PALLET COATING WASTE RECOVERY SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a self-contained unit having a system for recovering polymer over spray from a pallet coating process. The self-contained unit includes a common enclosure having at least four walls, a ceiling and a floor. There is a collection tank located below the floor of the common enclosure and a roof platform is located above the ceiling of the common enclosure. Within the common enclosure is at least one spray booth having a waterfall wall with liquid flowing down a face of the waterfall wall to the collection tank. Mounted on the roof platform is a consolidation tank, hydrocyclone and pressure filter that are all part of the system for removing the polymer from the over spray mixture collected at the collection tank.
HYDRODYNAMIC CAVITATION SYSTEM FOR THE REMOVAL OF UNWANTED, TOXIC, OR CONTAMINATED ORGANIC AND INORGANIC COMPOUNDS
An advanced hydrodynamic cavitation system includes a housing, a first stator with angled ridges, a second stator that is circular with angled ridges, a rotor having rotor blades housed within the second stator, and a driveshaft, and is configured to work with a motor, a pump, and oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide or ozone to form free radicals. Hydrodynamic cavitation occurs (1) on the leading edge of the rotor blades; (2) in the constriction between the rotor blades, depending on the design; (3) in the gap between the first stator and the rotor blades; and (4) in the gap between the second stator and the rotor blades. The four cavitation regions may coalesce to become a steady-state supercavitation cloud that removes unwanted, toxic or contaminated organic and inorganic compounds, specifically with the ability to treat and decontaminate sludge, wastewater, ballast water, drinking water, harmful algal blooms, and biomedical waste.
MINERAL-CONTAINING COMPOSITION FOR PRODUCING ICE FOR IMPROVING FLAVOR OF WATER OR BEVERAGE
Produced in an ice that can be added to water or drink to improve the flavor thereof. Provided is a mineral-containing composition containing potassium ions the concentration of which is the highest of the metal ions present in the mineral-containing composition.
Cyclone Separator for Wastewater Treatment in Microgravity
A passive cyclone separator to treat a fluid in a microgravity environment to separate a liquid phase of the fluid from a gas phase of the fluid, comprising a tubular body having a longitudinal axis and internally defining a separation chamber within which the gas phase of the fluid is separable, in use, from the liquid phase of the fluid; an inlet opening through which the fluid is injectable, in use, into the separation chamber along an injection axis; a liquid phase outlet opening, through which the liquid phase separated from the gas phase exits, in use, the separation chamber; and a gas phase outlet opening, through which the gas phase separated from the liquid phase exits, in use, the separation chamber; the injection axis is inclined towards the liquid phase outlet opening so as to define a non-zero fluid injection angle with a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal axis.

GENERATOR OF A VORTEX BRAID BROKEN UP INTO A SYSTEM OF TOROID VORTICES
The invention relates to a generator and its operation and use for generating toroidal and spatial vortices in a liquid. It comprises a rotationally symmetrical stator housing with an inlet opening and an eccentric outlet opening. It further comprises a rotor rotatably arranged in the stator housing with radially outwardly extending channels in constant fluid connection to the inlet opening. The rotor comprises a rotor disc, radially outside of the rotor with a side surface with inner notches in fluid connection to the rotor channels. The stator housing comprises a stator disc comprising a side surface with stator notches. When these notches face each other due to rotation of the rotor disc, a periodical liquid flow from the inner notches to the stator notches is formed and toroidal vortices are generated in the portioned liquid by shear stress as the portions of liquid move back and forth in the notches.
Universal Chemical Processor
A universal chemical processor (UCP) including a reactor vessel with a main chamber, comprises inlets for feedstock, a fluidizing medium and reactants. The UCP further includes a reactive X-ray chemical processor (RXCP) having a large area hollow cylindrical cold cathode in the main chamber, a grid positioned concentrically with respect to the cathode, and an anode positioned concentrically with respect to the cathode and grid. In operation, when activated, the cathode of the RXCP emits electrodes onto the anode, which then emits X-rays into a radiation zone within the main chamber capable of ionizing feedstock and reactants, inducing chemical reactions, and sterilizing and decomposing organic materials within the radiation zone, and wherein, a fluidized bed is supported in the main chamber when the fluidizing medium and feedstock are supplied. The RXCP and the fluidized bed portions can be operated separately or in conjunction to achieve unanticipated results.
Subsea processing of crude oil
A subsea production unit for subsea treatment of oil has a frame that supports an onboard multiphase separation system for separating gas and water from a wellstream containing oil. The subsea production unit also includes an onboard water treatment system for cleaning oil from water that is produced by the separation system.
