METHODS FOR ANAEROBIC WASTE DIGESTION

Methods for generating methane from animal waste by anaerobic digestion using bacteria. A screen separator removes suspended solids greater in size than a predetermined size ranging from about 50 μ to about 150 μ. An electrocoagulation unit electrochemically hydrolyses the waste, causing particles to settle out. A dissolved carbon air flotation has a CO.sub.2 bubbler for separating large particles from small particles by flotation. An anaerobic digester produces biogas. The digester has a biocurtain for growing the bacteria and a heat exchanger for heating the bacteria. The biocurtain surface is convoluted to retain the bacteria. A membrane module removes CO.sub.2. A knock out pot for removes droplets of water. A scrubber removes water vapor, particulates, and contaminant gas. A compressor boosts pressure. A gas chromatograph monitors the biogas composition. A flare skid lowers excess pressure for safety. Biogas is injected into a local pipeline system. A process control is used for controlling the anaerobic waste digestion system.

Systems And Methods For Fluid Monitoring And Content Control In Industrial Fluid Systems

The present disclosure provides an exemplary process for a system that may remove particulate from industrial water fluids using a Particulate Removal System (PRS). In some aspects, this system may treat water pulled from different Industrial Fluid Systems (IFS) while doing continuous monitoring and quality tests of the water. In some embodiments, the system may use sensors and other technology to allow for the system to periodically self-clean itself allowing for maximum efficiency and accuracy while also cleaning the water from the IFS. In some implementations, the water from the IFS may be filtered through a Particulate Trap Mechanism (PTM) to ensure that particulate including dissolved material has been removed from the water and separated from possible contamination throughout the system. In some aspects the system may be used for continuous and direct measurement of water quality and automatic chemical level adjustment by systems to maintain a desired range or setpoints.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION CHAMBER FOR FLUID SEPARATION APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
20210154597 · 2021-05-27 ·

A mixed fluid separator apparatus includes an overload protection chamber that prevents a large and sudden influx of oil from fouling a coalescing separator. To prevent sudden influx of a large concentration of oil from overwhelming the coalescing separator, a separate overload protection chamber is connected to a main coalescing separator apparatus. The overload protection chamber includes a water drain (majority water with some oil) to the main coalescing separator apparatus and an oil overflow (majority oil with some water) to drain excess oil when necessary to prevent overfilling of the coalescing separator apparatus. The overload protection chamber functions to rapidly separate and remove heavy concentrations of oil, protecting the main coalescing separator apparatus.

Apparatus and process for treating water

A system that uses thermal addition, particle size reduction, increasing surface area, pressure reduction and kinetic energy increases to vaporize and dewater wastewater and/or sludge and/or other liquids mixed with entrained solids to produce a cleaned water condensate and a dewatered solid product. The wastewater and/or sludge enters a cylindrical drum through a rotary entrance valve. A rotating hammermill inside a drum with an exterior thermal jacket pulverizes the entering wastewater or sludge with rotating blades that keep the pulverized product against the inside of the drum's inside surface to vaporize water to separate it from solids. The vaporized water is condensed and discharged from the system and a solid product exits the drum via rotary valves. A vacuum is maintained on the drum to enhance the system.

FILTRATION DEVICE

A filtration device includes a continuous first unit including a first membrane that separates a liquid into first permeated and non-permeated liquids, a first adjuster that adjusts a flow rate of the first permeated liquid to be substantially constant, and a first liquid scale that detects a liquid amount, a second unit including a second membrane that separates another liquid into second permeated and non-permeated liquids, a second adjuster that adjusts a flow rate of the second permeated liquid to be substantially constant, and a second liquid scale that detects another liquid amount, a first controller that controls the liquid amount in the first storage tank based on measurement values from continuous two first units or from the continuous first and second units, and a second controller that controls the another liquid amount based on a measurement value from the second unit.
