SILOXANE REMOVAL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20230096898 · 2023-03-30 ·

Systems for and methods of treating a fluid containing siloxanes, silanes and/or other silicon compounds. A hot box is configured to receive an initial flow of the fluid, react the flow with water at a temperature and pressure suitable for hydrolysis to generate a first treated flow, in which at least a portion is hydrolyzed to produce silicon dioxide and methane, and discharge the first treated flow. A solid removal mechanism can be configured to receive the first treated flow, separate at least a portion of the silicon dioxide as solid material, and discharge the remaining components as a second treated flow. Techniques of the present disclosure can lead to very low siloxane levels.

Liquid dispenser having peltier

A liquid dispenser may include a container having an upper opening, a pump provided in the container, a pipe through which liquid discharged from the pump is transferred, a top plate having an upper surface over which liquid flows, a filter assembly provided below the top plate, a base provided below the container, and a thermoelectric element provided in the base to cool the liquid in the container.

DEVICE FOR TREATING ALGAE IN WATERS OF INTEREST USING HIGH-VOLTAGE MICRO PULSE DISCHARGE

An algae treatment device of the present invention is installed in a ship or a barge and selectively destroys only the air-sacs of algae by discharging high-voltage micro pulses into waters of interest in which green tide or red tide has occurred. Thus, the algae treatment device can efficiently solve green tide or red tide by treating algae using a minimal amount of chemicals, or none at all.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING HIGH CONCENTRATION WATER ON TWO SIDES OF REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE

A control system has a water purification module and a control module. The water purification module has a preliminary filter and a reverse osmosis filter. The control module regularly controls the purification and the drainage of the water purification module, and solves the problem that the TDS value of the water on both sides of the reverse osmosis membrane is too high after the water purifier is on standby for a period of time. The control system regularly drains high concentration water on both sides of the reverse osmosis membrane to improve water purification efficiency.

NANONETS FOR REMOVAL OF CONTAMINANTS FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS, KITS THEREFOR AND METHODS OF THEIR USE

Provided are nanonets comprising a) a surfactant aggregate having an average aggregate diameter; and b) a polymer having an average particle diameter which average particle diameter is the same or smaller than the average aggregate diameter, wherein the nanonet has a diameter larger than the average particle diameter. Also provided are kits therefor and methods for sequestering non-water moieties from aqueous solutions using nanonets.

Provided are anti-pathogenic sintered nanoparticle compounds made of zeolite, silver nitrate (AgNO.sub.3), silver dioxide nanoparticles (Ag.sub.2O np), and graphene. Provided are enhanced granulated activated charcoal (EGAC) compounds made of granulated activated charcoal, silver nitrate (AgNO.sub.3), silver dioxide nanoparticles (Ag.sub.2O np), and graphene. Uses of the same are provided, including in enhanced filtration systems and/or pressurized wastewater filtration plants.

WATER TREATMENT DEVICE AND SYSTEM USING HYDROXYL RADICALS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
20220348484 · 2022-11-03 ·

Water treatment and purification system as disclosed herein relates to a PLC controlled system utilizing a hydroxyl radical generation unit and system to treat polluted water. The system uses a hydroxyl-based advanced oxidation based on natural processes that keeps our atmosphere clean and breathable. This technology creates its own high concentration of hydroxyls that are put through a venturi system into the water to be purified to eliminate unwanted organic compounds such as hydrogen sulfide, pathogens, chloride resistant parasites, and harmful bacteria. The system can also reduce inorganic contaminants including iron and manganese.

DRAIN PROTECTOR

A drain protector includes a basket and a wiper. The basket includes a basket body having first water openings. The basket body includes a seal at an upper first end and a retention member at a lower second end. The basket body is sized to be received in an associated drain, the seal for directly sealingly engaging an outer surface of the associated drain, and the retention member for directly engaging an inner surface of the associated drain. The wiper includes a wiper body having second water openings. The wiper body is removably mounted within the basket body for entrapping debris within water and removing the debris from within the basket body.

COMPACT WATER HEATING AND TREATMENT SYSTEM

A water heating and treatment system includes a water heater operatively coupled to a water heater controller, a hot water outflow line from the water heater, and a cold water supply line to supply water to the water heater. The cold water supply line includes at least one of an anti-scale device operatively coupled to an anti-scale device controller, and at least one sanitation device operatively coupled to a sanitation device controller. The mixing station is operatively coupled to a mixing station controller. The mixing station supplies heated water to at least a first temperature zone at a first hot water temperature. Controllers of the water heater controller, the anti-scale device controller, the sanitation device controller and the mixing station controller are co-located at a front of a single enclosure behind an openable door, the controllers operatively coupled to a supervisory controller.

GASIFICATION SYSTEM AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT METHOD

A gasification system according to an aspect includes a scrubber device to transfer contaminant contained in a flammable gas to cleaning water and discharge the cleaning water containing the contaminant as scrubber wastewater, a heat exchange device to heat the scrubber wastewater to vaporize the contaminant contained in the scrubber wastewater; and a combustion furnace to incinerate the vaporized contaminant, wherein the heat exchange device heats the scrubber wastewater by using heat generated by the combustion furnace.
