CONFIGURABLE NOZZLE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF SAME
A configurable nozzle includes a nozzle body having a reception chamber configured to receive an application mixture. The nozzle body includes a nozzle orifice. At least one orifice assembly is coupled with the nozzle body, the at least one orifice assembly includes an orifice plate movably coupled with the nozzle body. The orifice plate extends along at least a portion of the nozzle orifice, and movement of the orifice plate changes one or more of the size or shape of the nozzle orifice. An orifice actuator is coupled with the orifice plate, and the orifice actuator is configured to move the orifice plate.
VEGETATION SAW ASSEMBLY
A vegetation saw assembly for sawing a root system of an undesired plant includes a pole and a mount that is attachable to the pole. A blade is coupled to the mount and the blade is extendable underground and is positionable between a desired plant and an undesired plant. The blade has a distal end with respect to the mount and the blade is concavely arcuate between the mount and the distal end of the blade. In this way the blade may saw a root system of the undesired plant at an approximately horizontal angle when the blade is extended underground for removing the undesired plant.

Method for autonomously weeding crops in an agricultural field
A method for weeding crops includes, at an autonomous machine: recording an image at the front of the autonomous machine; detecting a target plant and calculating an opening location for the target plant longitudinally offset and laterally aligned with the location of the first target plant; driving a weeding module to laterally align with the opening location; tracking the opening location relative to a longitudinal reference position of the weeding module; when the weeding module longitudinally aligns with the first opening location, actuating the blades of the first weeding module to an open position; recording an image proximal to the weeding module; and in response to detecting the blades of the weeding module in the open position: calculating an offset between the opening location and a reference position of the weeding module, based on the image; and updating successive opening locations calculated by the autonomous machine based on the offset.

Subterranean cutter / raker combination
This invention is directed toward a combination cutting blade/raking device where the blade portion slices weeds off under the soil, thereby effectively killing the plant, and a raking portion collects the uprooted weeds. The blade and rake also flatten the surface of the soil. The raking section of the invention can be lifted independently of the cutting blade. The cutting blade is reversible so a user of the invention can cut twice as much area before having to remove the blade for sharpening. The blade is slightly curved in cross section, allowing for a smoother cutting path through the soil

WEED-DAMAGING DEVICE
A device for damaging weeds, having a movably arranged plunger, which has a plunger end for applying pressure to a weed to damage the weed mechanically, and to an active-substance dispensing unit, which is configured to dispense an active substance onto the plunger end of the plunger to damage chemically the mechanically damaged weed.

Apparatus, System and Method for Mechanical, Selective Weed Control in Mature and Establishing Crops Including Turfgrasses
An apparatus for applying a desired amount of mechanical abrasion to plants and selective cutting of undesirable plant material is provided. The apparatus includes a base, a brush and an elevation device for maintaining the base at desirable height. The base has a first longitudinal axis and a plurality of grooves, the grooves being oriented approximately perpendicular to the first longitudinal axis. The brush has a second longitudinal axis and a plurality of bristles and/or blades extending outwardly from the second longitudinal axis. The brush is attached to the apparatus such that the second longitudinal axis is substantially parallel to the first longitudinal axis and the brush is rotatable about the second longitudinal axis. The brush is spaced from the base such that the plurality of bristles engage the plurality of grooves. The base is adjustable enabling the operator to move the base closer or further from the rotating brush/blades.
