Garment having seam-less elastic band, and system and method for producing such garment
Garment having seam-less elastic band or synthetic band, and system and method for producing such garment. A method of producing a seam-less elastic band (105) comprises: providing an un-folded elongated elastic strip (101); folding at the elongated elastic strip (101) at a folding point (102) to create a first strip portion (102-103) overlapping on top of a second strip portion (103-104) of the elongated elastic strip (101), wherein the first strip portion (102-103) and the second strip portion (103-104) meet at a meeting point (104); performing an ultrasonic operation at the meeting point (104) on said first and second strip portion to create the seam-less elastic band (105) detached from a remainder of the elongated elastic band (101). The ultrasonic operations comprise one or more operations, ultrasonic cutting, ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic bonding, or other suitable ultrasonic operations.
Surgical Eye Mask With Oxygen Monitor
A surgical eye mask device that comprises a frame assembly, the frame assembly includes a frame body, a left eye opening and a right eye opening, a left eye lens coupled to the left eye opening and a right eye opening coupled to the right eye opening, and an oximeter coupled with the left eye lens and the right eye lens for being capable of independently monitoring the oxygen saturation of a patient's left and right eyes intraoperatively.
Wearable performance monitoring, analysis, and feedback systems and methods
The present application relates generally to computer software, mobile electronics, wireless communication links, and wearable monitoring systems. More specifically, techniques, systems, sensors, circuitry, algorithms and methods for wearable monitoring devices and associated exercise apparatus are described. A garment borne sensor system may acquire data on a user's performance during exercise, for example. The data may be analyzed in real time and feedback may be provided to the user based on the analysis. Analysis may be used to alter behavior of the user and/or an apparatus the user is engaged with during an activity, such as exercise, conditioning, therapy, etc. A piece of exercise equipment may be instrumented and in communication with the sensor system or other system and may be controlled in real time to adjust its settings to affect the user during the exercise routine. Communication between the sensor system and other systems may be wireless.
Wetsuit with arms-up construction and method of making same
A wetsuit configured to improve a user's performance, enhance a user's speed and ease with which the user moves through water, provide better control of body temperature in diverse environments and reduce overall fatigue while wearing the garment. A wetsuit having an upper-torso portion, a free-floating flexible collar, sleeves biased in an arms-up configuration and configurable with a lower torso portion.
Swimwear design and construction
A wetsuit is provided which comprises (a) a first central region comprising a first material and having a first thickness; and (b) a second lateral region comprising a second material and having a second thickness. The buoyancy per unit area of the first region is greater than the buoyancy per unit area of the second region.

ANTI-SLIP POCKET LINERS
An anti-slip attachment system and method for retaining items in a storage compartment may be provided. The anti-slip attachment system may include a plurality of malleable, high-friction strip attachments. Each attachment may include an elongated body having a top and bottom surface. The top surface may be composed of slip-resistant material having a high coefficient of friction (e.g., rubber). The bottom surface may include a layer of adhesive material with a release layer affixed thereto. Removal of the release layer may reveal the adhesive material, which may then be used to securely attach the strip attachment to a desired location. The strip attachments may be selectively positioned along an interior surface of a storage compartment to prevent the inadvertent displacement or unauthorized removal of contents stored therein.

Protective garments
Garments made from a composite, protective fabric are disclosed. The composite fabric has textile layers placed in proximity to metallic mesh layers of woven stainless steel mesh. The metal mesh layers formed from any metal which forms suitable fibers. The textile layers are fabric formed with well-known fabric fibers selected from those including para-aramid fibers, meta-aramid fibers, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers, polyethylene terephthalate fibers, cellulose fibers, polyamide fibers, a mixture of para-aramid fibers and meta-aramid fibers, and a mixture of para-aramid fibers and carbon fibers. Forming the non-metal textile layers is by any suitable method for interlacing yarns including weaving, knitting, crocheting, knotting, or felting, or combinations thereof. The garments made using the fabric include gloves, bullet proof vests and chain-saw resistant trousers.
Glasses mounted face shield
A glasses mounted face shield for mounting on a nose bridge of a pair of eyeglasses may include a shield bib fabricated from a flexible, translucent material and having a lock slot cut into the shield bib proximate a bib top edge from a shield front surface to a shield rear surface. A glasses engagement portion with a lock finger may extend upward from the the bib top edge. The lock finger is inserted through the lock slot and engages the shield bib proximate the lock slot to retain the lock finger within the lock slot. The glasses engagement portion may be wrapped around the nose bridge of the eyeglasses and the lock finger inserted through the lock slot to hang the glasses mounted face shield from the eyeglasses and in front of a face of a person wearing the eyeglasses.
