A multi-needle threader for use in weaving hair extensions. The threader has an L shaped body for holding at least one spool of thread in proximity to a plurality of needles held in pin cushions. The needles and pin cushions are positioned on the threader such that the needles can be threaded in a sequence or order continuously one needle to another until all are pre-threaded for use and then the needles can be used in reverse order without unthreading any unused needles.

A system having a sleeve, a rod, a microtube, a transitional member, and an acceptance member. The rod is sized and shaped to have an outer diameter that is smaller than a width of an existing hair and configured to accept the sleeve. The transitional member is sized and shaped to enable the sleeve to be slid from the rod and stretched onto the microtube. The microtube is sized and shaped to accept the existing hair and the sleeve. The acceptance member is sized and shaped to enable the existing hair to be positioned into the microtube. When the sleeve is slid off the microtube and onto the existing hair, the sleeve constricts towards its original diameter, thus gripping the existing hair.

The hair receiving portion has a bilobate configuration with a first lobe that defines one end of the hole and a second lobe that defines an opposite end of the hole, with a narrowed waist defined between the first lobe and the second lobe.
