URINATION RELIEF HATCH FOR WATERPROOF WADERS AND FOUL WEATHER GEAR
A waterproof pair of pants and/or waders includes a sealable opening for relief of bodily fluids. A rigid frame is sealed in a waterproof manner to the pair of pants and/or waders forming a frame aperture. A rigid lid is pivotably connected to the frame. A seal is disposed between the frame and the lid forming a waterproof closure when the lid is in a closed position. An optional rigid backing forms a backing aperture, wherein a first surface of the backing and a back side surface of the frame capture there between the waterproof material. An optional roughened surface can be disposed on the first surface of the backing, on the back side surface of the frame or on the wader material itself. At least one adhesive bond is disposed between the back side surface of the frame and the waterproof material, and/or, between the first surface of the backing and the waterproof material. The backing aperture is equal to or greater in surface area in comparison to the frame aperture.
Waders for modern adventurers
A wader has a body having a chest portion and a lower portion including two leg portions and two boots. The chest portion has first, second, third, and fourth outer pockets. Each of the first and fourth outer pockets has an opening on a side of the wader, while each of the second and third outer pockets has an opening near a midline of the wader. The chest portion has first and second interior pockets, each of which has an opening on an upper side of the pocket. The first interior pocket is adjacent the first outer pocket and inward of the first and second outer pockets; the second interior pocket is adjacent the fourth outer pocket and inward of the third and fourth outer pockets. The first interior pocket is shallower than the second outer pocket and the second interior pocket is shallower than the fourth outer pocket.
Urination relief hatch for waterproof waders and foul weather gear
An improved fishing pant or hunting wader, exposure suit or foul weather pants/bib incorporates a novel waterproof connectable hatch to provide access for urination. The low profile and lightweight waterproof hatch is centered over the groin area and allows the wearer of a fishing wader, or similar foul weather gear pants, to be able to quickly open the hatch and urinate without removing the cumbersome garment. A hinged or connectable lid may swing upwards and downwards and features a hook-and-loop fastener, a magnetic, or mechanical fastener so that the lid is held up in place and out of the way. After urination, the lid may conveniently snap back into place against a seal or O-ring thereby forming a water tight seal. A middle line separates an aperture top half and bottom half, wherein the top half comprises a larger amount of surface area as compared to the bottom half.
CHEST WADER
A chest wader includes a trouser body, a shoe body, and a connecting ring unit. The trouser body and the shoe body wader are detachably connected through the connecting ring unit. The chest wader not only has the advantage of being able to replace the shoe body independently, but also increases the adaptability of matching the trouser bodies and the shoe bodies of different sizes greatly. When a user wears the chest wader in the water for work or leisure activities, the chest wader provides a waterproof function for the lower half of the human body.
FISHING AND OUTDOOR APPAREL AND INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
In some embodiments, the inventive subject matter is directed to a modular waders system that includes: a main waders garment and a covering unit. The covering unit may have multiple functions expressed in one or more layers, the functions being selected from the group of: durability, waterproofness or water resistance, breathability, insulation, cushioning, thermoregulation, and 2-way or 4-way elasticity. The waders system includes a coupling system that makes the covering unit easily donned or removed by the user as conditions dictate. In some embodiments, the inventive subject matter is directed to waders or other garment having a frontside portion with a mobile device holder comprising a flap, the holder configured to contain or couple to a handheld imaging device having a camera, the flap having one edge portion coupled to the other side so that the flap can reposition from a first position to a second position.
