CORD LOCK
A cord lock includes various components used to slidably adjust a cord length, such as one or more housing components that releasably clamp around the cord. In one aspect, the cord lock includes an arrangement of magnets that bias the cord-lock housing components away from one another, in order to secure the cord between the housing components. The housing components can be pressed towards one another to slidably adjust the cord. In a further aspect, the cord lock may also include a magnetized excess-cord retainer that attaches to a portion of the cord and that releasably attaches to the cord lock in order to help gather excess cord pulled through the cord lock.
UTILITY JACKET FOR DOG WALKING
A jacket that is worn by a person walking a dog includes a main torso covering portion which can be closed to protect and provide warmth to the wearer's torso. A leash that can be utilized as a belt can be used to snuggly fit the jacket around the user's waist. The jacket also includes an exterior pocket that includes a roll of waste bags, typically in a roll. The exterior pocket includes an opening on the front surface of the pocket where a grommet is typically attached around the perimeter of the opening. The bag is pulled through the opening in the grommet to gain access to the bag. The lead bag is removed from the roll along the perforation separating the bags such that the walker can manually remove a bag from the pocket and tear the first bag away from the following bag while leaving the following bag in a position that is easily gripped for the next required cleaning.
ADJUSTABLE CLOTHING CINCHER
According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, the device and techniques introduced herein relate to an adjustable clothing cincher. In one embodiment, a garment cincher is disclosed comprising a first garment attachment fastener; a second garment attachment fastener; and a connecting strap affixed to the first garment attachment fastener at a first end of the connecting strap and affixed to the second garment attachment fastener at a second end of the connecting strap. The first garment attachment fastener may be fastened at a first location of a garment. After fastening the first garment attachment fastener, the second garment attachment fastener may be fastened at a second location of the garment such that the connecting strap provides cinching force to the garment.
Clasp
A clasp is provided having a body defining at least one passageway extending at least partially therethrough, at least one pair of engagement portions pivotally mounted across the body and configured to engage an object located in the at least one passageway, and an actuation portion in communication with the at least one pair of engagement portions and biased in the engaged condition. Actuation of the actuation portion causes the at least one pair of engagement portions to disengage from the object against the biasing force.
Firearm supporting ratchet belt with enhanced strength and adjustability
A ratchet belt worn by a user to support a plurality of firearms, tactical gear and equipment thereon is provided. The ratchet belt includes a flexible strip designed to support any number of the plurality of firearms, tactical gear and equipment thereon, a ladder strap coupled to the flexible strip and having a plurality of teeth, and a ratchet assembly coupled to the flexible strip and having a crank arm rotatably mounted to a buckle where the crank arm is designed to engage with one of the plurality of teeth on the ladder strap. The flexible strip is disposed around the user to permit the first end of the ladder strap to insert through the buckle of the ratchet assembly. The crank arm is rotatably adjusted to engage with one of the plurality of teeth in the ladder strap to enable the flexible strip to conform to the user.
Wireless energy transfer system and wearables
Disclosed are systems for wireless energy transfer including transcutaneous energy transfer. Embodiments are disclosed for user interface (UI) hubs to connect multiple batteries and to output system information to a patient. Embodiments are further disclosed for garments and devices to be worn by a patient requiring treatment. The garments are configured for a desired placement of a transmitter coil relative to a body of the patient and for facilitating patient comfort and quality of life. Methods for manufacturing and using the devices and the systems are also disclosed.

APPAREL POCKET SYSTEM
Aspects herein provide for a pocket structure for an apparel item. The apparel item comprises an outer panel of material, an inner panel of material, a pocket panel, and a double-layer trim piece such as a waistband. A top edge of the outer panel is affixed to an outer layer of the waistband, and a top edge of the inner panel is affixed to an inner layer of the waistband. The pocket panel is positioned between the inner panel and the outer panel, and a top edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the outer layer of the waistband, and a bottom edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the inner panel of material. A pocket space is defined between the pocket panel and the inner panel of material. An opening to the space is formed through the outer layer of the waistband.
Device and technique for securing laces
A device for use in securing two or more laces on an article of clothing includes (a) a piece of flexible and elastic material having shear-resistive properties and an initial disk-like shape and (b) a hole formed in the material. When the laces are inserted through the hole a first time, wrapped together around a portion of the piece of material, inserted together through the hole a second time, and pulled tightly in opposite directions, the material deforms to (1) assume a self-herniated shape in which the material grips the laces and folds upon itself and the laces toward the hole, and (2) retain the self-herniated shape and secure the laces in place after pulling forces are removed from the laces.
CORD LOCK APPARATUS AND BELT WITH SAME
An article of clothing in the form of a belt includes: a cord having a proximal end and a distal end; and an eyelet having an opening and a locking feature; wherein the proximal end of the cord is looped around the eyelet; the distal end of the cord is configured to pass through the opening, wherein the cord and the eyelet combine to form a continuous closed loop when the distal end of the cord is passed through the opening; and the locking feature is structured and arranged to selectively lock and unlock movement of the cord through the opening.
