ARTICLE OF CLOTHING INCLUDING A SUBSTRATE MATERIAL AND A FLOCKING MATERIAL
An article of clothing is provided and includes a substrate material including an inner surface and an outer surface disposed on an opposite side of the substrate material than the inner surface. The substrate material forming a body-receiving portion and a limb-receiving portion extending from the body-receiving portion, whereby the body-receiving portion includes a first opening sized for circumscribing a neck of the wearer and the limb-receiving portion includes a second opening sized for circumscribing a limb of the wearer. A flocking material is arranged adjacent the inner surface of the substrate material proximate at least one of the first opening and the second opening.
Sensitivity enhancement glove
A sensitivity enhancement glove having at least one sleeve with a unique aperture to enhance performance by capitalizing on neuroanatomy and create hyper sensitivity, thereby enhancing proprioception.
RESISTANCE GARMENTS HAVING INTEGRAL SEAMLESS RESISTIVE ZONES
Garment, and method for forming a garment, comprising a fabric configured to conform to a body portion of a wearer, wherein resistive zones are seamlessly integrally formed in the fabric, and wherein the resistive zones are positioned in the fabric to resist movement of the body portion of the wearer.
Gloves with sensory windows
A glove that is less prone to slip on the hand, and/or that provides for better tactile sensation, and/or that provides a better outer grip. The glove has an outer surface, an inner surface, and one or more of: ridges, an inner grip material, and one or more sensory windows at places where greater tactile sensation is desired. The inner grip material friction with the skin and/or is tacky to help maintain the glove in position on the hand. The glove may also include an outer material and/or throwing grip material.
Mechanical control systems and methods for adaptive apparel
A control system for controlling tension applied to a lace cable coupled to a support structure of an adaptive support garment is discussed herein. The control system can include a lace spool, a damper mechanism, and a locking ring. The lace spool can include a lace groove to receive the lace cable and a rotary bias member to apply rotational tension to resist extension of the lace cable out of a housing holding the control system. The damper mechanism is engagable with the lace spool to generate an additional rotational tension resisting extension of the lace cable out of the housing. The locking ring is frictionally coupled to the lace spool, and the locking ring can include a lock wedge adapted to disengage the damper mechanism upon rotation into a pre-determined rotational position relative to the damper mechanism.
GARMENT
A garment (10) comprising a grip coating located on inner and outer surfaces of a garment section (12) so as to generate in use friction between a wearer's skin and the garment (10) and friction between the garment (10) and an external contact surface. The grip coating includes a first array of grip elements (14) located on the inner surface of the garment section (12) and a second array of grip elements (16) located on the outer surface of the garment section (12). The first and second arrays are arranged relative to each other so that the grip elements (14,16) of the first and second arrays are offset relative to each other and do not overlie or overlap each other.
Slip resistant garment
An athletic garment suitable for use as cheerleading training pants or shorts has a plurality of silicone slip resistant protrusions arranged at a left and right hip section. The silicone protrusions prevent slipping between the garment and a catching athlete's hands. Additional silicone protrusions may be arranged at a left and right ankle section of the garment.
ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE GARMENT
A garment is configured to be worn on a part of the body. The garment includes a fabric panel, a first material, and a second material. The garment includes an inwardly facing side, which faces toward the part of the body when the garment is worn, and an outwardly facing side, which faces away from the part of the body when the garment is worn. The first material is applied to the outwardly facing side to form a first unit of a first pattern, and the second material is applied to the inwardly facing side to form a second unit of a second pattern. At least one portion of the first unit is repeated to cover at least one first region of the fabric panel, and at least one portion of the second unit is repeated to cover at least one second region of the fabric panel.
Slip resistant headband
A headband includes a length of fabric material and, attached to its inside surface, a strip of polymeric closed-cell foam material to engage the forehead or hairline of a wearer. The polymeric material has a tread pattern to resist slippage on the forehead, even under heavy perspiration.
CELLULITE DIMINISHING FABRIC
Disclosed is a fabric having a first side and a second side, that is provided at least on part of the first side with a pattern of protrusions, wherein the protrusions comprise an expanded heat-expanding material, namely a heat-expanding material that has been expanded by heating. A polymeric layer is provided to the woven fabric to coat at least part of the protrusions. Also disclosed is a process for the production of the fabric and a garment comprising the fabric.
