Disclosed is an artificial tree having a plurality of electrified tree sections that couple together to provide power and/or command signals to devices connected thereto. Modular lighted tree
A lighted artificial tree includes a first tree portion including a first trunk portion, first branches joined to the first trunk portion, and a first light string. The first trunk portion has a trunk connector and a first trunk wiring assembly, the first trunk wiring assembly is electrically connectable to the first light string and the trunk connector, and at least a portion of the first wiring assembly is located inside the first portion. The second tree portion includes a second trunk portion, second branches, and a second light string. The second trunk portion has a trunk connector and a second trunk wiring assembly, the second trunk wiring assembly electrically connectable to the second lighting string and the trunk connector. The second tree portion may be mechanically coupled and electrically connected to the first tree portion by coaxially coupling the first trunk portion to the second trunk portion.
Wall flower lamp
A wall flower lamp having an LED powered receptacle portion with a back face for mounting on a wall; a ring of sectorial, artificial sepals covering the front face; an LED mounted centrally on the front face and, a series of narrow elongate, artificial petals extending from the eye radially outwards over respective individual artificial sepals, each petal mounting a LED string extending over center lines of respective sepals for illuminating surfaces of respective sepals in respective different colors simultaneously. The sepals have out-turned, radially extending edges that combine forming respective radially extending out-turned cusps providing a light barrier enabling the individual sepals to capture and reflect colored light from a respective overlying LED string while preventing the light leaking/bleeding onto an adjacent sepal of different color. A receiver/controller and power supply is responsive to signals from a hand held remote controller whereby the receptacle, individual sepals and the eye can be illuminated in desired or predetermined sequences of respectively different colors and/or shades.
Low voltage coupling design
Apparatus and associated methods relate to an electrical interface design architecture to independently excite each of a network of light strings and/or light string controllers with any of a number of independent excitation signals. In an illustrative example, each of the light strings may receive a selected one of the excitation signals conducted via a wiring assembly to an interface formed as a plug or a corresponding socket. In some embodiments, the interface may galvanically connect one or more of the excitation signals to a corresponding load according to user-selection of a relative orientation between the plug and the socket. In some implementations the load may include a down-stream controller that draws operating power through a selected one of the conductors at the interface. In various implementations, the interface may supply a load such as a multi-channel cable or single channel light string, for example.
LIGHT FUNNELED ILLUMINATED EDGE DECORATION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A light funneled illuminated edge decoration assembly includes a support shaft having a bottom end and a top end. Each of a plurality of decorative elements is comprised of a single, unitary panel. The decorative elements each have a central area with an aperture extending therethrough. The support shaft is extendable through the apertures to allow the decorative elements to be stacked on each other. Each of the decorative elements has an upper surface and a lower surface each being non-planer. The decorative elements are each comprised of a fluorescent acrylic material. A retention member is mounted on the support shaft and releasably engages the decorative elements to retain the decorative elements on the support shaft.

Apparatus and associated methods may relate to an artificial tree apparatus having a plurality of trunk segments that couple together to provide a plurality of information or command signals to load devices connected thereto. In an illustrative example, one or more branch segments having light emitting devices are connected to the trunk segments to independently receive the electrical power and command signals via a control system. In some implementations, each command signal generated by the control system may include data pertaining to light color and illumination pattern. In some embodiments, each branch segment and associated light emitting devices may be independently controlled via a multi-channel arrangement. In some implementations, each group of light emitting devices may be manually configured via one or more user-interfaces. In various implementations, each trunk segment may include an axial electrical connector which permits adjacent trunk segments from being connected in any radial orientation relative to each other.
