Insulated garment
11019865 · 2021-06-01 · ·

The technology described herein generally relates to a garment that is insulating yet light weight, which may provide protection from the elements without weighing down the wearer. The garment in accordance with the technology described herein comprises a layer of thermally insulating sheet material having one or more voided portions in place of conventional down or other synthetic thermally insulating materials. The one or more voided portions allow the thermal insulation to be light weight and adequately protective in cooler/cold weather, without adding motion hindering bulk to the garment.

Textile Layered Construction
20210137191 · 2021-05-13 ·

A textile layered construction has a textile outer layer, a textile inner layer and an absorbing component, whereby line-shaped connections between the outer layer and the inner layer are designed as a laser welded joint, forming chambers fillable with insulating material between the welded joints. At least one line-shaped welded joint connection includes an interruption separating the line-shaped welded joint connection into two line-shaped welded joint connection parts.

Glove structure

A glove structure of the present invention has a glove palm, a glove back and an edging. The edging is a bent sheet and has an upper side edge and a lower side edge, wherein the lower and upper side edges are respectively adhered to the glove palm and the glove back via joining regions, and the lower and upper side edges bend toward the glove palm. Thus, the whole glove structure bends along a direction being from the glove back to the glove back to make the glove structure be a ergonomics structure which the fingers bend toward the glove palm when the human hand is under a working state or a general state without force.

Glove

A glove has a glove core and a glove component. The glove core has a palm portion, a dorsum portion, a side portion of hand and a finger portion; the palm portion and the finger portion are connected to each other via a connection point, the finger piece portion has a first and second bonding portions with a distance therebetween, the finger piece portion is bound to the finger portion via the first bonding portion, and the finger piece portion is bound to the palm portion via the second bonding portion. The connection point, the first bonding portion and the second bonding portion are formed to have a virtual triangle, thus the finger portion and the palm portion have an angle being less than 180 degrees, and that is, the finger portion bends forward the palm portion to make the glove comply with the ergonomic principle.

Athletic band with removable module

A band includes a tubular body configured to be worn on a user's body and a pocket supported by the tubular body, where the pocket defines a cavity and has an access opening providing access to the cavity, and where the pocket is configured to removably receive an electronic module in the cavity through the access opening. An input device is connected to the tubular body and has a port exposed to the cavity of the band, where the port is configured for removable connection to a connector of the electronic module when the electronic module is received in the cavity. The input device may include a button configured to receive user input and a wireless transmitter to transmit a signal to an external device based on the user input. The input device may also include a haptic feedback mechanism for communicating haptic signals to the user.

MULTI-LAYERED FABRIC

The invention relates to a multi-layered fabric comprising an absorption layer between two liquid-permeable layers, which multi-layered fabric has a surface with: 1) one or more connection areas wherein a connection is present between both layers; and 2) one or more absorption areas wherein both layers are not connected to each other. The absorption areas are capable of absorbing a liquid whereby the liquid is absorbed by the absorption layer. The connection between the layer L1 and the layer L2 comprises a fusion of the layer L1 and the layer L2, which fusion optionally also includes the absorption layer.

Tape for producing non-quilted articles and garment using the tape

Induction heating methods for bonding seams
10893712 · 2021-01-19 · ·

Methods for bonding a seam using an inductively heated structure are provided. A three-dimensionally conformable structure is placed upon materials at a location of a desired seam for a clothing article. The structure contours to the surface and material as placed. The structure includes a conductive filling that may be inductively heated. The heated structure and conductive filling activate a heat-responsive adhesive at the location and bond the materials to one another to form the desired seam.

Glove with sleeve and production method of the same

A glove with a sleeve is provided in which the bonding strength between the glove main body and the sleeve is great, allowing easy wearing and removal as well as easy overlapping of the glove main body and the sleeve upon bonding. The glove with a sleeve includes: a glove main body compromising rubber or a resin as a principal component; and a cylindrical sleeve comprising a thermoplastic resin as a principal component that is arranged to protrude from a cuff portion of the glove main body, in which the cuff portion of the glove main body is bonded to one end portion of the sleeve through a moisture-curing urethane-based hot melt adhesive. The moisture-curing urethane-based hot melt adhesive is preferably crosslinked. A post-curing thermal deformation temperature of the moisture-curing urethane-based hot melt adhesive is preferably no less than 80 C.
