Beverage dispenser for high hygienic requirements
A beverage dispenser includes an inlet for drawing a liquid from a source and an outlet for outputting a beverage to a portable user vessel. A demineralization device demineralizes the liquid from the source and has an input and an output. The input of the demineralization device is coupled with the inlet. A beverage preparation device has an input and an output. The input of the beverage preparation device is coupled with the output of the demineralization device and the output of the beverage preparation device is coupled with the outlet. The beverage preparation device, the outlet, all active components and all passive components downstream of the demineralization device contacting the beverage are made of a biological inert material, particularly a biological inert metal, on any surface contacting the water. All couplings of the beverage dispenser are manufactured such that stagnation even of small quantities of beverage is avoided.
Water treatment device
A water treatment device can include a main body in the form of a main chamber and having an upper portion, a lower portion, a main inlet for receiving a flow of water into the main body and a main outlet for discharging a flow of water from the main body. In some embodiments an insert member disposed within the main chamber at the upper portion includes a return and bypass channel providing fluid communication between the main inlet and the main outlet. In some embodiments a filter assembly disposed within the main chamber and below the insert member includes a treatment chamber in fluid communication with the main inlet and is adapted for filtering water that flows through the filter assembly.
Water treatment system
A water treatment system is provided with an untreated water reservoir having a cavity through which a filter assembly may traverse such that untreated water in the cavity passes through the filter assembly into a treated water reservoir. Removal of the filter assembly may be facilitated by a seal disengagement element operable to unseat a seal formed during efforts to direct untreated water through the filter assembly.
WATER PURIFICATION MODULE
The water purification module includes a tubular receiving container with a base member and a removable lid with through bores, through which liquid to be purified may be supplied at the top into the interior of the receiving container. The water purification module also includes a tubular filter insert, which is removably suspended within the inner wall of the receiving container and is sealed with respect to the inner wall of the receiving container by an annular seal, and at least one extraction opening for purified liquid, which extends through the wall of the receiving container and/or the base member.
Modular CO.SUB.2 .sequestration units and systems, and methods for using the same
Shippable modular units configured for use in sequestering CO.sub.2 are provided. Aspects of the units include a support having one or more of: a CO.sub.2 gas/liquid contactor subunit, a carbonate production subunit and an alkali enrichment subunit; associated therewith. Also provided are systems made up of one or more such modular units, and methods for using the units/systems in CO.sub.2 sequestration protocols.
DEVICE FOR PURIFYING DRINKING WATER IN MULTIPLE STAGES
A device for purifying drinking water in multiple stages by combining orthogonal purification technologies in one module is described, where the device comprises a housing, a water inlet opening, a water outlet opening, a hollow cylinder which is filled with activated carbon, and a hollow cylinder with a semipermeable wall, wherein the hollow cylinder contains a chelating bactericidal gel or a chelating and bactericidal gel for removing heavy metals or bacteria or for removing heavy metals and bacteria.
Purification filter element and water purification cup
The present disclosure relates to water purification devices, and more particularly to a purification filter element and a water purification cup. The purification filter element includes a housing including a sterilization case, an activated carbon filtering section and an ion exchange resin filtering section from bottom to top. The sterilization case includes a first casing which is filled with brominated polystyrene hydantoin and a first filter screen. A gap is formed between the bottoms of the first casing and the housing. A flow limit hole is provided at the bottom of the housing. The water purification cup includes the purification filter element and a cup body. A water feed cup is detachably fastened in the cup body. A bottom of the water feed cup is connected to the housing of the purification filter element through a connection hole.
MODULAR FILTRATION PLATFORM
A modular filtration platform having at least one manifold head and at least one respective filter cartridge assembly. Each manifold head is connected to one another to establish a water flow in a series or parallel manner. Each filter cartridge assembly is releasably secured from rotation relative to the manifold head by a locking mechanism. An aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar mates with a protruding resilient extension on either the manifold head or support bracket. Alternatively, an aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar and an aperture on the manifold head annular collar mate with a protruding member from a locking ring extending through both apertures. An integrated sensor package may be integrated with the system for true managed water visible/audible indications and Wi-Fi interface to facilitate virtually instantaneous response times for filtration needs.
