An exemplary wig grip apparatus includes a first securement member, a second securement member and a mesh element. The securement members are comprised of a flexible fabric. The mesh element is transparent and affixed to inboard portions of the securement elements. The outboard portions may be configured to be placed into releasable gripping engagement with one another by way of mutually-engageable complementary fastener elements. The securement members each include a forward edge and an opposing rearward edge. The mesh element may include a frontal segment having a forward periphery. The forward periphery is preferably in alignment with the forward edges. The mesh element may include a parting-line segment extending oppositely of the forward periphery. The width of the frontal segment may be greater than the corresponding width of the parting-line segment. Moreover, the parting-line segment may include a rearward periphery in alignment with the rearward edges.

There is provided a wig base comprising: a first elastic portion having a first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, second elastic portion(s) connected to the first elastic portion, having a second modulus of elasticity that is larger than the first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, and a position holding portion which is a member connected to the second elastic portion, and which holds own hairs or a skin of a wearer located at the position of the member, wherein the first elastic portion, the second elastic portion and the positon holding portion are placed in the order thereof from a top of the head while wearing the wig, and wherein the positon holding portion pulls up a skin of the face of a wearer towards a top of the head while wearing the wig.

Disclosed herein are embodiments of a headband for securing a wig on a user's head, methods for manufacturing a wig-securing headband, and methods for wearing a wig-securing headband. The headband can have an exterior panel and an interior panel. The interior panel can include an opening. The headband can include an intermediate layer disposed between the exterior panel and the interior panel. The headband can include a silicone member coupled to the intermediate layer. The silicone member can extend along a longitudinal axis of the headband. At least a portion of the silicone member can be disposed in the opening of the interior panel.

The present invention is an apparatus for head wear comprising a swimming cap portion that is breathable, and protects the hair and scalp of the user from water and other watery substance(s); and a wig portion that has the versatility/appearance of natural hair, and retains a desired style even after multiple use.

A wig apparatus is provided. The wig apparatus includes: a mesh base comprising an inner surface, an outer surface, a fold portion and a terminal edge portion; a band member comprising a first surface, a second surface, a top edge and a bottom edge, wherein the first surface is coupled to the inner surface of the mesh base and wherein the second surface is coupled to the inner surface of the mesh base; a first portion of artificial hair coupled to at least the outer surface of the mesh base adjacent to the first surface; and a second portion of artificial hair coupled to the outer surface of the mesh base adjacent to the second surface.

The wig grip includes an elastomeric body having a hair contact side opposite a wig contact side and a first end opposite a second end. A plurality of hair attachment members disposed along the hair contact side of the elastomeric body. The hair attachment members are operable to attach to the hair of a user. A plurality of grip members is disposed along the wig contact side of the elastomeric body. The grip members are operable to engage and retain an underside of a wig. A fastener is operable to connect said first end of the elastomeric body to said second end of the elastomeric body.

A wig apparatus is provided.
