METHOD FOR PREPARING SELF-FLOATING TRANSPARENT NANO ULTRATHIN FILM
The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a self-floating transparent nano ultrathin film. According to the present disclosure, the MXene film layer and the nano ultrathin film layer are sequentially subjected to suction filtration on the substrate material by utilizing a vacuum suction filtration technology, and thus a double-film structure is loaded on the substrate material; then an oxidant is subjected to oxidizing and bubbling on the MXene film layer in a permeation way, and thus the substrate material and the nano ultrathin film layer can be separated in a physical isolating manner. Finally, the nano ultrathin film is completely separated in a liquid phase floating separation manner. The nano ultrathin film prepared by the method provided by the present disclosure has a specific thickness and light transmittance through different loading capacities, and the substrate material can be repeatedly utilized.
AMMONIUM OCTAMOLYBDATE METAL HYDROXIDE COMPLEXES AND USES THEREOF AS SMOKE SUPPRESSANTS
Processes for producing ammonium octamolybdate/metal hydroxide complexes include the steps of pre-contacting ammonium dimolybdate and a metal hydroxide, and then contacting molybdenum trioxide, to form the ammonium octamolybdate/metal hydroxide complexes. The resulting complexes contain the metal hydroxide and from 1 to 95 wt. % of ammonium octamolybdate, and generally, at least 80 wt. % of the ammonium octamolybdate in the complex is present in an orthorhombic crystalline form. These ammonium octamolybdate/metal hydroxide complexes can be used as smoke suppressants in polymer compositions, such as PVC-based and epoxy-based formulations.
Highly transparent aluminum nitride single crystalline layers and devices made therefrom
The invention provides highly transparent single crystalline AlN layers as device substrates for light emitting diodes in order to improve the output and operational degradation of light emitting devices. The highly transparent single crystalline AlN layers have a refractive index in the a-axis direction in the range of 2.250 to 2.400 and an absorption coefficient less than or equal to 15 cm-1 at a wavelength of 265 nm. The invention also provides a method for growing highly transparent single crystalline AlN layers, the method including the steps of maintaining the amount of Al contained in wall deposits formed in a flow channel of a reactor at a level lower than or equal to 30% of the total amount of aluminum fed into the reactor, and maintaining the wall temperature in the flow channel at less than or equal to 1200° C.
