Garmet provided with an inflatable protective device
A garment (10) including an inflatable protective device (11). The device (11) includes at least one inflatable bag (12), an inflator unit (14), sensors (17, 18), and a control unit (19). The bag (12) for moving between a rest condition, wherein it is deflated, and an operating condition, wherein it is inflated. The inflator unit (14) for inflating the bag (12). The sensors (17, 18) for monitoring the user's body for shocks or unexpected movements. The control unit (19) for processing the data provided by the sensors (17, 18) and for activating the inflator unit (14) if, on the basis of the data received by the sensors (17, 18), a danger situation is identified. The garment (10) provided with a display unit (22) which includes an alphanumeric and/or graphical visual display (24) for providing the user with messages and/or symbols about the internal status of the device (11).
PROTECTIVE DEVICE
A protective device for protecting a user, having an inflatable element configured to assume at least an active inflated configuration and a deflated rest configuration. The inflatable element has a first mesh portion and a second mesh portion situated opposite each other and connected together by a plurality of tie elements arranged in a plurality of rows. The inflatable element has at least one preferential curvature and the rows of tie elements are arranged parallel to each other and are oriented transversely or orthogonally with respect to the preferential curvature.
TEXTILE ARTICLE FOR MOTORCYCLIST PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
A protective fabric is described, preferably for motorcyclist professional clothing, said monolayer or coupled fabric comprising at least two coupled fabrics which surprisingly meets all the requirements of the applicable reference standards for abrasion, cut and burst resistance, while maintaining unchanged exceptional characteristics of softness, breathability, comfort, washability.
Neck protection devices
A neck protection device (10) includes a ring (14) that is configured to extend around a wearer's neck and that includes a plurality of elements (12) each defining a passage (16). A tether (18) extends along the passages (16) and a tension device (38) is configured to grip the tether (18) releasably and hold it under tension. The elements (12) are free to move relative to one another, when the tether (18) is not under tension, so that the ring (14) is flexile and can be fitted around the neck, but the elements (12) are drawn into abutting relationship to form a stiff ring (14), when the tether (18) is under tension.
Clothing Weights
A clothing weight for preventing clothing from lifting while riding an outdoor vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a weighted base mold. The weighted base mold defines a recess operable for receiving an inner magnet. An inner magnet is disposed within the recess and is operable to magnetically couple to an outer magnet. The inner magnet is further operable for securing a portion of an article of clothing when magnetically coupled to an outer magnet. An outer magnet is operable for magnetic attraction to the inner magnet. The outer magnet is further operable for securing a portion of an article of clothing when magnetically coupled to the inner magnet. A decorative cap is fixed to the outer magnet.
CLOTHING
A clothing part configured to surround a human body to protect the human body; and an accommodation part connected to the clothing part and configured to provide an accommodation space which is a predetermined space in which a predetermined object is received, wherein the accommodation part may form one surface together with the clothing part as an accommodation coupling part which is a part of the accommodation part is coupled to a clothing coupling part which is a part of the clothing part in a storing portion, and may provide the accommodation space which is a space in which a predetermined object is received, together with the clothing part as the accommodation coupling part and the clothing coupling part are separated from each other and thus a portion of the clothing part and a portion of the accommodation part are spaced apart from each other in an accommodation position.
MULTI-RIDER VEHICLE RETENTION APPAREL
A multi-rider vehicle retention apparel system includes a jacket and one or more gloves. The jacket includes loop fasteners on the front face of the jacket, on both the left and right sides. The gloves have palms covered with hook fasteners able to releasably attach to the loop fasteners on the jacket. In use, the jacket may be worn by a vehicle operator, and the gloves may be worn by a rider seated behind the operator. Using the gloves, the rider may be able to very securely hold onto the operator while riding on the vehicle, reducing fear of losing grip.
DUAL FUNCTIONING HEAD PROTECTION DEVICE
A dual functioning head protection device for a fall prone user including a c-shaped neck collar that is configured to compress the jugular veins of the user during application to the user's neck and an expandable airbag helmet that is removably affixed to the collar. The airbag helmet includes an inflatable innerbag surrounded by an outer hag, such that the structure of the outer bag defines a shape of the airbag helmet when the inner bag is inflated. The inner bag includes a number of chambers which inflate to protect the user's skull during a fall. A trigger device in the collar detects if the user is falling and inflates the airbag helmet in such instances. This dual functioning device also protects the user's brain from brain slosh because of the collar's compression of the user's jugular veins. Compression of the vein sends blood into the skull with each fall impact, which reduces the brain's freedom to jostle around in the skull in a fall.
Motorcycle Forearm and Shin Glider
The present invention relates to motorcycling and devices that facilitate high speed cornering for motorcycle riders, particularly in motorcycle racing. Motorcycle riders lean into turns while cornering with increasing lean angles dependent on the speed and radius of the corner. Improved tire compounds allow increased cornering angles for riders. Riders typically provide support during cornering by dropping their knees and forearms to the ground. Prior art pads exist to protect riders during these cornering maneuvers but have the significant drawback of substantial friction between the ground and the pad. This friction slows the rider, impacts the cornering geometry and creates rider discomfort.
The present invention seeks to solve these problems by providing a forearm and shin glider for motorcycle cornering. The claimed invention includes a deformable base with slits that allow secure and comfortable fit to the rider's arm or leg. An abrasion resistant casing is attached to the base. This casing holds a set of abrasion resistant balls made of high speed smooth abrasion resistant ceramic. The abrasion resistant balls are located by bearings, also manufactured of ceramic. This device allows the rider to make contact with the ground for support during tight cornering maneuvers with substantially reduced and minimized friction. The abrasion resistant balls move smoothly within the bearings and casing and roll when contacting the ground, creating minimal friction but also providing substantial rider support. The glider device is attached to the rider's clothing using Velcro or hook and loop attachment devices.
Lower back entry body suit
A lower back entry body suit consists of a one piece body having a front, a back, a torso covering upper portion and a lower portion that extends from waist to ankle dividing to define a first leg and a second leg. An access entry is provided into the body suit extending part way up the first leg, across the back, and part way down the second leg. This is the only access entry location on the body for the user to don or doff the body suit.
