
Packable Garment Convertible to a Carry-On Bag
A convertible garment carry-on bag is a clothing article that most resembles an outer garment in nature, whose novel aspect is the ability to convert into a travel bag. In garment form, the article visibly bears large pockets in the front and back to store various articles. The garment also features side panels with zippers that allow a wearer to expand the garment. Handles integrated along the length of the back of the garment are retrieved from concealed pockets. When folded at approximate belt level, with handles released, the garment is now a carry-on bag.
One-piece swimsuit having magnetic fastening system and method of using same
A one-piece swimsuit has a tubular member having a first panel and second panel. The first panel extends to a lower edge having a first band portion. A flap portion is connected to the second panel and extends downwardly past the plane of the lower edge to an upper edge having a second band portion. The flap portion has an opened and closed position. The swimsuit includes a fastening system having first magnetic means for releasably fastening the flap portion in the closed position, and second magnetic means for releasably fastening the flap portion in the opened position. The first and second magnetic means include the first and second band portions respectively, a thin strip integrally coupled within each band portion, a plurality of magnetic elements, a plurality of spaced pockets attached to each strip for encasing each magnetic element, and a cover layer bonded to the strip.
Personal tactical system and network
A personal tactical system including a ballistic load-bearing garment, a pouch with one or more batteries enclosed in the pouch, an electronic processor, a communication device, and at least one camera. The camera is incorporated into or removably attachable to the load-bearing garment, the pouch is removably attachable to the load-bearing garment and the one or more batteries are operable to power the camera and communication device. The processor runs image recognition software operable to identify approaching objects and alert the user. A plurality of personal tactical systems is operable to form an ad hoc network to share images and other information for determining object direction, location, and movement.
Bonding garment
A garment for skin-to-skin bonding with an infant, comprising a back, a lower front, an upper front, a hem, sleeve holes and a collar, a receiving flap and a plurality of fasteners. The garment further comprises a receiving portion comprising an angled, substantially longitudinal break in the upper front. The receiving flap is operable to be removably joined by operation of the fasteners to a portion of the upper front to cover the receiving portion and to cause the upper front to take the visual appearance of a known article of clothing.
