Automated garment manufacturing using adhesive bonding
Systems and methods are described that provide for automated manufacturing of garments using cutting, folding tools and adhesive dispensers operating on continuous webs of fabric webs to manufacture garments in an efficient manner while improving quality and overcoming material handling issues resulting from the properties of fabrics.
TAPE FOR PRODUCING NON-QUILTED ARTICLES AND GARMENT USING THE TAPE
A low-cost smooth-surfaced tape is used to produce a non-quilted article. An adhesive portion is provided on the outer surface on one side of the tape, and another adhesive portion is provided on the outer surface on the reverse side of the tape. Adhesive portion-free surfaces are arranged to face each other.
GLOVE
A glove has a glove core and a glove component. The glove core has a palm portion, a dorsum portion, a side portion of hand and a finger portion; the palm portion and the finger portion are connected to each other via a connection point, the finger piece portion has a first and second bonding portions with a distance therebetween, the finger piece portion is bound to the finger portion via the first bonding portion, and the finger piece portion is bound to the palm portion via the second bonding portion. The connection point, the first bonding portion and the second bonding portion are formed to have a virtual triangle, thus the finger portion and the palm portion have an angle being less than 180 degrees, and that is, the finger portion bends forward the palm portion to make the glove comply with the ergonomic principle.
Vented garment
The technology described herein relates to breathable, vented, and insulating garments. More particularly, the technology described herein relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Openings along seams between the insulating chambers may achieve evaporative moisture or air transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment. In an aspect, the garments comprise one or more insulated zones provided with one or more vented-insulation sections provided at locations on the garment configured to align with one or more areas of a wearer's body that are more sensitive to environmental conditions (e.g. temperature) and/or are prone to faster heat loss.
Athletic Band with Removable Module
A band includes a tubular body configured to be worn on a user's body and a pocket supported by the tubular body, where the pocket defines a cavity and has an access opening providing access to the cavity, and where the pocket is configured to removably receive an electronic module in the cavity through the access opening. An input device is connected to the tubular body and has a port exposed to the cavity of the band, where the port is configured for removable connection to a connector of the electronic module when the electronic module is received in the cavity. The input device may include a button configured to receive user input and a wireless transmitter to transmit a signal to an external device based on the user input. The input device may also include a haptic feedback mechanism for communicating haptic signals to the user.
Athletic band with removable module
A band includes a tubular body defining a central passage, where the tubular body is configured to be worn on a user's body such that a portion of the user's body is received in the central passage, and a housing formed of a polymer material and connected to the tubular body. The housing defines a cavity and an access opening providing access to the cavity, and the housing is configured to removably receive an electronic module in the cavity through the access opening. The housing further includes a slot in communication with the cavity, with the slot configured to permit passage of moisture away from the housing. The sides of the tubular body may also define a slope that is from 0-0.75.
Glove
A glove includes a glove core and a glove component. The glove core includes a palm portion, a dorsum portion and a side portion of hand. A side of the glove component is adhered on a surface of the glove core, and the glove component covers a part of the palm portion and a part of the dorsum portion of the glove core, a part of the palm portion and a part of the side portion of hand of the glove core, or a part of the dorsum portion and a part of the side portion of hand of the glove core, such that the glove core can be combined with the enhanced glove component, forming a structure which is simple in structure and can be formed easily. Furthermore, the robustness of the glove can be improved significantly to be provided with practicability and progressiveness.
Athletic band with removable module
A device for monitoring athletic activity of a user. In one example, the device has a sensor, and executes a calibration process using data received from the sensor to determine a correct positioning of the device on the user.
SEAM SEALED HEAT RESISTANT GLOVE OR MITT
A seam sealed heat resistant glove or mitt includes a front portion having a periphery and a rear portion having a periphery. The front and rear portions are joined to one another along a portion of their respective peripheries to define seams. The front and rear portions, when joined to one another, define an interior with seams formed at the interior and at an exterior of the glove or mitt with seams formed at the exterior. A welded thermoplastic material is disposed over the seams on at least one of the interior and the exterior of the glove or mitt and is cured by the application of ultrasonic energy. A method of making a seam sealed glove or mitt is disclosed.
LIGHTWEIGHT BALL GLOVE
The lightweight ball glove includes a back side, a front side and a shock cord tension system therebetween. The outer edge of the front side is fixedly coupled with the outer edge of the back side to form a lightweight glove. A web portion is fixedly coupled between a thumb and a pointer finger of the lightweight glove, the web portion having a bridge at the top. Cordage is used for lacing together a top portion of each finger with an adjacent finger and the bridge to form the lightweight ball glove.
