SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR EXTENSION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING SAME
The disclosure includes embodiments of a semi-permanent hair extension apparatus and a method or installing the same. The semi-permanent hair extension apparatus can include a plurality of microbeads and a plurality of hair extension wefts. The plurality of microbeads can each include an opening for receiving a plurality of strands of human hair longitudinally therethrough, and a receiving component positioned thereon so as to releasably connect the microbead to a hair extension weft. Each of the plurality of hair extension wefts can include a plurality of strands of hair connected thereto and one or more fastening components positioned thereon and being complementary to each of the one or more receiving components so as to facilitate a removable connection therebetween. The method can include securing a plurality of microbeads to one or more strands of human hair at predetermined intervals and connecting extension wefts to each of the plurality of microbeads.
MAGNETIC HAIR ACCESSORY AND METHOD
A hair accessory is provided for supplementing and/or replacing hair using a magnetic installation techniques. The magnetic hair accessory may include hair material, magnetic material, a coating, an active face, a neutral face, a score, top piece and/or magnetic band. A method for supplementing and/or replacing hair using a magnetic hair accessory is also provided.
HAIR EXTENSIONS AND METHOD OF ATTACHMENT
Hair extensions utilizing an angled hair extension strip are disclosed. The hair extensions comprise a plurality of hair strands; and an angled flexible hair extension strip that holds the plurality of hair strands, the angled flexible hair extension strip having a first side end and an opposing second side end, where the first side end and the second side end are located in different horizontal planes; and wherein each of the hair strands comprises a first end that is held, by the angled flexible hair extension strip, and a second end that is unattached, wherein the first ends of the hair strands are arranged in a thin layer; wherein the second ends of the hair strands are parallel to a horizontal plane; and wherein the first ends of the hair strands are located in multiple horizontal planes.
MAGNETIC HAIR EXTENSIONS
A magnetic hair extension apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus can use a magnet, which enables the apparatus to be conveniently applied and removed from the hair of a user. The apparatus includes a first portion having a magnet and a hair weft, and a second portion having magnetic material and a hair weft. To wear, the second portion is placed over the first portion with the hair of the user sandwiched between the first portion and the second portion. The magnet is attracted to the magnetic material and thus, can securely attach the apparatus to the hair of the user. A combination of these materials results in an easy to use, easy to remove, easy to transport, and harmless hair extension apparatus.
Hair extension device and method
A hair extension device is provided that does not prematurely slip or fall out of the user's natural hair when in use. The hair extension device is configured to wrap around a user's natural hair when their natural hair is in a bun or ponytail. The hair extension device includes: a cord member configured in a loop; and an artificial hair extension member coupled to the cord member, the artificial hair extension member comprising a plurality of strands of artificial hair.
Hair Extension Assembly
A hair extension assembly for attachment to a user's hair, includes a first portion including a hair extension strip having a first side to which a first weft of hair is attached; and a second portion including a second hair extension strip having a first side to which a second weft of hair is attached. The first and second portions each include a second side. At least one of the strips includes fasteners on the second side and the other of the strips includes a complementary surface that may include includes fasteners on the second side. The fasteners matingly engage the first and second portions, with the user's hair disposed between the first and second strips when the first and second portions matingly engage.
Hair Extension Assemblies and Methods
Disclosed herein are assemblies and methods for extending and/or thickening hair. A weft of hair or hair-like strands are coupled together at a first end at an elongate connection strip. The connection strip is made from a solid material and has an elongate shape. A length of the elongate shape of the connection strip is substantially greater than a width and a thickness of the connection strip. The length of the connection strip defines a width of the weft of hair. A set of magnets is coupled to the connection strip. A second connection strip is coupled to a second set of magnets. The second connection strip corresponds to the first connection strip and the second set of magnets are positioned to magnetically couple to the first set of magnets to engage, grip, pinch, squeeze, hold, or otherwise secure a portion of naturally growing hair of a user to secure the assembly to the hair of the user.
System and method of supplementing human hair volume
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for supplementing human hair. A system and method includes a wire coupled to an existing hair, wherein the wire pulls the existing hair through a funnel and microtube. A sleeve with supplemental hairs is positioned on the microtube and configured to be coupled to the existing hair. After the existing hair passes through the microtube, the wire, funnel, and microtube are removed, thus leaving the supplemental hairs coupled to the existing hair via the sleeve. An alternative system and method includes one or more tools for installing two halves of a sleeve with supplemental hairs extending therefrom onto a strand of existing hair. The one or more tools are configured to guide the strand of existing hair into engagement with the halves of the sleeve, thus securing the sleeve and the supplemental hairs on the strand of existing hair.
Fabric Hair Extensions
A hair accessory designed to augment apparent hair length and thickness. The accessory is crafted from a rectangular piece of fabric, two ornamental beads, and a circular elastic band. The beads/elastic component of the accessory are mounted near the edge along one of the lenghts of the fabric. They are either slid through a small loop installed on the fabric or the elastic containing the beads is sewn directly to one edge of the fabric. The elastic and beads wrap around the hair at the base of the neck and the two hemispheres of the fabric are blended with the hair into a cornrow. The cornrow is blended to the desired length and the bottom end is secured with a circular elastic band commonly used for tying pony tails. In a variation of the aforementioned accessory the two beads are mounted on a circular elastic band which is threaded through a seam sewn along one of the width dimensions of the rectangular fabric. The second embodiment is also intended to be wrapped around a pony tail gathered at the base of the neck by means of its beads/elastic component. Wrapping the beads and elastic around the hair would also cause the rectangular fabric to wrap around the hair as it flows over it.
Hair Extension Methods And Accessories
A hair extension accessory that provides coverage, fullness, length and/or color to the user's hair and can offer such on the top of the head from ear to ear, the sides of the head from ear to ear, the front of the head from ear to ear, and/or the lower back of the head, using components comprising filament loops or portions of a circle, hair pieces (e.g., hair locks, hair twists, hair wefts, dreadlocks, etc.), and attachment fixtures that attach the hair pieces to the filaments in an adjustable and bendable manner without necessitating the use of clipping or sewing onto existing hair or glue that can cause pain, weaken existing hair follicles, and cause hair thinning and baldness.
