MOUNT FOR WATER CIRCULATOR
A mount for a water circulator is described that is configured to control vertical adjustment and angular (or horizontal) adjustment of a water circulation assembly using independent mechanisms on the mount that mounts the water circulator to a support structure.
MEMBRANE FILTER APPARATUS FOR LIQUID MIXTURES
A membrane filter apparatus for splitting a feed into filtrate and retentate is provided. The apparatus comprises a body chamber, a feed inlet disposed on the body chamber, a retentate outlet located in the body chamber, a feed distribution tube connected to the feed inlet, and a filter assembly having a filter. The feed distribution tube has a length sufficient to cause the feed to enter the body chamber at a feed distance from the filter assembly of no greater than 50% of a total length of the body chamber. The feed flows across the filter in a direction parallel to a surface of the filter assembly. The filtrate passes through the filter assembly and the retentate flows through the body chamber in a direction antiparallel to the feed flow through the feed distribution tube and out through the retentate outlet.
Ballast water, bilge water, slop water, or oily water treatment systems and related methods
Disclosed are remote oily water treatment systems, including systems and related methods of remote oily water treatment with point-of-treatment discharge of treated water. In a preferred embodiment, (a) oily water is treated at a location proximate to where the oily water by passing the oily water through a tank containing a medium defined by at least one polymer mixed with activated carbon and (b) treated water is discharged at the point-of-treatment of the oily water.
Water vapor distillation apparatus, method and system
A system for water dispensing. The system includes a housing comprising a first and second portion; a water vapor distillation apparatus housed in the first portion of the housing, the water vapor distillation apparatus producing a distilled water product; at least one storage tank housed in the second portion of the housing and fluidly connected to the water vapor distillation apparatus; at least one pump housed in the second portion of the housing and fluidly connected to the at least one storage tank; and at least one appliance located outside of the housing and fluidly connected to the at least one pump, wherein the distilled water product is stored in the at least one storage tank and the pump pumps water from the at least one storage tank to the at least one appliance.
Water dispensing device for dispensing water having consistent taste
The water dispensing device of the present invention with the given flow path of water and the control circuit configured store at least two threshold TDS values X.sub.A and X.sub.B, wherein X.sub.A is a higher TDS value than X.sub.B; and to drain water from the treatment unit through the drain line, when TDS value sensed is higher than X.sub.A, and alternately when the sensed value of TDS is less than X.sub.B then direct water from the reject line into the first recycle line; it was seen that the TDS of the output water of the device was in a constant range and the device of the present invention also contributed to minimizing the wastage of water by allowing recycling of water through the reject line of the treatment unit.
DOUBLE PIPE FOR UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTING FLOW
The present invention relates to a double pipe and, more specifically, to a double pipe for uniformly distributing a flow, which can distribute as uniformly as possible a flow which should be distributed toward branch pipes thereof. The present invention relates to a double pipe for uniformly distributing a flow, and can be applied to a seawater desalination device or a water purification device using a membrane and can be thus employed in the water treatment plant industry.
Water treatment device and water treatment method
A water treatment device includes, between at least two flat sheet-shaped grounded electrodes vertically disposed so as to be parallel to each other, a sheet-shaped high-voltage electrode having two edges opposing the respective grounded electrodes. The sheet-shaped high-voltage electrode is supported by a plurality of support members, and thus deformation of the high-voltage electrode in an up/down direction and a horizontal direction is suppressed, and the distance between each edge of the high-voltage electrode and the corresponding grounded electrode, i.e., an electric discharge gap length, can be kept even. Accordingly, uniform electric discharge can be maintained between the high-voltage electrode and the grounded electrode, whereby highly efficient water treatment can be realized.
Fluid stream management systems and methods thereof
Fluid stream management systems and methods relating thereto are described. The fluid management system includes a neural network, which comprises: (i) an input layer that is communicatively coupled to one or more fluid facility sensors and/or one or more pre-processing flow sensors such that one or more of the flow condition attribute values are received the neural network; (ii) one or more intermediate layers, which are configured to constrain one or more of the flow condition attribute values to arrive at modified flow condition attribute values; (iii) an output layer, which transmits, one or more modified flow condition attribute values to a downstream control device. This control device and other computation devices perform certain calculations that ultimately inform a flow controller, which in turn, instructs a flow-directing device regarding management of fluid streams.
WATER DISTRIBUTION UNIT FOR WATER RECIRCULATION SYSTEM
The present invention describes a system (1) enabling treating water from a water tank (3), which water tank (3) is arranged in a water distribution architecture also comprising one or more user units (8), said system (1) also enabling recycling of water or discarding of water not suitable to recycle, said system (1) comprising a water distribution unit (2), at least one water treating unit (6) and a sensor unit (7) arranged for measurement of at least water quality, said water distribution unit (2) comprising one common user unit inlet 9 connectable via piping to said one or more user units (8) on their used water output side; said water distribution unit (2) further comprising a contaminated water outlet (10); and said water distribution unit (2) further comprising at least one water recirculation port (1000) connectable via piping to the water tank (3) to enable flowing water between the water distribution unit (2) and the water tank (3); and wherein said at least one water treating unit (6) enables to treat water to increase the water quality thereof and where the sensor unit (7) is connected to a control unit, which, based on the measurement of the water quality, is arranged to decide if water should be recycled to the water tank (3) from the water distribution unit (2) or should be discarded via the contaminated water outlet (10) from the water distribution unit (2).
