Filterwell cartridges
A filterwell cartridge having ports for dispensing a dispersant directly into a filterwell of a hot tub, spa or the like with the filterwell cartridge peripherally and postionally supportable in a quick release mode through facial engagement of compound surfaces located on opposite sides of the filterwell cartridge.
Free chlorine maintained systems
A method of maintaining a safe free chlorine level in a body of water for recreational use where the free chlorine level at a harmful level comprises determining if the free chlorine level in the body of water is above a safe level and adding sufficient DMH to the body of water to bring the free chlorine down to a safe level.
SELF-MAINTAINING HOT TUB OR SPA
An immersion structure (e.g., hot tub, spa, swim spa, pool, showerhead, whirlpool bathtub, and whirlpool bath) has a water treatment system that includes a nano bubble generator for purifying the water. The water treatment system can further include a gas generator that works in conjunction with the nano bubble generator to create a composition of liquid containing nano bubbles. The nano bubbles circulate in the immersion structure thereby cleaning the plumbing system and water. The water treatment system can be located within a cabinet housing the immersion structure. The system can be controlled (e.g., water treatment, operational parameters, cleaning boost, part replacement, etc.) by a user via a smart app on a client device.
System and Method for Transporting Particulates in Water Using Directional Bubble Walls
A system of directional bubble walls includes a plurality of bubble walls. Each bubble wall may have a shape elongated in one linear direction and have multiple air outlets directed in a perpendicular direction to the elongated direction. The air generated out of air outlets forms a blockade that either blocks particulates in water from moving through it or pushes the particulates away from it. The bubble walls may be placed in parallel to each other and separated from each other by a distance. An air source connected to the bubble walls may sequentially turn on and off the bubble walls such that the water particulates may be removed and pushed in a desired direction. The bubble walls may also be turned on simultaneously, and other modes of operation may be adapted to effectively remove and move water particulates.
Stable compositions of uncomplexed iodine and methods of use
The present invention is directed to a composition in solution (often, an aqueous solution) which comprises a combination of molecular iodine (I.sub.2) and an acceptable source of iodate (IO.sub.3), and an acid (inorganic or organic), wherein iodide and iodate are present in the composition at a molar ratio of about 0.1 to about 25, the concentration of uncomplexed molecular iodine is a disinfectant, biocidal and/or antimicrobial (depending upon the end use of the composition) effective amount the concentration of acid in the composition is effective to provide a buffering pH in the composition ranging from about 1.5 to about 6.5. Compositions according to the present invention are storage stable for unexpectedly long periods of time (up to about 5 years), and find use as disinfecting solutions, as germicides and/or biocides (e.g. antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antispore etc.) for various surfaces and solutions including living and inanimate surfaces and are particularly useful because of their low cost, their reduced use of iodine, their activity (because of the high concentration of free molecular iodine in solution), their reduced environmental impact, their long term storage stability and their reduced toxicity. They also have particular utility in treating food surfaces to retard spoilage, increase useful shelf-life and minimize the human and economic cost of food waste. The compositions inactivate viruses, bacteria (both gram negative and positive), spores and fungi. Compositions according to the present invention may be used and stored in a variety of materials, given the substantial absence of corrosion (non-corrosive) these compositions display. Dental compositions (e.g. preprocedure rinses and other compositions) and methods related thereto are also disclosed.
Compositions of particulate materials
The invention provides a composition of particulate materials. The composition comprises lanthanum chloride in particulate form. The composition also comprises up to about 4% by weight of amorphous silica in particulate form, based on the combined weight of the lanthanum chloride and the amorphous silica. The addition of amorphous silica to desiccated lanthanum chloride forms a fine coating or barrier on the outer surfaces of the individual lanthanum crystals, providing a composition that is significantly more stable and able to resist coalescence of particles than pure desiccated lanthanum chloride.
BIAS ENHANCED ELECTROLYTIC PHOTOCATALYSIS (BEEP) CLEANING SYSTEM
Methods and systems for the purification of an aqueous solution comprising a photocatalyst employed as an anode and a cathode in communication with an electrolyte to achieve a current flow wherein a charge is applied between the cathode and the photocatalytic excited anode a corresponding increase in electron-hole pairs occurs.
FLUID FILTER AND METHOD OF USE OF SAME
A fluid filter device and method of using the same are disclosed. The filter device may include a casing including a first face, a second face and at least one lateral face positioned between the first face and the second face and perpendicular thereto. The filter device may include at least two elongated pulleys rotatably supported within the casing between the first face and the second face of the casing. The filter device may include a filtering mesh threaded on at least some of the elongated pulleys to define an interior of the filtering mesh. The elongated pulleys and locations thereof within the casing are adapted to arrange the filtering mesh into a predetermined shape and to enable rotation of the filtering mesh about the at least some of the elongated pulleys.
FILTER
A filter system and filter suitable for water treatment includes a filter having a housing with a water inlet and an outlet, the housing defining a filtration chamber therein. The filtration chamber has filter media therein having a plurality of at least partially porous filtration beads and a pump for pumping water to the inlet. Such a filtration system enables high nutrient removal thus minimising the food source for algae.
Lake rake
The present invention relates to a multipurpose tool that is configured to collect seaweed and other debris from the edges of a body of water and from shorelines. The tool has an elongated handle having an ergonomic grip, a head portion, a plurality of tines extending from the head portion, and a removably attached net-like filter. Each tine has an elongated length with a downwardly extending distal portion and is supported by a curved brace, wherein the curved brace extends laterally across the tines for providing mechanical support to the tines. The tines are oriented in a tapered manner having less spacing between the tines near the head portion and more spacing between the tines at the distal end which allows the width of the tines to be larger at the distal end than near the head portion.
