COMPACTABLE JACKET
A jacket configured for compact storage, the jacket including a body having a neck opening and a torso opening, the body being configured to transition from an expanded state to a compacted state, a hem comprising pairs of hem openings, an elastic cord extending through the hem and the pairs of hem openings, clamps corresponding to the pairs of hem openings, each clamp dividing the elastic cord protruding from a corresponding pair of hem openings into a first cord portion and a second cord portion, anchors corresponding to the pairs of hem openings, each anchor coupling the portion of the elastic cord protruding from the corresponding pair of hem openings to the body, the first cord portion or second cord portion being configured to apply an elastic tension force to the body when stretched over the body in the compacted state to thereby maintain the body in the compacted state.
SMART SWEATER SUIT
A smart sweater suit made of sweater material, such as cotton, wool, polyester, or any other suitable fabric. It can be rain-proofed or adapted for use in all weather. There are fringed epaulettes on the shoulders removably attached by hook and loop fasteners. There are pockets for an electronic device capable of interactive voice communication and answering questions posed by the wearer, which may be sold in combination with the suit, and for a laptop computer and a cell phone. In a first preferred embodiment, it has a conventional collar, with a button down front. The waistband has belt loops. In a second preferred embodiment, the smart sweater suit is made of the same material, but the top is a pullover with no buttons, and a turtleneck. The ends of the sleeves can be elastic or an elastic and drawstring combination. The suit pants have an elastic waistband and drawstring.
Trim piece for an apparel item
A trim piece includes a first zone adapted to be folded over an edge of an apparel item, a second zone, and a third zone interposed between the first and second zones. The trim piece is positioned on the apparel item such that a majority of the trim piece is positioned on an outer-facing surface of the apparel item.

Garment Fastening Systems, Devices and Methods
New garment-fastening techniques are provided. In some embodiments, a new form of adjustable hair tie is provided. In some such embodiments, a new form of scrunchie is provided. In some embodiments, the new form of scrunchie includes widely-variable, user-adjustable tension, elastic cushioning disposed on or about a contact area with a user's hair, and a smooth (e.g., silk) surface. In some embodiments, the contact area surrounds and defines a central hair-gripping void with a user-variable size, and includes a substantially flattened support and profile. In some embodiments, a new form of waistband, wristband, or other clothing-fastening band of material is provided. In some such embodiments, a new form of garment enhancement device, incorporating a unique pattern of alignment- and grip-enhancing sub-elements, is provided on or about such a band, which improves garment positioning, and provides a non-stick hold on a user's body.
TRIM PIECE FOR AN APPAREL ITEM
A trim piece is provided herein comprising a first zone adapted to be folded over an edge of an apparel item, a second zone, and a third zone interposed between the first and second zones. The trim piece is positioned on the apparel item such that a majority of the trim piece is positioned on an outer-facing surface of the apparel item.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CLOTHING WRAP AND METHOD OF USE
A functional and fashionable wrap for wearing by a mother, such as a button-down sweater. The wrap includes features for wrapping a baby for breastfeeding, consoling, or merely carrying. The wrap includes additional features, such as: pockets conveniently located on front and back deep enough for bottles, phones, monitors, pacifiers, and other accessories; grosgrain ribbon loops on each shoulder to attach teethers, pacifiers, and baby toys; connectors on both sides to wrap baby for warmth and/or holding support; flexible, stretchy fabric to wrap baby for back support; and a front opening which allows easy access for nursing mothers.
ADAPTIVE CLOTHING
An individual who has had a limb amputation and wears a prosthetic limb on an amputated residual limb may have a difficult time adjusting the prosthetic limb discreetly in a public setting. Described herein are articles of clothing, access opening systems, clothing cuffs, or devices for securing a prosthetic limb to a residual limb fitted with the prosthetic limb and for providing access to the prosthetic limb discreetly without removing a substantial portion of the clothing.

Safety Garment with Integrated Earplugs
A safety garment with integrated earplugs designed to provide both hearing protection and high-visibility to the user in a single garment. The safety garment with integrated earplugs includes a garment, such as a vest or sweatshirt, designed to enclose a user's torso, with a neck aperture along a top end designed to receive a head and neck therethrough and a pair of arm apertures on opposing sides, wherein each arm aperture is designed to receive an arm therethrough. A reflective material is disposed along an exterior surface of the garment, such that the garment qualifies as a high-visibility safety garment. Additionally, a cord having a pair of opposing ends is affixed to the garment, wherein an earplug is affixed to each end of the cord. In this way, a user is able to wear a single garment that provides both high visibility to the user and has hearing protection attached.
