Methods and Apparatuses for Attaching Hair Using Surgical Thread
A human hair implant procedure involves inserting a length of barbed surgical thread through a cannula so that a first portion including a distal end of the barbed surgical thread is near a distal end of the cannula and a second portion is outside the proximal end of the cannula, then inserting the distal end of the cannula through an entry point of the skin of the human and advancing the cannula under the skin until the proximal end of the cannula is near the entry point of the skin. Then, removing the cannula from under the skin, leaving in position under the skin the first portion of barbed surgical thread which secures a hold to tissue under the skin, and finally, attaching hair to the second portion of barbed surgical thread.
HAIR LOCKING TOOL CHARM
A hair locking tool charm has an elongated shaft with a longitudinal channel. The shaft has a cylindrical first end and a tapered second end. The channel has a continuous sidewall parallel to a discontinuous sidewall. The discontinuous sidewall includes two overlapping members with an interspace between. The channel tapers to a narrow end near the first end of the shaft. A method of locking hair with the tool charm includes putting hair in the interspace, manipulating the hair into the narrow end of the channel, and guiding the hair around the first end into a v-shaped notch. Insert the tapered end into a lock or braid, pull the tool charm through, and release the hair from the notch and the channel. When not in use, the tool charm may be worn as an adornment.
Device for Dispensing Artificial Eyelashes
The invention relates to a device for dispensing artificial eyelashes, comprising a housing equipped with a dispensing region, a carrier to which a plurality of artificial eyelashes grouped into units using a connecting strip is fixed, a movement mechanism capable of being actuated to cause movement of the carrier in order to convey the artificial eyelashes towards the dispensing region and to allow the artificial eyelashes to exit through said dispensing region, said eyelashes being oriented transversely to an axis of extension of the carrier, at least when they are passing through said dispensing region, wherein said connecting strip is positioned to the side beyond said carrier.
HAIR BUNDLE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A hair bundle apparatus is provided. The hair bundle apparatus includes: a first section comprising a loop member, a first end and a second end, wherein the first section is constructed of a first material comprising one of synthetic hair, an elastic band, wire, and thread; a second section comprising a locking member; and a third section comprising a third end and a fourth end, wherein the third section is constructed of a second material comprising human hair.
NEEDLE THREADING DEVICE FOR HAIR EXTENSION FABRICATOR
The invention is a needle threading device that is useful for automatically threading a needle for use in adding hair extensions. The needle threading device has a housing that houses the threading mechanism, a package of needles, and a plurality of spools of thread, preferably in common human hair colors such as black, brown, and blonde. The needle threading device has a needle loaded into a needle positioner portion of the threading mechanism. The needles that are loaded into the needle positioner portion of the threading mechanism will protrude out the top of the first housing half through an aperture.
HAIR EXTENSION WEAVING DEVICE
A hair extension weaving device is provided that is able to efficiently attach wefts to braided hair tracks, reducing the time necessary to add hair extensions and prevent both pain and damage to the hair stylist. The hair extension weaving device includes an upper body member and lower body member that may be releasably attached to one another. The upper body member may secure a needle member thereto that is used to sew the weft to the hair track. The lower body member may include a cavity for containing a spool of thread therein that is threaded through the needle member.
Hair Extension Tip and Method for Making Therefor
A hair extension comprises a plurality of extension hair strands, an attaching end that is adapted to be fixed to a hair extension, fixing device and a free end that is opposite to the attaching end. Each of the extension hair strands comprises a first end portion that is held by the attaching end, and. a second end portion that is free thereby forcing the free end of the hair extension. The attaching end comprises a tip portion and a fan portion that extends from the tip portion, which hold the first end portions of the extension hair strands. Each of the first ends of the extension hair strands are extended through, the tip portion, and the fan portion. A method forms the tip portion and the fan portion using a mold while resin forming the attaching portion is plastic.
APPLICATOR FOR ARTIFICIAL EYELASH EXTENSION SYSTEMS
An applicator for an artificial eyelash extension system having a plurality of filaments to which a first adhesive is disposed on a first surface thereof and to be attached to a user's natural eyelashes, the applicator includes: a tip portion having an adhesive area located on a predetermined portion of an upper surface thereof and a second adhesive applied to the adhesive area; and a tab portion connected to the tip portion and configured to be gripped by a user, wherein: a second surface of the filaments of the artificial eyelash extension system is temporarily fixed to the second adhesive, and a second adhesive strength of the second adhesive is smaller than a first adhesive strength of the first adhesive.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ATTACHING FALSE HAIR
The invention features an apparatus and method of attaching false hair. The hand-held device allows false hair to be secured onto the user's weft of hair and braid. Clips are dispensed from a tray within the apparatus to a crimping assembly by way of operation of a number of geared components of the apparatus. Aspects of embodiments of the invention also contemplate use of levered components in operation of the apparatus.
