20170112211 · 2017-04-27 ·

A laminated material for clothing comprises at least three layers of flexible elastic material, the first, outer, layer comprising a material with a plush surface having a multitude of mini-loops for forming a hook and loop connection with a material, which does not form part of the material of the invention, having a surface having a multitude of mini-hooks, the middle layer being of an elastomeric material and the third, inner, layer being of a non-allergenic elastic material, wherein the material is omnidirectionally stretchable and the strength of the material is such appropriate weighty articles can be attached to the outer surface of a garment made from the material without dragging the garment out of shape, and has moisture wicking and antimicrobial properties, is non-allergenic and has no undesirable skin effects and at least one layer is perforated.

Ergonomic work gloves

Disclosed is a glove that alleviates the biasing force associated with opening or closing the hand and fingers. In some aspects the glove may be formed of a plurality of materials in which one material provides protection for the hand and another enables the hand to flex to the open and closed position.

ARTICLES OF APPAREL INCLUDING AUXETIC MATERIALS
20170099900 · 2017-04-13 ·

An article of apparel includes at least one panel including a first edge and an opposing second edge. The at least one panel includes an auxetic structure defining a primary elongation direction and a secondary elongation direction. A plurality of lace coupling pairs are positioned along the first edge and the second edge of the at least one panel. Each lace coupling pair defines a lace pull direction that is perpendicular to a line extending through two adjacent lace couplings of the lace coupling pair. Each lace pull direction is defined by the plurality of lace couplings substantially in alignment with either the primary elongation direction or the secondary elongation direction of the auxetic structure between the two adjacent lace couplings of the lace coupling pair.

GLOVES WITH SENSORY WINDOWS
20170049167 · 2017-02-23 ·

A glove that is less prone to slip on the hand, and/or that provides for better tactile sensation, and/or that provides a better outer grip. The glove has an outer surface, an inner surface, and one or more of: ridges, an inner grip material, and one or more sensory windows at places where greater tactile sensation is desired. The inner grip material friction with the skin and/or is tacky to help maintain the glove in position on the hand. The glove may also include an outer material and/or throwing grip material.

BABY SLEEP COMFORT SYSTEM
20170027243 · 2017-02-02 ·

An infant comfort cloth system includes a substrate having a length between a first edge and a second edge, and a width and configured to be worn over a shoulder of an adult caregiver. The system also includes one or more storage pockets formed adjacent the first edge and a pillow portion spaced away from the second edge a first predetermined distance and spaced away from the one or more storage pockets a second predetermined distance.

YOGA APPARATUS
20170020212 · 2017-01-26 ·

An athletic strap includes a glove portion including a plantar aspect, a dorsal aspect, and a cavity defined between the plantar and dorsal aspects. The cavity is configured to receive at least part of a hand or a foot of a user. The glove portion further includes a first opening at one end of the glove portion and a second opening at another end of the glove portion. The first and second openings provide ingress to or egress from the cavity. The glove portion further includes a strip extending between the plantar and dorsal aspects. The strip is adjacent to the second opening. The glove portion further includes a first indicium disposed on the plantar aspect. The first indicium extends along a first axis. The first axis is coincident with a portion of the strip.

Microwaveable Compression Gloves
20170014265 · 2017-01-19 ·

Persons find heated gloves desirable for a variety of reasons, including arthritis and cold weather. Having gloves that can be heated in a microwave provides a convenient way to supply heat. By having gloves that are fingerless, use of touch-screen devices and precise work, such as sewing and knitting, is permitted. By having gloves that offer compression, persons with conditions such as arthritis or edema may find them desirable. Additionally, compression may make limbs colder and so the ability to supply heat may be advantageous. This invention offers a set of gloves with combinations of heat, fingerlessness, and compression.

Filtering Face-Piece Respirator With Increased Friction Perimeter
20170014653 · 2017-01-19 ·

A filtering face-piece respirator 10 that includes a harness 14 and a mask body 12 that has a multi-layer filtering structure 16. Present at the perimeter 24 on the interior surface of the mask body 12 is a region having an increased coefficient of friction 44, in relation to the filtering structure 16. This region 44 can be formed by a discontinuous coating of a polymeric material. The region 44 improves the fit of the respirator 10 on the wearer's face, providing a non-slip seal, yet allows moisture laden air to exit from the interior gas space of the mask body 12.

SURGICAL GLOVES HAVING NESTING REGIONS
20250134193 · 2025-05-01 · ·

A glove assembly including identically-configured first and second gloves which are pulled, one over the other, onto a person's hand. The first glove defines an interior cavity which receives the person's hand therein. When the second glove is pulled over the same hand that is covered by the first glove, the first glove is received within an interior cavity of the second glove. Gripping regions on the first and second gloves are complementary in configuration and are located so that when both gloves are pulled over the same hand, the gripping regions on the first and second gloves nest with one another. The glove assembly provides double protection to the person's hand and the nesting of the two gloves ensures tactile sensitivity and finger dexterity are maintained.
