Protective garments with adjustable closure systems
Disclosed herein are adjustable closure system comprises a first flap configured to extend inwardly from a first side of a wearer, a second flap configured to extend inwardly from a second side of the wearer, and an adjustable suspension strap. The first flap may comprise a plurality of first fasteners. The second flap may comprise a plurality of second fasteners. The adjustable suspension strap may comprise a third fastener. The adjustable suspension strap is configured to be secured to the first flap, the second flap, or both the first flap and the second flap. Also disclosed herein are protective garments such as aprons comprising the adjustable closure system.
Sunshade cap with multiple retractable sunshield members
A retractable sunshade cap includes a crown having a forwardly extending visor, three sunshield members, and fastening members. The bottom end of the sunshield members are permanently attached to the base of the crown using permanent fastening members or sewing stitches or other permanent attachment methods. Left and right sunshield members are disposed with their front ends attached near the front centerline of the crown so that they drape forwardly down the side of the visor. Rear sunshield member is disposed so that it drapes down from near the rear crown portion. Detachable fastening members are deployed to secure angled folded flaps that reduce the size of the sunshield members for storage, and are also deployed to secure portions of the sunshield members onto the crown near its vertex for independent retraction and targeted shading of the face and neck.
Hybrid apparel and method of transforming same into other garment types
A multipurpose customizable garment designed to be transformed from the form of arm-wear into other types of garments. Specifically, the hybrid garment can be converted from a detachable sleeve to a scarf, vest, and a variety of neck-wear, leg-wear, and clothing tops by selective use of a plurality of fasteners which enable the wearer to vary the size and appearance of the garment.
Garment extender
A garment extender including: a body provided with an attachment at each side thereof, each of the attachments defining a channel and a slit leading laterally into the channel. When the attachment is operatively secured to a garment slide fastener of a garment, a gripped portion of one of the stringer tapes of the garment slide fastener is inserted in the slit and the channel receives thereinto teeth that are supported by the stringer tape adjacent the gripped portion.
Garment sleeve with partial zipper seam
A garment sleeve having a proximal shoulder end coupled to an armscye of the garment, and a distal, cuff end, terminating at a cuff, the garment sleeve including: (a) a seam running from the armscye to the cuff the seam being joined at least at the shoulder end and at the cuff end; (b) a non-separating zipper including;(i) teeth, and (ii) at least one slider adapted to reversibly couple the teeth, at least partially, between the shoulder end and the cuff end; the non-separating zipper operationally coupled proximate to the shoulder end of the seam and proximate to the cuff end of the seam.
ADAPTIVE CLOTHING
An individual who has had a limb amputation and wears a prosthetic limb on an amputated residual limb may have a difficult time adjusting the prosthetic limb discreetly in a public setting. Described herein are articles of clothing, access opening systems, clothing cuffs, or devices for securing a prosthetic limb to a residual limb fitted with the prosthetic limb and for providing access to the prosthetic limb discreetly without removing a substantial portion of the clothing.
LOOP TOWEL
A towel with a loop formed from the towel material to allow for a user to place a finger or a hand within the loop and manipulate the towel material with ease allowing the user to manage a large amount of material without the towel falling off of the user providing a more compact towel to maneuver. The loop is also hung from the user's person or a hook or a towel bar or a belt. The loop formed on a towel easily and quickly wraps and hangs around a towel bar.

A hooded garment can include a torso section extending from a waist region to a neck region, where the torso section includes a chest region and a back region. The hooded garment includes a hood extending upward from the neck region and having a front opening, a right sleeve extending from a right shoulder region of the right torso region and having a first wrist opening, and a left sleeve extending from a left shoulder region of the left torso region and having a second wrist opening.

The camera is incorporated into or removably attachable to the load-bearing garment, the pouch is removably attachable to the load-bearing garment and the one or more batteries are operable to supply power to the at least one power distribution and data hub. The at least one power distribution and data hub is operable to supply power to at least one peripheral device. A plurality of personal tactical systems is operable to form an ad hoc network to share images and other information for determining object direction, location, and movement.
