Apparel for individuals with limited mobility
An apparel including an apparel body having an operative top edge and an operative bottom edge is disclosed. At least one waist securing portion is defined adjacent the operative top edge of the apparel body, wherein the waist securing portion includes a resilient band. Securing members are provided on the waist securing portion to allow a user to easily wear or remove the apparel, wherein the securing members includes at least one of a hook and loop straps and a button and button loop set. The apparel further includes at least one pocket provided on an inner surface of the skirt body.
Enhanced Exercise Vest
An enhanced exercise vest for improving squatting exercise performance includes an upper portion; a bottom portion, the bottom portion including two front sections that wraps around a portion of the torso of the user and a back section; two shoulder straps; and two clasps or brackets. The two shoulder straps connect to a back surface of the main portion, the two shoulder straps to wrap around shoulders of a user, cross, and pass through a loop attached to the back section of the bottom portion. The two shoulder straps attach to each other across a front side of the bottom portion. Two clasps or brackets are attached to the two front sections of the bottom portion.
PERSONAL TACTICAL SYSTEM AND NETWORK
A personal tactical system including a ballistic load-bearing garment, a pouch with one or more batteries enclosed in the pouch, an electronic processor, a communication device, and at least one camera. The camera is incorporated into or removably attachable to the load-bearing garment, the pouch is removably attachable to the load-bearing garment and the one or more batteries are operable to power the camera and communication device. The processor runs image recognition software operable to identify approaching objects and alert the user. A plurality of personal tactical systems is operable to form an ad hoc network to share images and other information for determining object direction, location, and movement.
Disposable Medical Gown
A disposable medical gown (100) includes a body covering portion (101) and optionally one or more sleeves (107,108). The body covering portion (101) defines a head insertion aperture (104) between a frontal body covering portion (103) configured to cover a frontal body portion of a wearer and a rear portion (203) configured to cover at least parts of shoulder blades of the wearer. A torso opening (201) is disposed on a side of the rear portion (203) opposite the head insertion aperture (104), and extends distally from the rear portion (203). One or more perforations (202) extend across the rear portion (203) at least partially between the torso opening (202) and the head insertion aperture (104), and facilitate easy removal of the gown (100). A user removes the gown (100) by pulling the front portion (103), thereby tearing the perforations. Elastic gatherings can be included to snug the gown about the torso or limbs of the user.
ANTIMICROBIAL GARMENT TO WEAR DURING SURGERY AND AS PART OF A SHOULDER IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM AFTER SURGERY
A garment for a person to wear during surgery comprising: an unapplied position where the garment is not applied to a person; an applied position where the garment is applied to the person; a length sufficiently long for the garment to wrap laterally around a thorax of a person and under arms of the person when the garment takes the applied position; a width sufficiently wide for the garment to cover a breast area of the thorax of the person and at least a portion of an abdomen of the person when the garment takes the applied position; and an exterior surface with an antimicrobial coating applied to the exterior surface; wherein, the antimicrobial coating includes a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof is one or more of: 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, or 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride.
Upper wear
Provided is an upper wear allowing an increase in variations of wear coordination of the upper wear. An upper wear 1 includes a front panel 10 having front panel pieces 50 and 51 at left and right. The upper wear 1 is configured such that respective upper parts of the left and right front panel pieces 50 and 51 can be folded back to the back surface sides thereof, to be held at the back surfaces of the front panel pieces 50 and 51, respectively.
Outerwear having enhanced hood
The present application provides a garment that includes: a hood, the hood having an opening at a front of the hood, the opening extending between a bottom and top of the hood; at least a first passageway meandering in a concave shape on at least one side of the hood and extending from the bottom front of the hood, rearward over a wearer's shoulder, transitioning vertically toward the top of the hood, and continuing at the top of the hood forward back over the wearer's shoulder toward the front of the hood; and at least way drawstring disposed within the first passageway.
SPORTS PERFORMANCE VEST THAT FACILITATES ABSORPTION OF PERSPIRATION AND REGULATES BODY TEMPERATURE
A sports apparel item made from fabric that is used for wiping perspiration, regulating human body temperature and for covering the top of the head, chest, neck and back, which includes a hood with draw string and an opening in the back for long hair to pass through the invention, attached to an opening in the center of a diamond shaped, vest like, moisture -absorbent garment, that has been folded into an inverse triangle. The front of the garment is identified by the split directly up the center of the chest, which creates two separate vertical finished edges that make it possible for it to be donned like a vest, and to easily wipe perspiration from the head and face on the go without having to remove the invention.
Knot holder
Two apparatuses and a method are disclosed. The first apparatus includes a retention surface that substantially surrounds a knot; and a retention mechanism that couples a first end of the retention surface to a second end of the retention surface. The second apparatus includes a first retention surface; a second retention surface; a retention mechanism; and a tightening mechanism. The method includes providing a knot holder that includes a retention surface, a retention mechanism and a tightening mechanism; placing the knot holder around a knot, fastening a first end of the retention surface to a second end of the retention surface; and tightening the knot holder against the knot with the tightening mechanism.
Shirt for Carrying Mobile Devices and Related Systems Methods
An athletic shirt with a pocket on the sleeve configured to receive a mobile device. The sleeve also features a receiver for a strap, wherein the strap can be attached and used to wrap around the user's arm and pocket with the mobile device to securely hold and store the mobile device during exercise, such as running, walking, or weight lifting. The athletic shirt may also feature an interior pocket within the pocket on the sleeve that is configured to carry keys, cash, cards, or other personal items. The athletic shirt can also be worn in casual environments with the strap removed, so that individuals can transition seamlessly from exercising to a casual environment.
