A weave may be created by attaching multiple, unwefted hair extensions to a series of braided rows of a person's natural hair using the strands of unwefted hair extensions to secure such hair extensions, by looping and knotting the hair extensions, to the braided rows of the person's natural hair. The method advantageously secures the hair extensions to the person's natural hair without using harmful chemicals or damaging the person's hair or scalp and such that the hair extensions may appear to be the person's natural hair. The hair extensions may be removed from the person's natural hair without cutting or damaging the person's natural hair.

The tinsel strands comprise one or more colors, including glow-in-the-dark. The hair strands comprise real or artificial hair; and a variety of natural or non-natural hair colors. The lace mesh may comprise an overhang onto the scalp without strands, not easily detectable because it is colored matched to the user’s skin tone. The overhang may be cut back to the user’s forehead.

The invention can be used by persons that use tape-in style hair extensions. The invention includes a flat panel with several horizontal entry points aligned in rows. Both sides of the panel are utilized. A tape-in style hair extension is fed into the panel through a horizontal entry point from one side and comes through on the other side. The hair is then fastened by the clip/fastener on the opposite side just above the horizontal entry point. Vertically, each set of horizontal entry points, coupled with a clip/fastener on the opposite side, is also spaced apart leaving room for the user to have workspace for each individual hair extension. Once the hair extension is secured by the clip/fastener, the user can then remove the old tape-tab and prepare the tape-in style hair extension for reuse by adhering a new tape tab to each extension.

Micro links are secure to either the back side of the first band or the back side of the second band, or both. The back sides of the two bands are sandwiched together with the micro links therebetween and with the extension hair exposed either exteriorly or interiorly. Also provided is a micro link wrapped with a material on which extension hair is secured. The wearer's native hair is pulled through an inner annulus of the micro link, thus concealing the micro link from view.

The hair is colored a first color, the bundle realigned, so that the ends of the hair strands are varied in length at the top portion. Then the top half of the hair bundle is color processed to a second color. Again, the strands are realigned and the varied length hair ends are returned to the tail portion. This results in a sombre colored hair extension with a mid-section of the hair bundle that contains transitorily colored hair with a blend of the first color in the top portion of the hair bundle with the second color in the tail portion of the hair bundle.
